Okay so I made a few Fanon interactions since I want Hanzo and Genji to talk/some of the heroes to mention at least Rumiko once or something! Cause she is mentioned once in "Where Honour Lives" and I want to hear interactions. I just hope the devs/writers don't ruin Rumiko's character because deep down if she "Abandoned" what caused her to leave(Knowing me my blame will always be on the elders!)

Also I only have a few characters in mind which of course the main are Hanzo and Genji since well duh that there momma! ~~~~~

Hanzo: Why do you care about our mother. Sombra: that zorro friend of yours paid me... Hanzo: zorr-Kiriko.... Sombra: Yup, though I'll say this...She's a bit hard to find which is very unusal and your zorro friend better pay up for making me do all of this effort!

Sombra: Hey Shimada's how can your mother a normal civilian just disappear!! Hanzo: I don't know maybe you should call her and ask her that yourself... Sombra: She's making my job harder for me! Genji: But isn't that your job...Tracking people? Yeah that's about it with the fanon interactions but I really hope the writers don't mess her up to badly and who knows I might add another Fanon interaction for Rumiko.

Realized that Hanzo and Soldier 76 have never had any spawn interactions. (Don't recall if Genji has said anything either - my memory's bad.) It's a bit strange to me that 76 has only had a discussion with Kiriko in-game. Thought it would be neat to write a few just for fun.

76: "Yet another criminal has joined us. Makes sense."

Hanzo: "Have you not also betrayed your family and comrades?"

76: "Huh! A smartass just like your brother."

76: "Will that bow survive a blast out in the field?"

Hanzo: "...Will you?"

76: "Even in his worst moments, Genji looked up to you."

Hanzo: "It is...common for the youngest sibling to look up to the oldest."

76: "Hm. And what's left of you to be proud of now?"

So the Venture comic, I love it

They are such a fucking nerd the way they just forgot about the fight with Mauga and started nerding out about the artifact was adorable

Also it was awesome to see Mauga in the comic, but I want to learn more about what artifact Doomfist has Talon hunting for. What era does it come from specifically? That could give us some answers without giving everything away

Plus it almost felt like Sombra was flirting with Venture a bit, although I don’t know if it was anything serious or what but Sombra clearly is thinking about using Venture to help her in her conspiracy hunt that involves Soldier 76

But god damn that artstyle kinda felt like what they did for the Venture short they released when they first launched, and I love it. I seriously hope they start investing in the comics more, although they better start fucking properly advertising them so that people know they exist. Dear god it makes me feel better that they haven’t given up on expanding on the lore of the Overwatch universe, now we just need either an Illari comic or animated short to give her a better feeling of connection to the Overwatch Universe because in game interactions are hard to take seriously as lore without something else to back it up.

Ok so I’m playing Overwatch with my dad, right? I’m Reaper, he’s Ana, so we get that one interaction talking about Soldier:76

Reaper: Tell Jack to stop chasing me.

Ana: I tried. He wouldn’t listen.

Reaper: Isn’t that just like him?

It’s a cool interaction, lets us know what Soldier’s doing since he isn’t really with the recalled Overwatch, awesome. However, there’s one issue: we had a Soldier:76 on our team, so instead of a conversation about an old friend it seemed like Reaper being passive aggressive like a kindergartener. “Tell Jack I’m not talking to him.” “He’s not talking to you either.” “Asshole.”

Invasion Spoilers

I think Reinhardt's interaction with Omnics during invasion is interesting. He has like that racism that old people have when they don't realize they are racist. Examples he thinks robots and omnics are interchangeable words, we have other characters to correct these like Lucio in the Rio fight, on the ship Rein may say something referring to the robots on the ship and calls them omnics, while Lucio will correct and say "nah, they are just mindless drones" there is a difference between robots and omnics and this story is showing us that. the mission in Canada when everyone is thinking of what to do about these things on the omnic civilians heads, Reinhardt goes up to one and tries to rip it off, when he is stopped he straight up says "What? its just a robot?" Reinhardt is a product of being in a war with these people, but it's in a strange state of having been in a time before they were people, before they were awoken by the Iris. I have to wonder how the other older overwatch characters think about Omnics. We know from Invasion that Trob fully sees Omnics as people and more than just machines, we can also see this in his relationship with Bastion, We have an idea that Jack (Soldier 76) has compassion for them but nothing really solid. I had no real direction to take this just wanted to bring it up cause i thought it was interesting.

Something I really like about the Soldier 76 and Cassidy dynamic is that, even though Jack was the Commander in charge of everyone, there doesn't seem to be much pressure between them. They're often pretty lighthearted and laid-back with each other; Jack's silly memory of Cassidy and the stapler is such a good sign of this. That's the kind of memory that he feels nostalgia over during his PTSD meltdown, with the implication that losing simple and fun interactions with the people he cares about in Overwatch is part of what hurts him so much.

Now, when Cassidy talks to Reaper, the tension is extreme; I don't think Cassidy speaks with that much anger towards pretty much anyone else. And even with Ana, Cassidy shows a type of respect towards her that doesn't feel like they're equals, even though it is a positive relationship. Meanwhile, Jack and Cassidy prod and tease each other in a much more banter-y way. (I know the in-game interactions aren't canon, but I think they do generally match the emotional dynamics). I think that's oddly sweet? It's something that's simpler and has less baggage, which has its own type of value.

...I just realized that I'm basically implying that Jack is more accessible because he's too cringe to look up to. LOL

I will say I like how the characters that are queer are like realistic

Like, Tracer casually refers to her girlfriend Emily in a few interactions/voice lines, which I think is really cool. It's a subtle way of building her character without making anything seem forced. I just also think these two are the cutest together, especially in that comic thing where they visit Winston and all have sweaters, that was precious.

Baptiste being bi makes me very happy in a way I cannot explain. It fits but like it just makes me so happy. I do not understand why and I'm not in the mental state to question why

Love old gay man Soldier. One of the most straight coded characters and he's fucking gay. Fantastic I love it, 10/10.

I want Pharah to have a girlfriend so badly. Badass butch Pharah and her sweet femme girlfriend would be so good. (I do not see Pharah/Mercy because I want them to stay friends for the sake of there can be strong, platonic relationships between gay and straight women without the queer one harboring feelings. And I feel if they did that, it would be forced to appease the fans that do ship the two. Also I just ship Genji/Mercy too strongly)

I will admit, I definitely still ship Cassidy/Hanzo. But like, I feel like they have such a complicated relationship until they realize they have romantic feelings for each other. Lots of arguing, lots of what seems like hatred of the other, blah blah blah. Meanwhile Genji who knows both of them the best, is like "nah give it time, soon they'll be inviting us to the wedding" (definitely no one believes him until it happens lol). Part of the problem I feel like is that Hanzo has a lot of internalized homophobia from being raised as heir to the yakuza empire his family ran. Like, that kind of situation doesn't seem to be very accepting, ya know?

It's also part of why he and Genji eventually became so distant from each other and what led up to the fight. Genji was openly queer in his delinquent teen years, and it pissed his family off.

But also firm believer in asexual!Hanzo. Let the man be a sad little weirdo with his cowboy boyfriend there to support him.

I feel like Morrison (Soldier 76) definitely harbored feelings for Reyes (Reaper) before the fall of Overwatch, but Reyes rejected him/had a family. It makes their relationship in current Overwatch even deeper because while the feelings weren't reciprocated, they were still friends and soldiers in arms, and now they're strangers to even themselves.
