It was dark winters night . Drake sat up in his mansion thinking of misako . He sighed looking at their high-school pictures. He wished he never cheated. He wipes tears away looking at her old house

Even past that old house, it seems like the home was still up. Even after the harsh argument; it still remains there. Standing tall after the years where Misako was living there before she moved. Her parents were still there but they would still be talkative with the neighbors.

Soon, there are comfy mats for the teens to rest along with comfy warm blankets and good pillows for them to rest. There is a huge light at the center that looks like a campfire but is artificial.

"Here we are!" Ceasar said happily. Rodan goes to put Miko and Kisho into bed, "We can do it ourselves, you know." Kisho asked. To which Rodan chuckles, "I know...rockstar. But let me tuck you in at least. For old time's sake."

"Fine..." Kisho smiles before yawning. Taz is being tucked by Kang. Ghidra helps Hana and Yuria go to sleep as well.

Yuji was walking or following along while he was relaxing in a way. He yawns softly but seeing Megumi and Nobara doing the same rubbing their eyes.

Hana was happily following with Yuria doing the same. Though, the two said nothing seeing Yuji happily holding his sister's hand. Even seeing Kisho holding Miko's hand to lead to the daycare. Miko, who was a bit sleepy herself, happily follows while holding his hand as well still just like the time they were little kids.

Before long, they were getting close but seeing the lights in the pizzaplaza now turning off leaving some rather cool little nightlights to keep the place not too dark.

This was supposed to be a routine visit to his beloved. To be a routine like he did every day. To tease Sadan, to flirt with Reyna, to spoil her staff with treats.

He didn't get any of that.

Instead what he entered into was pouring rain in a sea, who's waves writhed in turmoil.

Not to mention the beast that tore a ship apart. The scene tickled at his memory, but that outweighed the fact that he saw a body go down to the waves.

He didn't even think. He just dove down and used his magic to have him torpedo down, and grab a familiar figure in dirty robes.

He didn't think of it as he pulled them both out of the sea with his magic, and made way to the nearest body of land he saw. Which was the infamous Fort Joy.

He didn't think of it when he put his ear against a scaly chest, and made sure that the familiar lizard was breathing.

Only when he had the time to inspect her for injuries did he let himself think.

And he knew, he had changed fate.

There was no turning it around now. The only thing he could do now, was make sure that Reyna, as a mortal being, was clean, and comfortable.

It was a strange feeling. To fall while others live, watching them escape while you're drowning. But, it wasn't bad to her, she was glad. Happy, really, to have saved those she thinks needed it. Even if she died, she was satisfied in the knowledge she did what was right. Painful as it was, she was grateful the others didn't have to experience this.

But, something tugged at her, as she sank into the deep blue. First, it was a mystical tug, like someone or something higher was pulling her away. Then, it was physical, a set of strong arms around her carrying her away. She wasn't full conscious, the water and smashing muddled her senses.

But, she grunts as she opens her eyes, sputtering a bit as she coughs up a bit of water.

"Ugh...geez. I knew drowning was painful, but I could never have expected to experience it." She mumbles as she sits up, and then sees Dave, tilting her head. "Oh, umm, hello. Are you...the one who pulled me out of there?" She asks.

imagine being a vampire w a nice dark apartment and a cushy remote job plus a little nighttime doordashing to make ends meet and then your tags expire and u cant go to get them renewed bcs the dmv isn't open after dark rn so u figure you'll wait until winter to get it done but then the apartment complex has ur car towed bcs of the expired tags and u cant go get it bcs the lot isnt open after dark so they keep charging you until u simply cant afford to get it back anyway. so now you cant doordash anymore and on top of that youre having to pay for an uber every time you go out to hunt and it adds up fast and your job isnt really covering it so you look for a second job but they all want you to come interview in person during the daytime. and eventually u miss too many rent payments and late fees and your apartment management evicts you and u cant even show up to court to fight it bcs it is obviously also during the day. and the cops come and open your door and the sunlight streams in and you just burn up to a crisp right before their eyes.
