honestly the beast timeline and canon have pretty much the same misery/happiness ratio, but.

in canon odasaku dies at 22 (i'm guessing the age, it seems like he has the same age as ranpo in untold origins) after some of the worst days of his life, and dazai leaves the mafia and hopefully learns how to live with less despair

in beast dazai dies at 22 after a very bad life and odasaku lives on to write a book someday.

it's pretty much equivalent but no one living in canon and caring about dazai is going to choose the beast timeline. even ango ! it's pretty much a trolley problem for him - do you do nothing and keep things as they are (odasaku dead AND the kids too) or do you change the world and condamns dazai to. *gestures at beast*

So. I read a really cool fic recently called The Harrowing by Chthonion which I would highly highly recommend-

Imagine~ Sauron trying to be a good person. And having a very hard time of it because he has these things... I've heard they're called 'feelings'... Anyway. He's finding it a bit hard to deal with, but long story short, think Sauron getting a second chance and go from there.

No. 1 is Finrod, just before Annatar is about to have his first full on emotional breakdown, and the No.2 is Maedhros saying thank you. Which is fairly obvious. But still.

Teeny Tiny Tissaia Bang 3.0

Yes, you read that right! We are going into round three of our little bang!

In case you are new to this, here's a little rundown:

On September 22, Myanna Buring's birthday, we celebrate her and her portrayal of Tissaia de Vries by posting Tissaia-related art works. Drawings, fanfics, paintings, videos, poems -- whichever medium pleases you best.

As the title suggests, this is a rather small, low-key event without strict rules. Still, here are some guidelines:

The works should be Tissaia-centric, but the theme is entirely up to you. There is no minimum of words you need to write.

Artists are invited and encouraged to participate! A sketch is more than enough, but you can draw as much as you like.

Posting will happen on September 22, 2024. You can add your works to the collection on AO3 and use #teenytinytissaiabang on Tumblr.
