"Tormod!!!" Full on tackle, easy sling of the arms — The only thing saving the mage from being spun is the fact he's still crazy sore from the mission. Still, bright laughter echoes off the walls as the other's shaken lightly. "Wow! You didn't tell me you were coming!!! How've you been? How's Muarim?!"

"Edward!!!" Tormod returns the hug in full, squeezing his friend and feeling a warmth bloom in his chest. He doesn't get to see Edward enough, and after a whole year of silence all his feelings are swirling and he has so many questions in his head! But it's easy to just hold on now, feel the warmth that is real. "I did! I sent a bunch of letters but you never got them because you were in this weird time bubble I guess? Muarim's doing great, he's holding down the fort while I'm gone. It was his idea that I came here in the first place."

As the hug ends, Tormod notices something. Edward is taller. He was taller than Tormod when they'd met, but he's definitely grown in the time since they'd last seen each other. Dammit!

"Man!! Do they have something in the water here that works on height or what!" Tormod does the hand test, which is extremely a mistake because the top of his head only goes to the top of Ed's ears. They'll have to wrestle sometime, Tormod can beat him at that. Sometimes. "You got a whole extra year on me too, that's cheating!"

I love how this bit happens ONE DAY after he accidentally mentally incapacitates a classmate by eating the physical manifestation of her soul and we all know well and good he goes on to drop out of school(?), freeload in someone else's apartment, and fight ruffians in the streets. like there is truly no new leaf being turned over here, he really did just feel like being nice for once

They are a big fan of breathing exercises, such as "blow out the candle". They also do the 5-4-3-2-1 method (5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste).

10) Favorite endearments to use?

Meredith will call Alex "sweetie", "baby" and "cutie". Derek calls him "little man", "tiger" and "daddy's boy". I also like how in rowdyboy's "Alex Finds A Home" verse that Derek calls him "Alexander". I feel he'd do it as a term of affection just as much as he would when Alex is in trouble. It's just something sweet.

There's a classification system and both were classified as caregivers when they were 16.

Derek has always known that he wanted to adopt a Little. Meredith was less sure, given her insecurities about motherhood and her ability to care for people (thank you, Ellis Grey). She always said it'd take a special Little. And Alex is very, very special.

i just like that in the manga after teikokus loss against zeus kidou is invited to join forces w raimon so they can beat kageyama and kidou refuses because hes teikokus captain. but after visiting them in the hospital and seeing genda so frustrated and angry that kageyama didnt care about the teikoku they were all so proud of, and that he used them like tools, he decides to join raimon to help them against zeus &kageyama bc as teikokus captain hes the one who should beat kageyama for his teams sake so they can move on. thinking more abt anakin with scars on his hands and legs and honestly i think he may be one of the few jedi who DOES just have. random scars. because obi-wan and bail talk in wild space about how obi-wan doesn’t really have many scars, excluding lightsaber scars (because those wounds cauterize instantly) because of how good jedi healing is... but anakin lived for nine years not able to access that kind of healing. he DEFINITELY has scars from his childhood.
