I have no idea what you're saying most of the time about the robots but they seem silly so I vaguely grasp why one may like them so much

SAME CONTINUITY YES !!! There's actually like, a handful of shows and they're all under "the Security Breach Shows" (tsbs) title and all except one take place in the same world! That one exception is literally just one of the characters from the Sun and Moon Show (tsams) deciding that the main universe is too dangerous, and just. leaves. makes a home in another universe LMAO,,, Though I will say that the channels tend to have their own plots happening and don't intersect too terribly often, likely for the sake of the voice actors LOL

I mainly watch the ones with the Daycare Attendant characters (aforementioned tsams, then the Lunar and Earth show (tlaes) and the Eclipse and Puppet show (eaps)) but there's also channels with Roxanne and Gregory, Freddy and Funtime Freddy, etc etc! They even do crossovers for gaming episodes LMAO

i could probably write an essay on the topic if i really wanted to but that takes energy

something i really think is interesting with 10, 14, and donna is that 10 and 14 are defined so entirely by the running, by how they run away from everything and never ever wants to look back, never ever wants to face the trauma and the hurt

and donna Never Ever Lets Them

donna will not pry when she thinks she shouldnt, but she also never lets her doctor run away at the first sign of vulnerability, and shes so very human where r t davies' doctors arent even though they really want to seem like it, she thinks about the ood, she kills a wasp that was a threat but 10 wanted to at least attempt to save, she makes him save at least one family at least four people from pompeii where none Should have survived

donna is like 10 and 14s moral compass where rose and martha were love interests, donna doesnt think the doctor is hot shit which also means that she doesnt treat them like theyre on a pedestal, and when theyre at the same level as everyone else... well... the trauma is much more visible isnt it, and if theyre at the same level as everyone else then they also need equal compassion and help as everyone else

10 and 14 will always want to run away, donna will never let them, and she will at the absolute least ask the question of are you okay and do you want to talk about it, even if its not those exact words

#doctor who #recently watched the doctors daughter and it did so much for those two #how guarded 10 is and how donna relates how hes acting to humanity #and how when he opens up and shows her the trauma hes holding onto she just says that jenny could help him #not save him and not replace the people and family he lost #just help him #9 and 10 are different in that 9 isnt running. not in the same way #hes avoiding the trauma but when he encounters it he doesnt run but gets angry #i dont think that 9 would have tried to save the master i really dont #anyways ahem

there's only four players. curly sat out. no one talk to me (except there's more under the cut)

something about anya and daisuke getting really into games, really into joy is something so special pre-crash. the fact that daisuke is considered "always insanely lucky", too, has importance, even though curly is just talking about board games. when curly breaks the news to everyone and jimmy goes off on his rant, he doubles down about how daisuke will be fine because of his parents, making him, supposedly, "the lucky one."

in the end, daisuke climbed through a vent just to witness either the final moments of anya's life, or to be face-to-face with her corpse. no one could stop it from happening, but jimmy had put so much pressure on him to "save her and curly". when jimmy goes into the medbay looking for disinfectant and he looks to the vent, he says "at least he made it out the other side". was that luck?

daisuke truly was just a damn good kid trying his best.
