As the crowd laughed at his joke, he scanned the crowd again looking for his wife and daughter, only to spot them at the front of the barricade, his little girl waving at him frantically.

"There she is!" he cheerfully said, a huge smile appearing on his face, "Hi baby, I see you. Are you enjoying the show?" he got closer to them, bending down to press a small kiss on the girl's head, "Oh no! You can't take that, daddy needs that to sing," he said when he realized that the baby was grabbing his mic, trying to take it from him, "I guess she loves the stage already."

The crowd went absolutely crazy over the interaction, recording it and taking pictures that would make the internet go crazy too.

a small pout formed onto your lips, ohone in hand screen frozen on the f1wag page. a part of you wanted to be in disbelief of what you saw. charles had told you that he something important to do and bestie name had said she was busy as well. the dots were slowly connecting as if it was a game of squares.

the thought of your boyfriend of almost two and a half years cheating on you with your best friend was not a pleasing thought, scowling at the idea of it. you were sitting down on the couch knees tucked into you, your head resting on them staring down at the phone screen. dozens of thoughts flooded your brain.

is he cheating on me? how long? does arthur know he is being cheated on? are they for sure cheating on me? they’re childhood friends i don’t think he is cheating on me! bestie name doesn’t even like charles like that! am i being played? the thoughts had flooded your brain you had completely forgotten to get ready. the vibration of your phone had broken you out of your dazed state. looking at the caller id it was him. it was charles, the words in bold “lover boy<3” had popped up with a cute picture of him. pressing the accept button you put it on speaker,

yn : hello?

lover boy<3 : mon ange! are you ready?

yn : ..uh yeah im almost ready!

you quickly ended the call ruffling your hair taking in a deep inhale before getting up to go get ready quickly.

after rummaging through your closet you found a cute brown pleated skirt, to match with it you grabbed a white tank top and black and white cardigan with a black beret. looking at the mirror you smiled at the outfit heading to the bathroom to do some quick makeup. nothing too fancy

charles furrowed his brows at the erupted ending of the call. he didn’t think much of it shrugging it off. maybe you were just tired was a thought he had, not once did he think you found out he was with your bestie name.

you had just finished in time, charles texted you that he was outside. grabbing a small purse putting your wallet and phone in there pranced your way to the front putting on a pair of brown boots you had just bought. the walk to the car felt dreadful. the more you stepped closer more thoughts flew over your head, you were starting to convince yourself that maybe he was cheating on you with her.

you needed to shake the idea out of your head and you had to do it now, your hand was on the car door handle but you hesitated. charles noticed your hesitation, his brows furrowed some more as he leaned over to the other seat opening the door for you. “mon angé are you alright?” he watched you climb into the seat buckling up. one thing about charles, he is a person who is very expressive from the body language to the faces to the voice itself. yn looked at him placing a small peck on his cheek, “yeah im just a little tired that’s all”

charles stared you down he was trying to see if you were lying or not, “well tu sais tu peux toujours me dire n'importe quoi mon ange, si ça te dérange tellement dis le moi. you know you can always tell me anything my angel, if it bothers you so much tell me.” he tucked a piece of your hair behind your exposing your cheek that got what felt like a genuine kiss. the ride to wherever you were going was suffocating, both of you hated it. you cleared your thought brushing your hand against his free hand. “so mister charles where was this important place you went to today?” you wanted answers so you kept pushing for him to tell the truth.

charles quickly looked and you before looking back at the road, “if i tell you where i was and what i was doing it wouldn’t be a secret mon ange!” he was being very smiley, your lips formed an o shape. “why do you wanna know? are you trying to stalk me?” charles snickered his shoulders slowly bouncing up and down. you shook your head clearing your throat, “i don’t need to do that i already have someone for that..” your tone was bitterly.

you were staring out the window, you didn’t want to bare the sight of him. what if questions flew everywhere you got more upset with yourself you didn’t want them, charles noticed the shift in attitude; “mon ange seriously tell me what’s wrong,” concern laced his voice as he grabbed your hand placing mini kisses on them “, i don’t like seeing you upset. i can any questions you have just talk to me..”

a sigh escaped your lips looking at the pouty monegasque, “why were you with bestie name today? she said she was busy and you said you had an important thing to do today. are the two of you you kn—” your throat throbbed as each word managed to escape your throat, “what?” was all charles could reply with, he quickly parked the car before facing yn.

“rumor has it you were with bestie name today at a mall together..there of pictures of the two of you together charlie” his grip on your hands tightened as each word flowed out of your mouth. “chérie im not cheating on you with bestie name, i would never.” his heart broke seeing you think of all that, “okay but what was important that the two of you had to go to the mall together?” you just wanted to few reassurance.

“well..fuck i cant say it but its a surpise. you weren’t supposed to see those photos seriously, im not cheating on you when i went to the mall with her earlier. we went to go get some gifts for arthur you can even ask him mon amor!” he watched as her shoulders that were tensed up became relaxed. “oh. i’m sorry that i jumped to conclusions so fast it wa—”

charles chuckled letting go of her hand, “it’s okay mon ange. its those stupid fan accounts fault for making you think that.” he said getting out of the car to go open the door for you.

he had taken you to a nice small cafe, it wasn’t very popular but it was one of your favorites. the honey outside atmosphere was definitely to die for, the way green plants coated everywhere. the two of you sat at what was a four person table. pointing at the two empty seats charles just smiled, “two people will be joining us but they’re running a little late..”

“i didnt get to say this but you look beautiful my love” charles who grabbed your hand the table fiddling with it. “am i never beautiful to you?” you scoffed playfully—charles was taken aback from that comment “no no you’re always beautiful you just look extra beautiful!” charles justified or well he believed. “so you don’t think i’m extra beautiful whenever?” you pouted playfully. charles who was lost for words “no you are just so—you know what i mean mon amour!!” he sighed frustratedly causing you to giggle at his frustration.

“you’re so mean mon chérie~” he scrunched up his face to make it look like he was upset, “i’m not mean you are just easy to pick at!” you justified, “mean.” “no” “mean” “no” “charlie we sound like children..” “well you started it” he smirked making you roll your eyes at him. a comfortable silence fell between the two, you started to believe the other two were just not going to come at all.

“you have pretty eyes charlie” you blurted out without a care, a blush crept onto his face. he didn’t know if it was the compliment or if it was the fact you were staring at him as if he was the only thing that mattered in the world, maybe it was both. “you think so chérie?” he felt the grip of his hand that had been interlocked with yours tighten. “i don’t think so i know so” she had such loving stares it made charles weak to his knees. the stares she gives him make his heart flutter like a teenage boy seeing his school crush, he was always lost for words, he was little butter melting in your touch and stares.

the truth is, he was upset with himself finding out that you had these thoughts, these thoughts that he was cheating on you with your best friend. he wanted to get you a gift and he didn’t want to fuck it up; he believed bringing someone who you held dear to your heart and who knew you best would’ve been the right choice—he didn’t think once you would take it as him cheating on you with her bestie. it hurt him inside.

he had always wanted to show you how appreciative he was of you, he never had the time but now he does. you do so much for him and he wants to thank you for that, the states you give him; they were loving and warmly. the way you love him throughout his career taking time to visit his races it did something to him. from how you looked at him, touched him, smiled and laughed at his jokes, how you talk about him so much to family, how you make playlist about him, and even made sure he felt like he was the priority in everything—it did something for him. since the first day he met you he knew you were the one for him.

the way you made sure you’re there for him after the races and that you were okay made his heart skip beats. he had always felt like the knight in shining armor in previous relationships but with you he felt like the princess and you were the knight. he loved everything about that; it was something new to him something he never would’ve thought he would love. the small cartier box warmed in his pockets. you are always doing stuff for him he just wants to do one simple thing for you, is that too much for him to ask for? he knew he had to wait for arthur and bestie name to get here but he seriously couldn’t.

he thought any longer he waited he would spill the beans about everything, “chérie you know how much i love you right?” his lips parted as his hand slowly made his way to his pocket grabbing the small cartier box. “always know, you tell me like every hour even on the race track” you had teased a smile evident on your lips. “tu sais à quel point je t'aime mais sais-tu à quel point je t'aime ? Je te chéris tellement, j'aime tout ce que tu fais pour moi, j'aime la façon dont tu es toujours là pour moi, peu importe à quel point je fais mal sur la piste de course ou je suis contrarié. tu fais tellement pour moi, c'est vraiment comme un cadeau! you know how much i love you but do you know how much i love you? I cherish you so much, I love everything you do for me, I love how you are always there for me no matter how badly I do on the racetrack or how upset I am. you do so much for me, it's really like a gift.”

“tu es un cadeau que je dois protéger de tout ce qui arrive, je n'ai jamais été doué avec les mots mais chaque fois que tu es avec moi, je fond. tu as sur moi cet effet que je n'avais jamais ressenti auparavant dans les relations que j'avais. you are a gift that i have to protect from everything that happens, i have never been good with words but every time you are with me i melt. you have this effect on me that i have never felt before in the relationships i had.” charles titled his head to the side closing his eyes taking a deep breathe, “charlie what’s this about?” you had questioned sitting up properly instead of slouching. “just promise me something mon amour. promise me that you will be with me no matter how hard times are.” charles slowly pulled out the red velvet textured box from his pocket.

it was a small rectangular box with gold like lettering saying “cartier”. charles had placed it into your hands, “you do so much for me so the least i could do is buy a promise ring.” his voice turned soft, it was silky soft. the box on the other hand was in your grasp you were staring at it, a prominent smile rushed to your face, “charlie..” you had opened the box to see a singular gold band with jewels graves into it, “its a promise ring, a promise that i will love you endlessly.” charles held up his hand showing how he was already wearing his.

“its beautiful…charlie. i love it” you took the ring out of the box putting it on a one your right index finger, “and i promise to love you endlessly.” a blush creeped onto your cheeks, “thank you 아기. 사랑해요 baby. i love you” charles wasnt fluent i.n korean that’s for sure but he knows how to say he loves you, “i love you too mon ange.” he grabbed your hand with the ring on it placing a soft kiss, smiling to himself.

“CHARLES I TOLD YOU WAIT TILL WE GOT HERE.” you heard your bestie name’s voice boom near you, it startled you but it made you giggle. “well you two were taking too long and i got impatient…hurry up next time” he scoffed, your bestie name didn’t let that slide and she started to punch him lightly. “i hope you didn’t fuck it up. be glad i went with you to get the proper ring size!” your bestie grabbed his ear and the two started to fight.

it truly did feel like home with them, “i’m guessing he gave you the ring?” arthur said standing behind you with his hands in his pockets, “you knew?” yn looked at him your lips forming an a line. “of course i knew thats why i tried to defend them but it was no use at that point, people jump to conclusions too much” he shortened a chuckle. “yeah you’re right they do.”

“Ok Simon!I have this cute baby pink crop top or should I wear the baby blue one?”You ask while showing your boyfriend the two shirts.Simon did a quick scan off both shirts before looking at the skirt you had picked out.It was a black,pleated skirt with small rhinestones on the belt loops.

“I feel like you should wear the blue one.I think it would go good with the skirt your gonna wear”Simon said while going back to messing with his camera,

You nod as you toss the pink shirt back into the closet before smiling at Simon and thanking him for his help.Not only was he such a cutie but a big help when it came to styling you.

He was the only male you would trust picking out your outfits.Sometimes the two of you would match if you were able to convince him.it would take a couple minutes of begging but sooner or later you would make Simon have matching pink themed outfits!

Even if he found it absolutely ridiculous,As long as you were happy he was even more happy.

Oil is Thicker Then Blood (Part 43)

“Hey! I'm agh, back!” N was still completely covered in mud and filth, his coat littered in scratches and stains, his hat was clutched in his hands, and his brand new WDF badge in his pocket.

The badge was a bronze shield with the worker drone icon embossed on the front, he felt accomplished, he'd done this himself earned something for himself for the first time… ever.

“In here!” Uzi called from the bedroom, and N followed it, the door was wide open, and Uzi was laying belly down on the bed, absent of her normal hoodie and left in her purple tank top. Her tail was free as well, but it was curled up at her side, relaxed. She had cracked open a dusty book and was visor deep into it. N couldn't help the gold that creeped into his cheeks.

Excuse him for finding his girlfriend hot cute.

When their gazes connected, Uzi jumped up, looking equal measure concerned and surprised at the wreak of a dissasemy drone in front of her.

“You look like you got into a fight! What happened?” Her hand was on his cheek, he felt himself smiling, his tail wagging behind him.

“Your dad put me through their training course, turns out I'm not exactly built for uh… the ground.” He purred and put his hand over hers. His head already felt heavy, and he was almost overwhelmed by the urge to fall into the bed, taking her with him.

“Well? What was your time?” She asked smirking.

“Minute fifteen.”

“Ah dang, you beat me.” She replied in mock dissapointment, but N knew it wasn't something she meant.

“Huh?”

“I used to do that course the couple of times dad took me into the office. I got pretty good at it… my best was two minutes.” She explained, she pulled away from him face, leaving him wanting for more contact.

“How'd you get past the wall?” He asked, almost already knowing the answer.

“Kinda just had to run up it. It was always my worst enemy…”

“Heh… I thought so, I did too.”

“Let's get you cleaned up, okay?” In the next moment she had his hand and was leading him to the bathroom connected to their room, he blinked, fighting back the warmth that was crawling up his arm and into his processors.

“I can do that myself.” He hummed, although he didn't let go of her hand, or really suggest she leave.

“Let me take care of you?” Uzi replied, several tones lighter then her usual tone.

He blushed at that, feeling uncertain about his own words parroted back at him, he nodded sheepishly.

She locked the door behind her, before turning around, her tail was wagging gently behind her, and a blush was on her face. N giggled at her embarrassment.

“You sure? I really can do this myself.”

“Y-yes! I'm um… also testing a theory, just… shush.” She grumbled, closing the gap between them before her hands clasped around the fur of his coat, before she went to unbutton it.

N felt his core speed up, watching as she slowly undid each button, each move deliberative, as if she was trying to move through water.

“You feeling it too?”

In response, Uzi looked up at him, looking almost like she was in pain.

“Trying to fight it. Also part of my theory, just… hush please… don't make me kiss you.”

She got to around his waist and undid his belt, throwing it to the floor along with his hat, he shrugged off what was left, leaving the filthy garment to join the pile on the floor.

He felt exposed like this… it didn't help that Uzi had paused for a moment to look at him, eyes rolling over every groove of his sleek chassis even though it was still covered in grime.

He forced every eye away from her direction feeling self-conscious for the first time in… forever.

“S-sorry.” He heard her mumble, before she pulled a rag that was hung on the wall down and wet it in the sink, before crouching down and beginning with the grime caked on his legs.

Uzi was doing her best not to explode, but there was a reason she was doing this, and it wasn't just an excuse to see her boyfriend naked. No, she'd been doing quite a bit of reading while N had been out, specifically, biology.

Even more specifically, bat species, their habits, behaviors, what made them tick and why. Trying to figure out why they were being dragged into these trances and if they could control them in some way.

N meanwhile was trying to control himself.

No one had ever shown this much tenderness to him, and Uzi was being incredibly gentle with him, he wanted to melt. He was melting, he was putty, Uzi's putty and she could do whatever she wanted with him, he'd be good for her.

His purring became remincent of a motorboat, so loud and so strong it was vibrating his entire chassis, she finished his leg, wrung out the rag, and started on the other, she was quick and methodical, and made sure to be extra careful in places moisture could get trapped inside his plating, treating rust was a pain in the ass.

“How you feeling?”

“Mmm… good.”

He wasn't all there, she could tell from his voice, which is what she figured, N didn't seem to have the willpower she did, and got swept away with the gushy, fluffy feeling that came with the trance easier.

She was still fighting hers, ever present and buzzing uncomfortably in the back of her mind. She'd give it what it wanted, but she wanted to prove her hunch first.

Thankfully, she didn't need N to be all there for this to work… if it worked at all.

When she finished, he was finally free of the by then dried mud that had covered any part of his body that had been exposed while he'd done the course, which had ended up being quite a bit of him.

Then instead of getting him a change of clothes, she stopped resisting the urge that had plagued her since the second he walked through the door, and buried herself into his arms.

Her theory? Clearly, whatever weird instincts were having them do this wanted them close, otherwise neither of them would feel a pull this strong, so… if they were to willingly indulge this feeling, with as few layers on as possible separating them. Maybe they could control it. Maybe.

It was based on only a day or two worth of bat research, and most of it had proved completely useless. Most bats simply didn't behave the same way, being social, polygamous animals, who didn't seem to pair up, at least for long.

Except…. One.

A very obscure, very specific bat native to Australia. A false-vampire bat that paired for life. The yellow winged bat. Which wouldn’t you know it, typically slept in that pair, holding wings.

They couldn't do that, the ceiling wasn't tall enough, and N's wings were made out of blades. But this was the next best thing.

The silicone on silicone contact was almost scary if it didn't seem to be everything her body had been telling her to do for the past week, N immediately wrapped himself around her, ignoring her tank top in favor of running his hands underneath it.

N was warm, and safe. And despite being made out of metal he felt so soft. Her tail coiled and tightened around his waist, and his tail did the same.

“Biscuits…” He mumbled, causing her to try to hold in a cackle, but that meant it was working, the fog in her processor was finally starting to lift, further then it had even in moments where she'd thought she'd been fine, she took a deep breath.

So… they'd essentially been touch-starving themselves. Cuddles helped, but not what these new instincts wanted, animals didn't have clothes… so they didn't need any either… apparently.

“Are you freaking kidding me…?” Uzi was honestly more mad that this was actually working, the only thing her body wanted was skin-to skin contact?

“Mmm. Don't complain, this is nice…”

Uzi couldn't help but agree with him.

The next morning. The brain fog was gone.

Amy Rose’s Quills

Yes, it’s that time again! Where I ramble about character designs and why I adore them so much. In this post, I want to talk about Amy’s quills and why I like the different ways it can be represented in official and none official media.

Just like Amy’s eye color. I’ll also make guesses as to why her overall design changed officially and in canon to make things interesting. Let’s get started!

Long Quills

This style is in Amy’s first design. Being the Minnie to Sonic’s Mickey, she had the same quill style as him. Aside from her bangs. While I do think the quills look cute, it almost makes Amy look like Sonic’s sister. I guess that’s why they changed it later on.

I say this only in comparison to her modern design. The Minnie inspiration is the reason she’s here. I’m only talking about her changing designs and making it less identical to Sonic.

My favorite iteration of her classic look is in Sonic Mania Adventures Christmas special. Just look at the differences. It may not be a HUGE change, but even her nose is slightly smaller. I just love the Mania’s designs in general. They’re awesome! I still do love the OG design too. Classic Amy is so precious.

Look at how Sonic’s quills are messier than Amy’s here. I think it gives them more dimension. Showing how one cares more about grooming themselves than the other. It’s kind of cool and I wish it was integrated in canon more. Not because it’s “important” but it’s a fun idea.

Short Quills

Ever since Sonic Adventure, Amy’s design changed immensely. Even Sonic himself noticed it in Adventure 1. Her outfit, eye color, nose, and quills (besides her iconic bangs) are different. Giving her an older more teenage look. I say this because Amy doesn’t look any older or younger then Sonic.

(Or any other teenage/young adult character for that matter)

They are sometimes even shown to have the same hight at times. Back to the quills, Amy now barely resembles her classic design and definitely looks less like a Minnie Mouse inspired design. Her classic design is still amazing, but I believe the change was a necessary one. The differences between her and Sonic are more apparent and noticeable and I think that’s a good thing.

Mixed

Here’s my own example, but there are many other fantastic fanartist who does something similar with both styles together.

Why do people like this quill style a bunch? I’d say it adds more flavor to her personality. Her having the classic long quills along with the short front dreads could symbolize her adventurous side along with her girly side. It blends the two nicely and overall looks visually interesting. While I will say her shorter quills does differentiate her better, I’ve seen plenty of artist change it up a bit in unique ways. It’s fun to create and see what ideas an artist could have for Amy.

Why Amy’s Quills Were Changed?

I’d say the official reason is because of the things I said before. But the in canon reason could be Amy wanting to look pretty enough for the next time she sees Sonic. Or perhaps she thought to change her appearance simply because she wanted to look cuter. Though I’d say the first answer is the most likely because her love for the blue blur was much more prominent in the past.

Conclusion

Did I use this as an excuse to gush about Amy again? Yep! I regret nothing. I love love LOVE Amy Rose and how interesting her design is in the past and present.

i recently was gifted some 03 merch that i haven’t seen online and wanted to share! the two artworks on the left are somewhat transparent, i’m not sure what they’re intended to be but they are super cute! and i’m going to share some photos of the character collection below the cut - this will be a little long and photo-heavy! and disclaimer, i don’t have a scanner nor can i read japanese, so i’m just going to be sharing the pages most visually / conceptually interesting to me

our boy ed gets several pages dedicated to him, no surprise, but i really like this little collage of images with the episode numbers displayed. it also includes the iconic “love is love” thumbs up which is funny to me

al similarly gets a lot of pages dedicated to him, but this one stuck out to me as a cute comedic page - i wonder if the little red and yellow text bubbles under ed and al in the middle of the page are what they say in the scene or something original?

i really loved this collage in winry’s section! it highlights her outfits and, just like ed’s, gives us screenshots with episode numbers behind her

riza’s section has an entire page on her relationship with black hayate, which i just found delightful. i love that they include the crude sketch of him as the little thumbnail for the section lol

interestingly, hughes' section ends with this all-red page focused entirely on his death. this made me wonder, what do the book creators consider spoilers? they don't exactly shy away from the more spoilery characters later on and they pretty much document nina's story in its entirety, yet at the same time we don't get a lot of information about hoenheim, envy, or ANYTHING about the other side of the gate. so what's the cutoff here? the last ten episodes? either way, i just found it interesting

my girl sheska gets two whole pages dedicated to her! that's more than breda, havoc, maria ross, and most of the homunculi. good for her.

while i can't read what this says, i found it interesting that they put dante and lyra's pages together. i don't know if they give away the twist, but either way, they clearly knew what they were doing - even if the excuse is that they put lyra with dante since she studies under her

scar gets two whole pages!! DESERVED!! i love that they include so much of his story, especially his relationship with his brother and lust

speaking of, lust is the only homunculus to get a two page spread! they even gave us some scarlust crumbs....

just wanted to include pictures of the 03-original homunculi, it's interesting that they were put together! and once again, this brings up my questions of "what is considered spoilers"

rose also gets a two page spread!

and possibly most baffling is... CLARA gets a two page spread too? for a character who only shows up in one episode this is mind boggling to me. a lot of the 03 original characters get small highlights - archer, the tringhams, etc - but clara gets the largest spot. maybe her episode was more popular while this was being made, or the creators just really liked her, idk

i think that we, as a community, need to talk about the parallels between the black brothers and tai lung and tigress from kung fu panda. i can (AND WILL) elaborate, but now i'm just lazy

oKAY, NOW I'M READY

so it all started when i went to watch kung fu panda 4 with my niece. first i was inconsolable bc the great lesbian icon tigress wasn't in the movie, but then, when i was out with some friends we started to look up fanarts of her at pinterest and there was this cute fanart of her and tai lung being siblings and playing togheter and IMMEDIATELY i thought about the black brothers

i need you guys to forget about the goodxbad stuff here bc that's not the point, the point is siblings angst. so tai lung, aka sirius, is the first son, the one to carry all the expectations, the one literally beign raised to become the dragon warrior/heir to the black house. and here they diverge a little bc tai lung tries, he gives all of him to achieve this, and all the love and attention from master shifu is conditioned to him beign the next dragon warrior but sirius is a rebel, he hates all that's linked to be a black and hates the person that his parents want him to be, so he do wathever is in his power to not be that person.

BUT THERE IS A BREAKING POINT FOR THE BOTH OF THEM: when their parents realized that they aren't and never will be what they want them to be. so tai lung goes insane bc not only he's beign denied everything that he fought for, the very thing that defines him as a person, but he can see that his father, whom he always though loved him, is starting to resent him bc he didin't get what he wanted from tai lung (this post is not a shade to master shifu, i love him, but i'm here for the drama). now with sirius his parents finally realized that he's not going to be the perfect little heir, so they torture him, and the last piece of hope that he had for his parents to love him is gone, THEIR LOVE AND ATTENTION WAS CONDITIONED JUST AS IT WAS WITH TAI LUNG AND MASTER SHIFU, now that he's to no use, he isn't valuable anymore. so they're both gone (tai lung go insane and ends up in jail and sirius go live with the potters)

meanwhile, we have tigress, aka regulus, the younger one, that is only there to fill the void that their older siblings left. regulus saw sirius with their parents, he (regulus) never received much attention from any of them, but he just knew that if sirius had been a good son they would've loved him, bc they tried, they tried to teach sirius the ways of the black family and there were moments, when they were satisfied with sirius behavior, that almost seemed that they loved him. so when sirius left and their focus turns to regulus he's ready to be the most obedient and well behaved son on this earth. now, tigress had never lived with tai lung, when she came to the temple he was already in jail, but she heard how master shifu adored him, and how broken he was that he was gone. she also knew that what caused them to drift apart was the whole "you're not the dragon warrior" thing, so the only way that she could gain the master's attention was to become the dragon warrior. but it didin't matter how hard they tried, how much they gave away to those people, they just weren't their siblings, they weren't enough.

i also like to think of the fact that tigress always felt like she was doing good, like, i'm not enough, my father doesn't really care about me, but this is my purpose and i'm actually helping people so at some point everything is going to be ok (when i become the dragon warrior), and i think that's kinda what regulus felt too, and i'm NOT excusing any bigotry behavior here, but he genuinely believed that he was doing some good for the wizard world by supporting his parents cause, so it's interesting when we think about "why reggie didn't leave??", because why would tigress leave???

i ALSO like to think about the skittles beign the furious five: tigress as reggie, monkey and crane as barty and evan (just two dorks who are superpowerfull), viper as pandora (i fell that there's no explanation needed) and mants as dorcas (c'mon, that little thing full of rage is very dorcas coded).

anyways, now i'm tired and won't be rereading nothing, so i don't know if it's understandable or if it's even english at this point, if you have any doubs fell free to ask

This is such a nice question. (For the record, my favorite anpanman SIDE characters, so not baikinman, are the kabuki radish, the train, and....old baikinman.)

Now for something i've ALWAYS wanted an excuse to tell you guys...that's actually kind of hard because I run my mouth so often here. BUT, since I made a whole post singing the praises of orbulon (and ashley for some reason), I will thusly use this as an excuse to celebrate my favorite weirdgirl in cartoon history.....

MISS MONA

Miss Mona is a force to be reckoned with. The ultimate bastion of eccentricity, she is unapologetically herself; never will she ever tone herself down for someone else. Even when she is slightly diffident about presenting her "strange" games, she usually follows it up with "i worked hard on these, so you BETTER LIKE IT." And she's right. You better.

Continuing in that vein, she is a connoisseur of all things strange and offputting. Wario is her fashion icon, "moth and beetle larvae" are her favorite animals, and she's made like ten snot-related microgames.

In fact, the beetle and moth larvae should honestly be their own bullet point, because you know how much I fucking love beetle and moth larvae. (i think her favorites are dermestid beetle larvae and woolly bear caterpillars)

The fact that she is so unperturbed by the strange and offputting is also part of what makes her such a damn nice person. Mona is a friend to all. There is no one too weird, too antisocial, or too actively hostile to her personally that Mona will not welcome with open arms. She is a very popular person and that's because she goes so out of her way to make everyone feel included. She is even the first one to attempt the impossible task of befriending Ashley - that alone says A LOT about her character.

That also makes the times when she's not so nice all the funnier and more refreshing. Mona loves Wario, but she also absolutely will not take shit from him. She is always the first to berate Wario for being greedy and selfish, even when she's a little hypocritical about it...

6. She is a Girly Girl, which is not only unusual for this type of character, but also is not tacked-on just because she's a girl; all of her "girly" interests further serve her characterization. She loves fashion because she's so enthusiastic to express herself. She's a cheerleader because she loves intense athletics and yelling really loud. She loves "cute things" because to her a maggot is cute. She's not "girly" because she has to be, it's just a natural progression of her character. And she's OK with that!

7. So many of her microgame descriptions in Mega Microgames have puns in them which is the highest form of humor:

8. She is a DAMN HARD WORKER. She's doing all those jobs ON TOP OF being a high schooler, AND her extracurriculars, AND warioware. I always think it's weird when people say that Mona couldn't possibly be a teenager because she drives and has a job, because not only does that not make any sense, but to me she is the quintessential embodiment of an overachieving highschooler. Take a break girl!!!

Hell yes I can!!!! Strap in lads, I've decided to put this under the cut because it got... long. Thank you so much for this question anon, I'm sorry if it's not quite what you wanted, it kind of ran away from me!!! But please know that I had so much fun doing this!! I'll take any excuse to talk about Control fashion!!!!

Okay, so:

The Director's suit

What can I say, just look at it, 10/10, no notes (well, lots of notes, but all about how much I love it!!!) Absolute perfection!!! The details on this outfit!!! The triangle on the back, the little triangle on the shoes, the cut outs on the jacket, the hair pin?????? It's truly everything to me, and I love it's story significance of visually showing Jesse embracing her role as Director, it's just the perfect example of everything the FBC and Oldest House is!!

(Also, fun fact, the first thing I thought when I saw it was 'oh, yeah, I understand why this is one of Julia Drawfee's favourite games now'...)

2. Asynchronous suit

Again, what can I say??? Look at it, this thing is just gorgeous!! Oh, the details!!! The structure is so beautiful, all the different shapes, the Brutalist nature of it all!! Also her cute little boots, I love them and the way they blend into the leggings!

Also, as someone who would desperately love for Jesse to get a skirt at some point, the half skirt and the way it moves in combat is everything to me, ahhh it looks so good!!!

3. Civilian outfit

I love her original outfit so much!!! It's so simple, yet it manages to be so iconic!!! I remember someone I was watching complain that her outfit wasn't great because it doesn't stand out enough, doesn't make her look like enough of an outsider, but personally I completely disagree! Control is such a high aesthetic game, and Jesse's civilian out so perfectly compliments the aesthetics of the Oldest House through its colour scheme and silhouette! Especially the back of the jacket, I absolutely adore the structure of it, it kind of has a similar energy as the Asynchronous Suit with the sharp Brutalist energy it has. But at the same time, by making it a leather jacket and jeans, it stands out so clearly from the (sometimes unnecessarily extra) formal shirts and trousers/skirts the others wear.

Anyway, love it! Also adore the bright blue of the original jacket!!!

4.Janitor's Assistant

Love it!! Love it so much!!! I adore the rolled up sleaves and trouser legs (whether this is for fashion or practicality, I do not know, but it is aesthetically pleasing none the less). Also, I love the detail that's she's wearing her original boots with this outfit, it feels like a cute visual cue of how comfortable she feels in this outfit/role. Also, the fact that Ahti gives it to us personally for a job well done just, perfection...

(also look at her little hammer and plyers, she deserves them!!!)

5. The Golden Suit

I do indeed enjoy the Golden Suit, I mean, it's a variation of my beloved Director's Suit, and has a lot of the same details I love that one for, but it just doesn't hit the same for me. I think I would prefer if it had a white shirt, or the shirt was a little darker as the greyish colour just isn't quite for me, (though it could be the darn lighting in the Oldest House). But still, I do indeed love it, I mean look at her, she still looks incredible even if its not quite my style!

6. Expedition Gear

You know what, I used to think I didn't like this outfit, but it grew on me as I was looking at it for this, and you know what, I love it now!! Like, to begin with it's one of the outfits that has the ponytail, and I absolutely adore this hairstyle!!! The way it moves in combat is gorgeous, and I enjoy the effort made to give her a high pony style that doesn't make her look like Beth Wilder!! But again, rolled up sleeves, super cute, the zipper/clasp detail on the side, it's all giving practical but fashionable, and I'm so hear for it!!

7. Extradimensional Suit

She's cool!! I mean, this outfit has the ponytail, so that's already a win! It's not my style, or the sort of thing I'm interested in, but I can appreciate it for what it is. The colour scheme is gorgeous, I love all the textures and shapes, particularly the piping around the neck (it reminds me of the mail room/pneumatics!). And as always, she looks incredible in it, so a solid outfit all round, just not one that makes me go feral, you know?

8. Office Assistant

I do very much love this outfit, I think she looks adorable, there's just not that much going on. I do love her little sensible heels, and the fact that the shirt is pinstripe rather than plain, it's cute!!! It's also just, it just is the FBC, it's such a recognisable look throughout the game, so I very much appreciate it!!

(Can you imagine if we got the pencil skirt version too????? Sigh, I can only dream...)

9. Candidate P7

Again, like, story wise this outfit is fascinating- (I've been thinking recently, like, at what point did Darling decide Dylan was a lost cause, and what did that mean for their pursuit of Jesse?? Is there a reason they just happened to have a prime candidate outfit ready for her, exactly in her size???)

Anyway, fashion wise there's not much to say, though I never realised you could run round the Oldest House in little socks, that's cool!! It also looks so cosy, but it has far too many lore implications for that, so unfortunately it does come last, but it's still cool!!

Bonus Round- Pre order exclusives

1.Tactical Response

You do not understand how unbelievably sad it makes me that this was an pre-order exclusive and I can not have it, because I love it so so much, it is gorgeous!!!!!!!! Look at her, she looks incredible!!!! The pony tail, the monochrome, it's like her civilian outfit but just elevated to the highest degree, I love it so muuuuuuuuuch!!!!!!!!!!

2. Astral Dive suit

I feel similarly about this outfit as I do the Extradimensional suit. Not quite my style, but I highly appreciate it, it's beautiful!! Also her hair, ahhhhhhh!!

3.Urban Response

It's cute!! It has a lot of the things I love about the Tactical Response, but the colour scheme just doesn't hit the same! The top is so cute though, I love it!!!!

And, uhhhhhhh, thats it :) If you made it to the end of this, thank you, I am incredibly impressed!!! Anyway, the clothes in Control are incredible, and this is only Jesse's outfits, there's so many other amazing clothes in this game!!! Like genuinely, the commitment to fashion in Control is incredibly important to me, and will always be one of the things I love most about this game!!!!

Thoughts on My Adventures with Superman S2 episode 8

This is Looking to be a Scary one folks, Idk about you but I'm kinda afraid of what's going to happen because judging from the title "The Death of Clark kent" it looks like we're going to be Definitely seeing either an Evil Superman or Clark losing what makes him who he is, His humanity

Ok So from this line "Your death, will be the rebirth of krypton" It looks like we're definitely going to be seeing the death of what makes him Clark Kent, his humanity, yeah Definitely an Evil Superman is happening; Also can we Not talk about this line "Now Let's find your weaknesses, So I can kill you" Yeah this Show is officially awesome, that fact that they literally had the guts to put that line in a quote unquote "Kids show" is completely mind blowing, Kinda reminds me of how when we used to have TV shows like that back in day, back of when they weren't afraid to show or Say stuff like that because they Knew we could handle it, gives me hope that we maybe could see more stuff like that in the Future

Omg they're so Cute together UwU!! I love how Mallah and Brain Give Jimmy the room and then we just have lois being Salty as she literally Ruins the moment with her Angry ass, like read the room Lois Now's not the time; Also can we talk about how cute the relationship is between Kara and Jimmy, the fact that Jimmy seriously claimed to be the 1 to steal the ship just to See Kara is so sweet and I love he always excuses her for her actions, like despite everything that happened on Earth between her Attacking and kidnapping Superman, he still chooses to defend her and gives her the benefit of the doubt, like it shows how much he seriously whole heartily belives in her, and Still has hope for her, Seeing her not as an invader but Rather the girl he Spent the day and had Ice cream with, it just shows how much he loves her and only really wanted to see her again, like the mission IS about Saving Clark, but it's also about Seeing Kara again; Also the fact that Kara Still refuses to Still see the truth about how Evil Brainiac is and tries to defend it as he's"Malfunctioning" just shows how naive she really is, and doesn't want to accept the fact that Brainiac is even capable of this, it really shows much he has really manipulated her, I feel so bad 🥺

I'm Loving the callbacks to last season with him reliving his memories and seeing all the battles he's fought, Showing us how much he's went through from last season, Also I love how how his "last minute strength" comes from him protecting his loves one's AKA lois and Jimmy because he doesn't want anything to happen to them, also the fact that we're literally getting an episode like this kinda reminds of that 1 spectacular spider man episode where peter was trying to fight the symbiote while being shown his memories, did anyone else get that feeling? No? Just me

Aaaaahhh!! My heart I can't take it Anymore, Please Just kiss each other you 2 already, Omg Please let them be together by the end of this season PLEASE!! 😖😖😫 (also it must be so handy to have super speed, especially when you Need to run away in embarrassment ^^)

Wow this is Sad, the fact that she's literally had this conversation before and doesn't even remember show's how much Brainiac has wiped her memory, like this isn't even maybe the 1st time she's rebelled against him, Showing that she was never even like this to begin with, and that she never even agreed with what he was doing, it's an amazing way to show how Evil Brainiac is, and that he never really cared about Kara in the 1st place but just saw her as a weapon he can use in the end , Gotta say I Really HATE this guy, Definitely not dad of the year material if I say so myself

Awwaaaah!! >_< I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH, This shows that No matter what Universe or iteration they're in, lois and clark will always be together and will forever be 1 of the best iconic couples in comic book history, Also yeah! Eff you Brainiac for trying to manipulate our boys memories

Damn this man really knows how to manipulate someone the fact that he really knows what will make Clark Break, while also manipulating his memories shows how good of a villian he is and I really love how he just lurks over his shoulder as he's doing this, the dude is a Master manipulator

Nah did they seriously just hit us the Uno reverse card, making us think that he actually broke free and made it back to earth, like I Knew something was up the minute he defeated him too easily and made it back that fast, with No kara in sight mind you, like they really thought they had us for a second ^^; Also is it me or is this really unsettling for some reason, like Idk what it is but something about this scene just really feels creepy, like I feel like in the Next episode they're going to be talking and acting "robotic" if ya know what I mean, part of this episode is also giving a familiar vibe I had when watching an episode of Justice league where Superman was trapped in his own mind as well by a mysterious Squid like Creature that would just show him a false reality where he would have a life a krypton if it didn't blow up, wait a minute, that episode had Something called the Black Mercy too....OMG THEY'RE LITERALLY DOING THAT

Well looks like I was right about the Evil Superman sadly, it's a good thing we still got that Kryptonite right 😥😥

Alright 2 things, Nah he's disrespectful for hitting moves like that, Effing parying and weaving like if this is Child's play is Crazy, Also did I just see YELLOW lightning come from Kara's body 👀, that's so cool, so While Clark has Blue lighting she has Yellow lightning Omg that's such an awesome detail to include, can't wait to see how it looks with her Supergirl suit

Dude Brainiac is such a Gaslighter, like I don't believe a Damn he says, that shit about him hesitating and how he "loves" kara is a damn lie, like you literally brainwashed her countless times, made her do things She never wanted to do, and treated her like a weapon, You don't get to call her your daughter after what you did, you're a monster and you always will be; Like this legit textbook gaslighting 101, Step 1: Make you look like the Bad guy; Also there's This: " I love you my daughter" *proceeds to Slam her head in the pavement* 🤣🤣🤣

Wait you mean to tell me that the Kryptonite doesn't work on him!? That Because he's a machine he can just transfer his consciousness into Someone or something else!? BRUH THAT'S CHEEATING!! Also the fact that Jimmy was ready to slide for his girl with Him being the 1 to pull out the Kryptonite is insane, considering he was the 1 against that shit, anyone who says Jimmy Olsen is annoying or the worst character is Effing stupid because WHAAAAT! you better stop playing with my Boy

No modifications she says, We don't need them She says, bruh Lois must be Eating her words right now, without Those modifications her and Jimmy would be dead, if I were mallah and brain I'd ask for an effing apology, also where did Brainiac go, like part of me wants to believe Earth, judging from how he originally wanted to go with Kara and how he literally said last episode of how he wanted to use kal el to help him conquer earth and other planets for the empire, but part of me actually seems suggest that he maybe went somewhere else, considering last season we ended with a failed invasion attempt on Earth, so it would be kinda repetitive if we did the same thing again

Looks like we're going to be seeing another memory episode Next week, and judging from how this episode ended it looks Lois is going to be 1 to bring our boy back, reminding him of who he is and probably bringing back his humanity, considering we saw him as kal at the end rather than Clark, also omg but the imagery for this show is so Creepy, like they don't hold back with these designs at all, like between the Kryptonite and now this, this is starting to become more and more graphic and Dark, and I'm all here for it ^^

Tbh, Not a fan of this design at all, like I Adore the color scheme but as far as everything else, it just looks bad, like why does he have to have his chest and Toes out like only a Psychopath would wear their shit like that, and don't even get me started on that haircut, like this is a super computer and the best you could come up with, WAS THIS!? you're really telling me you thought having your toes out, chest showing, and haircut like that was IN, No Buddy I'm sorry Try again, also WHY ARE YOUR TOES OUT IN THE 1ST PLACE!? 1st mark grayson now this, like is having your toes out the new way of showing how Evil you are? Anyway can't wait for the next episode, hopefully we can get our boy back and Kara and Jimmy can end up together. hopefully (plz god don't let anything bad happen to them Pleeease!!)
