If he wanted to continue keeping watch, the window was right there. It was probably a wise choice in any case - if the lizards saw him get hit they’d be on the prowl like sharks smelling blood - but in the shorter term the more important factor was keeping Ham sitting still.

At least they were working in tandem when it came to the shoulder holster, Thera’s face screwing up in a mix of repulsion and fortitude as the odour of burned flesh became more apparent.

“Can’t tell just yet ...” Her expression didn’t much change, except to settle in a  frown as she schooled herself to ignore the smell. “Look, your shirt if fucked anyway ... let’s go the same way as with the holster, then I’ll cut it from around the wound.” And hope ... maybe even pray. Thera was absolutely not a medic except for first aid, and she was truly hanging her hopes that this was just an impact wound and a burn rather than having some sort of funky extra alien effect to go with it.

Scissors would’ve been better, but she made do with a knife, slicing the shirt until it could be drawn away except for the patch immediately around the wound. “Keep that clean, it’ll do for bandages.” All business now, any squeamishness firmly locked away. “Ugh ... OK, there’s a hole in you and burns around it.” A small shake of her head, “Not much I can do with it here, unless we can find an ice-pack to cool the burns ... best bet is to patch it and get us outta here.”

"I don't know ... maybe we should ask Willie." Mind you Thera herself certainly did, absently picking up piece from the bowl.

"But," Mouth semi-full and sucking the tiny bit of melt of her thumb, "this is Hallowe'en candy, it could be in the shape of spiders or bugs. And ..." Another piece, munching, "they do tend to swallow their food whole." Possibly all they'd need would be to get a morsel in each Visitor's mouth.

Thera hadn't, in this case, actually come up with all this before speaking - the suggestion had just popped to mind, but now the wheels were turning and she was following her train of thought aloud.

"Plus," A smack of her lips, "we'd have an excuse to be wearing masks while we hand the stuff out. I'm not talking a large-scale hit here, Ham, just weed out some of the local lizards while we can. And besides," A glance up, eyes bright, "it'll be funny."

@therapardalis: "So, Tyler. Hallowe'en candy laced with Red Dust?"

Ham paused with a piece of candy half way drawn up to his open mouth. Sweets wasn't something that he often indulged in, but there was an abundance of it currently in their hideout as some of the others tried to stay festive to liven up the resistance's spirits and morale. Normalcy was something that they didn't get a lot of these days and even he realized the importance of that.

Eyeing the chocolate for a brief moment, Ham thought the idea over, wondering if he ever saw the lizards eating candy or at least some type of human food. It sounded like a good idea in theory, but in practice?

"Do the lizards eat candy?" He asked thoughtfully, if they didn't they could always find another means to lace their food supply with with the stuff.

so I’m seeing few posts and tweets where people are saying that Tyler never liked Wednesday and that he was in it from the very beginning and just manipulating here. 

Which people then counter by saying he couldn’t even know who she was when she first entered the cafe and that he was even willing to help her escape before she got attacked by Rowan. 

now I’m wondering... how much control does Tyler have in terms of transofrming into the Hyde? like does he only transform when ordered to? Or can he still technically transform at will despite having a master? 

So we know that he was willing to help Wednesday escape at the Carnival and then she got attacked by Rowan, and then Rowan was attacked by the Hyde. 

Did Rowan get attacked because it was part of their plan? they have only harvested organs from the normies so far - and I remember it was said that Rowan’s body could not be found anymore. Do we know if anything was harvested from Rowan too?

Like. What if the Hyde only attacked Rowan because he was about to kill Wednesday. I mean yeah you can say that they need Wednesday alive hence Rowan was attacked and killed, but I like to think at that poine Tyler still didn’t know Wednesday role was and was just saving her 

Also another thing that makes no sense is that Tyler usually ends up naked and clothes riped when Hyding out and yet when they were checking out the Gates’ house and he was found with all clothes intact lmfao.

The quandary of the 'friendly' Visitors wasn't really crossing Thera's mind at the moment, regardless of whether they could be trusted or not; there were more immediate things, and more immediate Lizards, to think about right now. At least the smaller shuttles had limited space and crew - there wouldn't have been much to do with a troop carrier except throw in a grenade and hide.

She exhaled, picking up the pace as well. Tracking device or not, the Visitors would start looking for the shuttle as soon as it didn't show up where it was supposed to. Which ... honestly made her lean over from exasperated with the other group to annoyed. There simply wasn't time for the Great Debate. "Yeah," She murmured, reaching around to draw her pistol, "they're arguing about the piece of meat, we're here at," A sniff, wrinkling her nose, "the barbecue."

Alright, so that was possibly not the sort of thing she needed to remind herself about.

"On your six." Cool, professional - it would usually be Chris covering Tyler's rear, the two of them having worked together a long time, but ... well, the bare fact was Chris was wide and the shuttle doors weren't. It was a squeeze to get Thera through the door close enough to be any use. But squeeze she did, turned to look right toward the stern.

"Ugh," Murmured at the pilot being alive, and then a quirk of her brow. "You mean you don't carry handcuffs?" Expression closed she moved up to look at the unconscious Visitor herself, "Has he got a seat-belt or something? Or just a belt?" A pause, hearing Chris' warning and biting down on a nasty decision she'd really rather not have to make. "If we take him alive they're going to want to dress his injuries, and then they'll probably let him go ..."

The more she thought about it, the more the awful decision clamored to be heard. They had no real prisoner facilities, and probably not enough supplies to support an injured one. Thera took a breath, looking straight at Tyler and hoping he would guess what she meant. Maybe it was better putting the Lizard out of his misery - all their miseries - right now.
