"Oh, hey, kid!" Toshinori is a mess. There's FLOWER everywhere but where it's supposed to be, dishes strewn across the entire kitchen, and he's pretty sure his apron used to be blue...

"You're early — wasn't expecting you back until later..." he muses, looking over the little progress he's made since his student left for his physical therapy. He overheard Midoriya mention a particular dish earlier, a favorite of his! One he hadn't had in a while — that he'd have a pretty rough time making himself, given his injuries. Toshinori thought he'd give it a shot and surprise the kid — it's too bad he's not much of a baker though...

"Ah — how about giving this old man a few POINTERS?"

Izuku wasn't entirely sure what he'd walked into. It was almost like a flour bomb had gone off inside the kitchen - and honestly, that was putting it lightly. Flour covered absolutely everything - oh, man, it was even in All Might's hair! "Hi, All Might...! Um, yeah, physical therapy didn't last as long today..." He gives in a bit of an explanation.

Green orbs dart around the various surfaces, trying to put together the ingredients (well, the ones he could see under the flour, anyway...) to establish what the hero was trying to make. Wait - whisked egg, flour...and was that pork hiding underneath...? His eyes light up, realising.

"All Might, are you trying to make Katsudon?" Izuku is touched; that's not even covering how overjoyed he was. He'd mentioned the dish in passing earlier, but since it was way too difficult on the dexterity side of things...but he'd not expected his Mentor to even remember the dish, let alone try and make it!

"Thank you so much...!" That's the most important part out of the way first, grinning and heading to wash his hands. He could at least clean up some of the flour...

"Well, if we set the rice cooking in the rice cooker first, it should be done for when we finish cooking the pork!" He starts. "And...Mum always did flour on the meat first, then the egg, then breadcrumbs...I think she uses different plates for an easier time?"
