"there we go..." you say, leaning back slightly and letting go of lando's wrist. "you alright?"

"my hands, yes. my ego, however..."

earlier this year, you and lando had agreed to buy one of those adult christmas calendars, one with a new toy or tool for the bedroom every day. so far, you'd gotten a blindfold, a massaging oil, and even a smaller vibrator. and today's present? a pair of sleek, white silk ribbons.

lando had immediately pulled the little strings out of the box, measuring them around your wrists. but you had shook your head, snatching them out of his hands and telling him it was his turn.

he had just cocked an eyebrow at you, assuming you were kidding. but the grin you had worn, one that told him that you were fully serious, had made him chuckle, rolling his eyes. no way, he'd told you, giving you a pat on the head before he leaned down against his pillow again. he had assumed this would be a lost cause for you, because there was no way he was letting you expose him to one of the things he hates.

lando hates a lot of things. number one: he hates not being in control, and he hates it so much.

the fact that he needs to be in control is very well-known in your relationship, and it applies to most situations. he needs to be the one driving, even if you're just going on a short trip to the supermarket; he needs to know who's invited to a dinner party so he can plan ahead; and of course, he feels a need for power in the bedroom.

but you are nothing if not persistent. lando is the very definition of stubborn, sure, but you would not give up on this one.

your boyfriend always thought you must be some kind of witch, because your effect on him is paranormal. the way you bat your eyes at him, your soft touch on his cheek, and your sweet kisses lingering on his lips – they could get him to agree to almost anything. even this, apparently.

since today was a friday, you had gone out for dinner and some drinks tonight before hurrying back home to try out your new present. lando was still a bit hesitant, but your lips pressed against his and your hips brushing his crotch as you sat on his lap on your bed made him give up yet again.

and that's how you find yourselves here, him already stripped out of everything except his boxers, with the sleek white ropes connecting him to the headboard. you twirl the fabric by his right wrist around your finger one final time, smiling at the little bows you've made. "you look so pretty right now," you hum, leaning down a little and tracing a finger along his jaw. "kinda wanna take a picture."

you shake your head, not wanting to bring out your phone and possibly ruin the moment. you smile at the firmness in his voice, pressing a quick peck to his lips. "next time."

lando's chest vibrates with his chuckle. "oh, you think there will be a next time?"

"i know there will, because i'm in charge here."

the retort he was planning gets caught in his throat as your lips meet the side of his neck. he sighs at the feeling of your kisses traveling down to his chest, tongue coming out to lick the skin occasionally. he instinctively tries to grab your hips with his hands, momentarily forgetting about his restraints and letting out an annoyed groan when he's held back. you giggle against him when you hear the ropes snap against the headboard.

"already?" you ask, hands dragging up and down his beautifully tanned skin as your kisses trail even further, meeting the skin of his hipbones, giving both sides equal attention.

you can see how he clenches his fists from the corner of your eyes, knuckles already turning a little white. "i hate this. i really hate this," he mumbles.

"but you like me, don't you?" you counter, sitting back on your heels between his legs and letting your hands find the waistband of his boxers. "let me have my fun."

"great to know one of us is having fun, i guess." you take your time pulling down his underwear, enjoying every second of watching his impatience. when he's finally fully naked, his cock springs up to his stomach, a little precum leaking from him already.

number two: lando hates being teased.

it's something he avoids at all costs, which you learned early in your relationship. he'll give you a stern look and push your hand away when you reach for his thigh during a company dinner; he'll grab your hips to hold you still when you intentionally grind onto him as you sit in his lap; and when you text him revealing pictures when he's away doing something important, he'll turn off his phone rather than let it get to him. it all comes back to his hatred of not being in control – he wants to be the one to tease you, not the other way around. so when you get a chance to tease him and he can't do anything about it, you take it.

speeding up your actions is not something you even consider, and now that lando's hands aren't in your hair to usher you, you take your time. you do, however, push him further into you, letting him hit the back of your throat before pulling entirely off him. when you sink down on him again, he buckles his hips: his way of trying to retake control. your hands find his sides, holding him down as you slide off him, leaning back to look at him as a grin spreads across your lips. "impatient, are we?"

his eyes are scrunched up, head thrown back to show off his thick neck. his muscular chest is heaving for air, already, and his hands are still hanging sloppily from the ropes. you love to see him like this. so weak, so helpless. it's not often that you get to take in this sight, so you savor every second of it.

when he feels the bed rock, lando's eyes shoot open. he watches you climb up from the bed, standing right next to it as you slowly let the sleeves of your dress fall down your shoulders. he does not enjoy the moment as much as he wishes he would, because all he can think of is how much he wishes he was the one sliding the dress down your body; how much he wishes he was the one unclasping your bra; how much he wishes it was his hands dragging your soaked panties to the floor.

you move to straddle his lap, your hips hovering over his as you let his tip nudge your entrance. when you finally descend on him, he bottoms you out so perfectly. you press your hands to his chest, leaning your weight on him as you feel yourself getting stretched out.

number three: lando hates not being able to control the pace.

he's used to driving cars at 300 km/h, for god's sake, so this slow motion-pace you're going at is not ideal for him. he doesn't always need to thrust in and out of you like you only have a minute left to live but regulating the pace is, according to him, one of the perks of being the boyfriend. but not today.

you find a rhythm, bouncing on him like you are in no hurry whatsoever. your lover's moans are muffled and he's seemingly doing his best to not let anything slip out. he doesn't want you to know how much he likes this, despite not being in control.

"don't hold back, baby," you say, thumbs stroking his skin encouragingly. "you're allowed to feel good even when i'm in charge."

and when he finally lets go, the sounds he makes are like music to your ears. his hearty groans send a shiver down your spine and you can't help but pick up the pace a little, needing to hear more. you want to pull every sound and twitch out of him, and if that means going faster, it's a change you're willing to make.

you feel the shudder passing through his body when you clench around him. you know he's close when his heels dig into the mattress and he thrusts into you, trying to make up for lost time. you're almost there, too, and the way you feel all of him pump into you turns your brain into mush.

your nails dig into his chest when you reach your climax, likely leaving indents in his skin. you continue riding him, helping him chase his high, your pulsating insides helping draw it out instantly. when you feel the spurts shooting into you, you collapse against him. he's twitching inside of you, his chest jumping with his breaths, and your fingers reach to brush along the side of his neck to help him come down from his high.

his face is adorned by a soft smile, and it replicates on yours. "are you okay?" he asks, always so caring, and he lets out a breath when you nod.

number four, the most important one: lando hates being unable to hold you.

he hates not being in control of your well-being; he hates not being able to ensure you're okay. he hates not cupping your face in his palms, stroking your cheeks, pulling his fingers through your locks. so, it would be an understatement to say that he was ecstatic when you pulled yourself off him, sat down on his side and started working on undoing the ropes.

his skin shows off a burning red color, and it hasn't occurred to you yet how much he actually must've been itching to touch you. usually, when he ties you up, your skin gets a bit irritated too, sure. but it's not often this bad. "let me get you a lotion for your wrists," you say.

you're practically off the bed already when lando grabs your hand, dragging you onto him again. "later." he pulls your back to his chest and nuzzles his face into your hair, pressing a peck to your scalp. "just wanna hold you right now."

you shake your head at his antics, but take both of his hands into yours. you hold them up to your lips, giving him a few kisses around both of his wrists. "maybe that's better?"

"perfect." his voice is low, arms snaking around your waist to tug you closer. "i think they're completely fine now."

"let me at least get you something in the morning?"

"mmm. shush and sleep now."

A: That's not a very accurate description, Izutsumi is a beastkin who was created using ancient magic by fusing the soul of a 6 year old child with the soul of a cat monster known as a greater cat. She's not "A cat that was turned into a human" nor a "human that was turned into a cat" as my understanding goes she was both and now she's still both, spoilers but the plot twist of the Lycion extra is that she can never be fully human again (there's more monster than human so she can't transform between the forms like Lycion)

A: Probably has something to do with the complexity of the familiar and the strength of the connection, lots of people sent some theories pleas check the familiars tag if you wanna read up.

A: Those are Magic Tattoos, they work as a supplement for magic, I assume similar to magic circles or magic runes they use in other places in the anime, they aren't necessarily only for beastmen

A couple things about Sonic Prime that disappointed me

1. Shadow was in almost the entire trailer, but showed up for 3 out of the 7 episodes

2. An action scene that lasted for three episodes. It got redundant

3. There was an entire plot point where Sonic was dying from the prism energy being taken from him. This took 3 minutes of screen time and the risk felt minimal if it was there at all

4. No consequences = no stakes (literally there was no issue or "sacrifice" that came out of repairing the prism. Idk what i was hoping for, but the fact that everything was so easily fixed kinda hurt my feelings because it made the entirety of season 2 seem completely pointless and dumb)

5. Shadow was super protective of Sonic in the first episode, but never showed that same "Would kill and die for you in a seconds notice" energy he had in that first episode

6. The chaos emerald is mentioned again but never used as a plot point. Chekov's Gun is fake, apparently

7. It's said that Sonic can't exist in the Shatterspace without prism energy, but Shadow never had it in the first place. There is no provided explanation as to why this makes sense. The closest thing was "shadow wasn't there during the blast" but that only explains why he doesn't have the energy, not why he doesn't need it to live like Sonic does (I assume the others have at least a signature of it too which is why they cloned and Shadow didn't. Again this is unexplained in Prime. What does the prism energy even do for/to the supporting cast)

8. Why are there only 7 episodes? Why do they take up so much time in one place?

9. Rouge and Shadow only had one line of dialogue (this isn't a genuine critique I just wanted to see my favorite duo be a duo)

10. Sonic's Prism "Super Form" doesn't come back. Shadow doesn't get anything like that either. Another dud Chekov Gun. Why is this dumb little anecdotal metaphorical firearm never firing

I really loved the new season, and it was great and super fun, but those critiques really ruined some things because those were all things I thought would be a guarantee because of the trailer and because of how the other seasons were.

Why would they even bother to mention the chaos emerald, and this weird void thing if it wasn't going to be essential to the plot other than being an excuse to sideline Shadow. They could have just as easily said that chaos energy is neutralized in cyberspace because it's not connected to the world/chaos/master emerald. That works too!

Plus, why was Shadow sidelined so much? What's the reason? Why wasn't he allowed to use chaos energy and go apeshit? Why couldn't he take off his inhibitor rings in a desperate situation to protect Sonic and be able to teleport into shatterspaces even at the expense of his health?

I know it's a TV-Y7 show. It honestly did not need to be, but I'm sure it was a Netflix mandate to make sure their animation is all meant for kids and only kids, but they really ended up nerfing themselves by alienating their more passionate audience which would be teenagers and adults. Just make it TV PG that would've allowed you to work with higher stakes and a higher budget (oh wait that's what Netflix's intention was nevermind).

If you wanna see me make a list of things I genuinely liked, feel free to ask or comment that. I might do so anyway. I feel like the internet is too negative and critiques of shows tend to do too much of that, so sorry for contributing to that culture, but I really needed to get that disappointment out because it bothered me quite a bit. Feel free to disagree too, or say "bro it's a kids show. It's not that deep. Stop having passion and emotions for your special interests you dumb fuck" I get it. Anyways, good show, good season, highly recommend, it's very fun and enjoyable especially if you're a fan of Sonic

Last minute edit: I only saw the season once and my sense of media literacy isn't by any means perfect, and also, to clarify, most of my concern isn't quite "these plot points are 1000% absent and terrible" and more "I thought the distribution between the action scene in episodes 4-7 and the rest of the season's story was very poor and made the content I was more excited for seem watered down/unplanned/super easily resolved". Again the part of the show where Sonic almost dies because of the prism energy withdrawal was about 3 minutes long. Why did it feel so low-stakes?? I love action scenes. They're great, but when you dedicate over 30 minutes to one long fight scene, it becomes less interesting and there's still MORE OF THE SHOW TO GET THROUGH so those parts got super rushed

I may sound insane but I as well say “Hello / hi” to Genshin characters one time because I wanted them to feel welcomed??? I’m kind of new to this shit so I stole my friend’s phone to say hi to them 💀💀 this is such a cute request overall, Nahida is such a baby 💔💔

Teyvat is protective of their creator no matter what gender they’re specified with;; however, it seems that you favor Nahida more than others— Most likely as if you made her to actually be your related child. Nahida was hesitant and shy at first, but over the time when she thought about it, she couldn’t help but feel so free and blessed with such a humble God mother/father figure like you.

You’re protective, even if it’s the traveller and Paimon… You still warned them to make sure that Nahida stays secured and safe. Everyone in different nations although takes this request far too seriously- that at this point, Nahida feels rather isolated. Though she knew you never meant any harm, how could she ever assume you would? She’s a wise sweet little girl, humble as you even, she honestly could see the connection of being your child. Literally.

But, that of course makes other children jealous… NPC children would most likely have different voice lines when it comes to Nahida too— which is basically in Sumeru city, and, I guess the Archons has to be checked 24/7 all of the sudden? Confused as you are, you weren’t displeased with it, you felt… Happy actually. Happy that people are acknowledging Nahida. (Although they’re fighting over who gets to be Nahida’s other parent)

Alhaitham especially would have some rooms prepared for Nahida, like, y’know, if she’s tired in a middle of nowhere— there’ll always be a house nearby her area, her spot. The followers of you would be cooking food nonstop for the little child, hoping that she’s willing to test their taste. After all, only she knows what you love in a guy/girl ~!

Oh oh, and since you did say you want someone to also protect Nahida during a quest— Nahida will be bawling her eyes out and ugly cry. (Pretty cry actually) People will be freaking out of why the fuck is shE EVEN CRYING— The NPCs will all baby her and, treasure hoarders? They won’t even get the chance to lay a finger on her because of the Archons killing them off. (Not like you know 😻)

Nahida would be an absolute troll however. Yes, she is sweet and always devoted to drop the entire lore to help people out— (For example she dropped the entire shit lore to Aether / Lumine) But she is heavily LOYAL to her mother/father figure.

Imagine Dottore especially trying to talk it out with her since they did sort of have a conversation beforehand. So he thought it’s only fair he becomes her dad, by marrying you right? HAHAHA, wrong. Nahida is truly worried and overprotective of you, despite being just a kid version of her Archon self. She will lie, telling things to the Fatui doctor what you did not like.

And this has gone on for so long, it’s absolutely hilarious. Especially for Sumeru as they see this as an attempt to bring their divine being closer to them.

But the thing is, you’re not that expressive— you’re just existing and trying to live on while babying Nahida who just sobs into your affection. Girlie never got so much, so it was truly a blessing to have herself in your care.

And talking about Sages, just imagine Enjou overall having troubles with trying to get to you. All because of Sages 💀 look, if mans wanna get your forgiveness, better as well protect Nahida from the half monster hybrid looking ass hot man. Enjou is in so much misery… (Cue CPR)

Also, can we just appreciate how caring you are? No, it’s not only for Nahida you’re just caring for— it’s not even the reason she’s so loyal to you. (Well, it is but still) The true reason is, is because you keep saying “Hello” and “Bye” to them everyday, no matter how tiring it might get.

I think Diluc would especially love this since uhm, well, his dad ain’t here y’know y’know. (Or any traumatized character really)

i was giggling so hard as i wrote this - mostly just a stupid silly borderline crack fic idk i thought this idea was hilarious

You'd seen him around here before. He was strange. Too chatty. Probably had mommy issues. A smooth talker, but emphasis on the talking part.

And now he sat next to you. His eyes slightly squint, a translucent brown liquid in his cup that sloshed around when he sat. He leaned onto the bar, giving you a grin. He had dark hair, and a scar over his eye.

"Howdy, sweetpea. You look lonely," he hummed, using a charming tone to complement his already rugged voice. "What're you drinkin'?"

You glanced at your drink, picking it up and finishing it off. "Nothing now. You wanna buy me a drink?" You chuckled, and he smirked, clearly a fan of your attitude. He offered a shrug, sipping from his own drink as he waved down the bartender.

"Two scotch, thanks," he requested, and you narrowed your eyes for just a moment before easing up and giving him a polite grin.

"And what might your name be?" You asked.

"Johnny. Yours?"

"I'll tell you after a few more drinks," you teased, and Johnny quirked up an eyebrow. "What's a hunk like you doing in a bar like this?"

"Same thing a pretty girl like you is doing in a shithole like this," he responded, and your smile grew. This was going to be fun.

You gave him a once-over; he was bulky, his arms were double the width of yours thanks to trained muscles, and you assumed he was likely a rancher. Despite the lack of good lighting in the bar, you could make out a few scars on his biceps, and that only reassured your assumptions about him.

A rancher, or a farmer; maybe a hunter. Had his fair share of experiences with rowdy animals or dangerous tools. Probably had his fair share of encounters with women, too. The gentle, drunk kinds of women. Maybe a good Christian girl here and there; clearly he was a native of Texas, his accent told you that much.

Maybe he lived in a desolate farmhouse, far from civilization. Big yards for his gardening and livestock needs. Probably lived off the land. Came into town every few weeks for a bar and a good time...

Wasn't well-known. Didn't have a lot of connections. Wouldn't be missed too dearly...

"You come here often? Feel like I've seen yer face 'round here 'fore," he commented, and you blinked a few times, offering a soft smile.

"Gosh, don't call out my bad habits like that. That's no way to win a girl over," you replied, gently nudging his arm with your elbow.

He smirked at the response, swishing the drink in his hand. "Wouldn't do it if I wasn't the same. Nothin' personal," he chuckled, finishing off his glass as the bartender presented two new servings. You scooted one towards you, and he did the same.

"Guess you and I are kindred spirits then, hm? What are you drinking to forget?" You asked, eyeing his glass. He didn't pick it up immediately, so neither did you. He looked off in the distance, seeming to remember something, and you debated making a move.

"Past mistakes. Future mistakes," he grunted, finally reaching down and picking up his glass, watching the liquid as it rippled. "You?"

"Nothing. Not really here for the drinks. More so for the company," you hummed, picking up your own drink and taking a sip. "Not that I'm complaining about getting both. And for free, no less. What a gentleman."

Johnny smirked, setting his drink back down again, not yet taking a drink. "So long as it's worth my while, I don't mind. Though I doubt a girl like you needs company like mine, eh?"

"Oh, don't be so humble. I'm sure you know better than to underestimate yourself," you teased, watching the way he ran his fingers through his hair as though combing his mind for something. He turned, looking behind himself as someone bumped into him, and you took the opportunity to lean forward and sprinkle a thin powder into his drink.

You managed to recoil before he looked back at you, and your hand was back on your drink, staring at the shelves of expensive bottles behind the bar. He let out a quiet sigh, shaking his head. "We both know what we're here for. You got somewhere important to be t'morrow?"

You resisted the urge to smirk, and you gave a soft shake of your head. "Nah. You?"

"Psh, nothin' of the sort. How 'bout you and me get outta here? Tired of wastin' time," he confessed, and you pursed your lips, biting the inside of your lip. With a glance to his drink, you motioned towards it.

"You gonna drink? Don't want that to go to waste," you asked, and he looked at his glass, presenting a small, unsure frown. You finished off your drink in an attempt to encourage him, but he didn't quite seem willing to budge.

"Ain't that thirsty. Got a fine, tall glass of water right in front of me," Johnny flirted, and you gave him a sheepish giggle, feigning flattery.

"Guess those mistakes aren't so troubling after all, huh?" You hummed, and he seemed to shift a bit, slightly uncomfortable with your words. Thankfully, it urged him to take a sip, a small one, but a sip nonetheless, before he stood up and placed a few dollars down on the bar.

"C'mon, darlin', let's go. No better way to forget mistakes than to make new ones," he chuckled, returning to his charming persona as he offered a hand. Well, something was better than nothing. You took his hand and slid off of the barstool, following him out to his truck.

"You wanna come back to my place?" You asked, and Johnny contemplated it for a moment, but shook his head.

"Ain't very polite to go to the lady's house. How 'bout you come back to mine? Promise it'll be worth the trip," he responded, gently pulling you closer to him and tilting your chin to look up at him. You bat your eyelashes, wearing an innocent smile.

"I'm not sure I can wait. You've got somethin' special, some kinda charm. Gets girls excited, y'know? Maybe it's the scars," you teased, tracing a finger down his chest.

"Yeah? You gettin' ahead of yourself, pumpkin?" He murmured, leaning down until your lips were less than an inch apart. "My seats go back. Know a couple of good, secluded spots..."

You smirked, brushing your mouth against him as you whispered out a response. "Ain't very 'polite' of you to be so forward, prince Charming," you hummed, and you felt his grip on your chin tighten ever so slightly.

"Somethin' tells me you prefer the impoliteness. Gonna give you the night of your life," he laughed almost sinisterly, and you dialed back your smirk to a more gullible smile. You leaned back on you feet, dropping his hand and walking around the truck to the passenger side, where you climbed in as he started the car.

He only got about eight or nine minutes away from the bar before he pulled over on a dark back road, and you smirked, realizing your plan was coming to fruition. Sure, he was a lot bigger than you, but you were going to be on top. And he was clearly cocky; confident men were the easiest to beat.

You didn't waste any time in crawling over his console and sitting in his lap, one hand on his chest as you leaned down and met his lips. He tasted like scotch; clearly, he'd already been drinking before he sat down next to you. That made things easier. One of his hands sat on your hips, and you could feel how calloused his fingers were from where they rested on your skin above your jeans. His other hand was in your hair, keeping you pulled down into the kiss.

You hummed against his lips, slowly rolling your hips and earning a restrained, amused grunt from the man. Your hand traced down his shirt, sneaking underneath the fabric and pulling it upwards, revealing a well-trained set of abs littered with small scars and patches.

His hand does the same to your shirt, though it's already cropped enough to show skin, and then the weight of his palm leaves your hip. You assume he's going for his belt, and you take the opportunity to reach into your back pocket and...

Both of you tense up as you feel blades pressed against one another's throats, and you stare at each other like you've been insulted. He has a long, slightly curved blade pressed against your carotid artery, and you have a switchblade poking at the underside of his jaw.

There's not even a breath that's exchanged. Just glares. Awkward blinks. Not a muscle is moved, but it's not due to fear. It's not due to intimidation.

It's due to confusion.

And then, you both decide you've had enough.

Simultaneously, as if it had been tirelessly rehearsed, you ask one another; "Are you trying to kill me?"

And then there's more silence. The metal is still against your skin, and his, tightly enough to keep one another unmoving. And then you both, slowly, retract your knives, lowering them.

"You tried to kill me," he remarked, and you scoffed.

"You were going to kill me?"

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Johnny asked, and you gasped, giving him a dumb blink.

"I thought you wanted to have sex!" You exclaimed.

"I thought you wanted to have sex."

"Dude, I'm a murderer," you confessed, tilting your head and shaking it at him.

"I'm a cannibal," he replied, and you blinked.

"Goddamn. Could've fooled me."

"I can't- You really just tried killin' me? That... that is a first. Usually it's after I kidnap 'em that I get knives to my throat."

"You kidnap them before killing them?" You asked, and he nodded. "That's so much extra effort."

"Easier to hide evidence."

"You eat them. That's class A evidence destroying."

"You're a murderer?" He asked again, and you nodded.

"I thought you were just some desperate rancher."

"You had me thinkin' you were just another careless city girl," he answered, shaking his head.

There were a few more moments of silence as the two of you thought over what the hell just happened. And then you put your knife back into your pocket, and he set his in his console.

"Wanna..."

"Have sex?" You asked.

"Yeah."

"Sure."

Trina splits off from Miquella, as Radagon came from Marika. But why?

Also why was Godfrey and those who became Tarnished stripped of their grace? why would they be banished from their home? did they commit some sort of blasphemy against the Erdtree/Golden Order/Fingers or whatever? why were they called back?

Did Marika manage to extend grace back to the Tarnished with the purpose of using us to free her from her divine prison? Why else would a literal god have us come back to the land we were banished from with the purpose of becoming Elden Lord, which requires us to collect all the runes to put the Elden Ring back together, which in turn necessitates the killing of all of Marika's children. She must have known that they wouldn't just give up the runes willingly. Why is Radagon the one fighting us? Was he created by the Outer Gods that sent the Elden Beast as a counter for Marika's rebellion?

I saw someone's theory being that she had to kill him because he'd be her consort, but... idk I can't remember all the details. I guess maybe he wouldn't go along with her plan. but if she killed her physical body anyway then why would Godwyn being alive matter?

I guess would there ever be a need to pluck a rune out of it? change the rules of reality a bit? it seems kind of... risky, to have divinity and control over reality/the world/all of life somewhere in the material world where potentially anyone who was determined and skilled enough could reach it and enact their own will upon it. yk, how we can have different endings based on the allies we make. It's like, okay, here's god and I can just kill all of her children, and then her, and set fire to all that is holy in order to put together this all-powerful artifact that can then change the future of literally everyone and nature itself to whatever I want.

This, again, about the little snippets that we have from the director's notes from that graphic novel and also some lyrics.

I always assumed that Vessel is a bit like me and that he has a strange knowing. This knowing is about this incarnation being the last one of its kind. Something will end but I don't know when and also when I say that something will end I mean this in a positive way.

What do I know for sure?! Not much?!

I had a vision in 2016 and I never knew what to do with it. I saw myself surrounded by hmmm how do I say this “galactics”, all kinds of beings such as fairies and angels and I watched them heal my physical body and also my energetic body. This felt so real as if it was something that I remembered. It felt familiar.

I never thought about that ever again.

“My redemption, eternal ascension setting me free”

Then I started hearing all kinds of things about “ascension”. Everyone explains this in a different way and also there is so much weird stuff on the YouTubes and everywhere. So I'm trying to explain this in my own words, because they feel right.

In my opinion / perception this is something that can be see like a giant enlightenment. So many humans remember their true self and therefore their power and become enlightened. This has a ripple effect because we are all connected (“quantum entaglement if you are interested in that). Everyone who gets enlightened causes other humans to have the same experience. And then one day the whole planet follows.

That's how I see this in my own words. Maybe that makes sense. Maybe not....

Anyway we are returning Eden. No one takes you back to Eden, we are taking ourselves back to Eden. Eden to me is home. The home that I miss so much. It's a frequency or a state of being. Everything is in harmony again.

And everything else?! Idk....I assume this will happen within the blink of an eye but shortly before it will look as if the sky will fall down on us.

Ascension does set us free again because we were trapped on this planet. But that's a whole different story.

So when Vessel sings how ascencion and how it sets him free...I can only think that this can be applied to all of us.

911 7x09 speculation based on the stills

ok im gonna do this thing for fun where i try to predict the order of events of 911 7x09 from the stills that were released bc there were MANY and im just trying to figure out how they are gonna fit everything into the episode. obviously everything is going to be under a readmore.

for clarity's sake, it is 11pm pst on 5/22, the episode airs tomorrow 5pm pst, so the sneak peek clip into the episode has not been released yet.

and i will come back to this post later to see how close i got. there are definitely going to be scenes where i got their order relatively to each other in the same storyline, but maybe the way they intersect with the other storylines could be offbase.

we are most likely missing scenes to have full context of everything, but this is the closest i think i can get to without having seen any sneak peeks or anything else. feel free to let me know what yall think!

1. 911 call

i think we are going to begin with a cold open of a call, just like many other episodes. from the pictures released, there's only one known call, so i'm not 100% sure that it's going to be the first one.

if the call is actually in the middle of the episode, then the first scene would be:

2. the award ceremony

it makes sense to have it happen earlier rather than later because it sets up both bobby's and hen's storylines (and also im assuming eddie's)

it's probably gonna begin with a few speeches and then a sequence of scenes happening around the same time.

3. athena and maddie

athena and maddie celebrating their husbands' medals (with a quick emphasis on bobby's convo in the corner and maybe athena's reaction)

4. henren + surprise guest

hen and karen and their kids also celebrating, but then this guest actress character shows up and somehow affects the whole adoption storyline (911 instagram earlier posted stills from 7x02 where the son of a councilwoman died while hen was interim captain, so im assuming it's either the councilwoman or her agent). this scene could also take place later within the sequence, maybe right before we switch to another location.

5. buck, eddie, christopher, and marisol

a quick moment with buck, eddie, christopher, and marisol. maybe there is a line that directly addresses eddie's lie in a dramatic irony kind of way, like the audience knows what's going on but the other characters don't.

6: henren and tommy

not sure if henren and tommy talking happens before hen's storyline or after and whether it happens before the buck/eddie scene or after. also would be interested to see if this scene is tommy apologizing for past behavior (it was implied offscreen). or maybe it's some kind of a mlm wlw conversation. or maybe even some kind of "if you hurt him we hurt you" conversation. IF this happens after the buck/eddie scene, then maybe tommy asks henren about the nature of that relationship and buck's connection to chris. basically, idk if it's gonna be a conversation about buck or not, but chances are, it is.

7. back at the grant-nash house

this scene was in the promo. basically, bobby still has a lot of survivor guilt and doesn't like being called a hero. athena is worried. the ad break probably happens right after here.

8. eddie and kim's date

absolutely zero idea how this is going to go. kim might do something that is very shannon-like, or maybe she does the total opposite. they might get caught, they might now. actually, i think it is too early in the episode for the secret to be fully revealed, but there is a chance that buck might run into them, and so maybe they have an awkward scene. we are promised a buck x kim scene, but it's unclear if it's gonna happen in this episode or next.

9. hen figuring out the adoption issues

(unsure if the meeting with madney is gonna happen before the first still or not, but im assuming after.)

hen is disappointed with some kind of bureaucratic bullshit she is being put through, so she needs advice.

10. athena seeks out amir's help

in the promo, athena is at the hospital when she says that bobby needs help. amir also has survivor guilt, so it's smart for athena to ask him.

it's cut closely with a scene with henren and madney, but it's definitely a misdirection. the way that athena says it, im assuming there is an ad break or a scene switch right after.

11. henren and madney figuring out the adoption stuff

they are making a plan!

WILDCARD: marisol and christopher

okay so these pics were posted a while ago so i'm assuming they are for these episode, even though there is a chance it's for the finale.

this scene could be happening closer to the end of the episode, but i feel like it might be a scene where eddie actually has marisol babysitting christopher because he's out with kim. or something like that. like i think maybe here we have marisol suspecting something? now, the second pic does look like it's in a hospital, so MAYBE it's not from this episode, but we'll see.

12. amir and athena

they are continuing their previous conversation outside.

13. firehouse

next day? later same day? hen is working on the documents. probably some kind of thematically important conversation with bobby. transitions into:

a fun little sequence of the 118 crew working together to make a meal and then enjoy it together. very much a bobby focus. maybe he's considering finally retiring?

14. more henren and madney

later that day, i'm assuming. the bottom image has somebody in the right corner, and i'm assuming it's karen, sharing an update on the situation.

15. amir, athena, and bobby at athena and bobby's place

not sure if the images are in the correct order, but i'm assuming that the plot here is that bobby shows up in the house as athena is talking to amir, so bobby finds out they've been working together behind his back.

16. eddie and christopher

this conversation seems very important. the bottom pic makes me feel like it's closer to the end of the episode than the beginning. i think eddie either realizes something here or at the very least decides to do something, as he's reminded that christopher is the most important person and he shouldn't hurt him.

17. buck and ...?

same as with the previous scene, the bottom pic makes me think it's in the end of the episode. could be a scene with tommy? maybe it's them breaking it off, or maybe just having an important conversation. buck does look like he's experiencing Something.

(there IS a chance that this scene happens before the eddie and christopher one. maybe it's between buck and eddie.)

18. the fire

okay so there IS a chance that this fire is a dream. if it is, i'm assuming it happens in the beginning of the episode, like a cold open instead of the 911 call. BUT... i think it's in the end of the episode. i think the fire is how the episode ends, and that's how bobby ends up in the hospital in the finale.

i'm still thinking about her backstory and trying to connect things BUT HERE'S SOME BASIC INFO ABOUT HER 👉🏼👈🏼

nina wasn't born a werewolf. she was attacked while sneaking out with her friends in the middle of the night. her friends managed to flee and go for help, but she was left alone with the wolf.

the werewolf that turned her was a man temporarily staying in her village. he was never caught and it's assumed that she was attacked by normal wolves or coyotes despite her friends' account of that night.

her life in pelican town is a lot more mundane. even 10 years later she's still trying to cope with being a werewolf, even though she's adjusted well, and she lives in an isolated cabin to avoid her secret being exposed or any wolf instincts that she hasn't fully suppressed

nina isn't a farmer, but she does grow some things in pots and raised beds. she mainly helps the shop owners out with repairs, heavy lifting, deliveries, and just any other thing they need help with. she's willing to do farm work too if you ask her, but she has to leave before it gets dark on nights when the moon is full.

she has huge scratch scars on her back and torso from the attack. she also has one on her face

nina is stoic and a woman of few words, but she's very sweet once she feels comfortable opening up. she laughs easily and desperately wants to make her friends happy. her love languages are giving gifts and acts of service :'-)

she's nervous when it comes to physical affection. she gives those half hugs at first, but she's a really good hugger once she's comfortable...it's the muscles...

the children are the ones that call her nini. some of the townspeople (haley, jodi, sam, evelyn) have picked up that nickname for her as well. she doesn't mind.

she's surprisingly good at baking, mostly bread. if you get close enough, you can sometimes smell the scent of fresh bread coming from her cabin.

nina is a member of the adventurers guild. marlon and gil like having her around and she can often be found down in the mines. she prefers clubs over swords and even uses her own hands to take some monsters out.

she's usually alone at festivals. her favorite is the moonlight jellies.

Has anyone posted screenshots for the teaser video the sims team posted for this "season" of upcoming releases?

I'm cleaning up my cc right now so I'm going to break it down. Speculation below the cut! Feel free to reply with your own thoughts because this teaser has kind of stumped me in some ways ngl... but I have theories!

Jewelry box theme, so I think "jewelry" will be important to this "season." I'm unsure how that ties in, perhaps the stuff pack? (More on that later.) Either way, I think we can all safely assume that it's the big selling feature of this season.

Already got those obviously: Goth Galore and Castle Estate. Moving on!

SDX drops are kind of wildcards - they don't usually cover just one kind of thing. In this pic though I'm a bit complexed by the "W," mannequin head, and Bella-style bodycon dress. Not sure what they're going to give us, but the last few SDX drops for basegame have actually been great, so I'm hopeful it's more than one or two things. I'll always take free stuff!

First thought is could be a new skill like gem cutting/jewelry crafting with an accompanying career, but that seems niche to me idk why!! But with the theme of this entire teaser being so jewelry-focused, I have to believe that the stuff pack is going to be jewelry related in some way (it's the largest thing on this list, so it makes sense that the teaser would mostly be connected to the most profitable item.)

I do want to say this: although I really don't think they would make fairies a stuff pack (sorry to my fellow occult lovers and TS3 Fairies enjoyers... I know you all have been wanting fairies so bad) HOWEVER!!! I will admit that the spooky all-seeing-eyes in the earrings, the gnome, the color palette, the crystals, the butterfly necklace in the header... it's giving nature/fairies/magic. Guess we'll see! 🤷‍♀️

Hmmmmm this feels so straight forward that it's going over my head somehow. We have luxury party, we have wedding stories, toddler and backyard stuff have a lot of great "party" items, seasons gives us a ton of seasonal party items... what could this give us that has to do with celebrations that aren't already covered? Birthday stuff maybe? That might be fun, but I am not sure what to expect from this kit.

I'm going to controversially say this though: I like build kits. If we get even one new activity from this kit and some good clutter that's reusable with good swatches, I'll happily buy this one. Birthdays might be one of the only type of celebration we have next to nothing for, so I don't think I'd be upset with getting a kit for general celebrations (graduation parties, for example) and birthdays. Plus the disco ball swatch is kind of silly but could be exciting!

No idea what this could be, but more than likely it seems like it will be a CAS kit that is a collab with one of two people: either a gamechanger/big cc creator in the community OR another collaboration with a brand or company (like we saw with Moschino stuff or Depop in HSY).

What do you all think? I'd love to hear thoughts and feelings on this teaser and when/in what order you guys think things are going to be released!!

Opinion on the fact Sam and Colby have not unfollowed Wilbur Soot? I'm seeing multiple people very angry and disappointed in them for that.

Plus a lot of people seem to think they should speak on Palestine for some reason? They're ghost hunters, don't force them to speak on something they know nothing about people.

i'm gonna have some unpopular takes, so just a heads up to a lot of ppl. if you don't agree, totally fine. but i'm not hear to argue on this bc this is just how i feel.

first off, fuck wilbur. he's a dick. that being said, i give literally no shits whatsoever if snc are following him. for one thing, it's not like snc are besties with the guy. they collabed once, and then almost literally never mentioned that collab again. not to mention, snc have never been one to follow the train of "unfollow this person right now" so idk why this fandom thinks things are gonna be different this time around.

What are your predictions on which team will go against with which team in 3rd DRB? (while assuming we would get some new info during the first round of battle) ( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ )

Jesus, idk. Let me see.

Based on how the last DRB was conducted, while every team is given a compelling reason to win in the drama tracks leading up to the DRB so that their victory will have a satisfying narrative payoff, it seems like one team may have a stronger narrative focus overall. We saw that last time with Fling Posse having higher stakes than the rest of the cast, with one of the characters' lives being threatened. (Naturally, while Ramuda living or dying didn't have anything to do with the DRB itself, dropping information that continually increased the tension in the several-year leadup prior to voting almost certainly influenced many fans to vote a certain way, especially those without prior strong feelings towards any particular team.) Similarly, the previous winning team in the second DRB (Matenrou) was given a less DRB-centric focus in their narrative, probably in an effort to reduce the chances of two successive MTR victories in a row and the backlash that would invariably cause from non-MTR fans. Neither Doppo nor Hifumi's character development had any sort of emotional tie to the DRB, and Jakurai's was loosely connected at best, with his emotional stake in the DRB being dependent on him giving it his best effort, not winning outright or even beating Hitoya.

So with that in mind, I assume FP will take more of a narrative back seat and will probably be paired up against a weaker-performing team to give that team's sales a beast, and that team will likely be BAT or DH. I say weaker-performing in terms of sales, which is largely dependent on these two being newer teams. I think DH generally sells better (overall, not necessarily in DRB results) than BAT by stint of Sasara's popularity, so I see FP vs BAT being the most likely. In terms of the in-series reasoning behind this, because there always needs to be some beef, I'm going to assume it has to do with Ramuda working for Chuuouku and his involvement in ruining Kuukou and Ichirou's friendship in TDD. But to be frank, everyone in 1gumi has at least a somewhat valid reason to have beef with Ramuda, so this isn't set in stone.

In terms of who will likely take narrative preference, I think MTC makes the most sense in terms of its strong sales in Japan (esp. because many of its fans are adult women with salaries, as opposed to the stronger teen demographics in other division fan groups) and lead-up to a high-stake plotline. With the hinting of a future Nemu and Samatoki showdown, Juuto's beef with many of the current and ex-Chuuouku leaders, and Riou's plans to break his major out of prison, they seem like the most currently plot heavy of the bunch outside of FP. So I think we'll likely get a strong focus on them and, to help ensure a chance at a victory, pair them up against a lesser-performing team. This could either be BAT or DH, as I mentioned above, but DH makes the most sense (and also frees up BAT for FP) as there's a natural source of tension between Sasara and Samatoki. Likewise, both BB and MTR are unlikely to be chosen due to already featuring in prior line-ups.

This leaves BB and MTR against one another, which I also see as a very likely option considering they were pitted against one another in the Grasshopper arc post-first DRB which came out before DH and BAT officially joined Hypmic. I have a suspicion that MTR vs BB was originally planned (note that, in this same arc, FP and MTC were pitted together, and this gives the justification for why Juuto and Riou are wanting to/willing to fight Gentarou and Dice) and quietly left on the cutting room floor when the last two teams were added. With this set-up already in place, there's nothing stopping the writing team from using it now. Also, with BB's high sales in the last DRB, this is another way to curtail another MTR victory, although I think this is less of a priority for KR than a repeat FP victory as it'd inspire less fan backlash.

This is all speculation, so don't quote me if it turns out to be horribly wrong.

Hello! My week has been great thank you for asking :) Sorry that it took me so long to write your request 😅

I made these in to HC since you weren't too specific on what scenario i sould write, so sorry if this isn't what you were asking :(

Anyway, since I'm dumb feel free to correct my mistakes if I get anything wrong :)

To start things off the first encounter with Hunter and how he acts around you depends on what the scenario is

If he met you in a forest in your non basilisk form he would freak out and run away. Since, well you're a basilisk

But if he met you in the Noceda household he wouldn't be as scared

Yes he would still be very cautious around you but he'll warm up to you pretty quickly

Since we kind of know how exactly the hexsquad reacted the first time they saw Vee, assuming that Luz already told them about Vee when they were still in the Boiling Isles, let's make things easier for me and just say that you never appeared during the time that Luz was in the mirror world (idk how else to call it)

So the hexsquad would be pretty surprised but seeing Vee and Mrs Noceda so calm around you makes them somewhat relax

They would still be on edge for the most part but they will learn to warm up to you

Now back to Hunter

He would be extremely cautious around you, since he clearly remembers Luz only mentioning only one basilisk

So expect the cold shoulder around him and always feeling eyes on you when you knew no one was around for at least two weeks or so

The more Hunter inspects you the more he feels amazed

As we know Hunter is a huge nerd and he probably came across a book about creatures such as basilisk's at least once, and he probably knew tht they were extinct. So him seeing a basilisk, let alone two basilisk's he is amazed

But still because he knows the awful stories that are portraid in books he is very cautious, more around you that is, since again as I mentioned, Luz probably mentioned Vee back in the Boiling Isles

Now, onto the more fun part to write

When Hunter finally comes to the conclusion that you are in fact not a danger (which the others realized weeks before) he will feel a lot more comfortable

For example he will actually start talking to you and get to know you better

But as the days pass you two seem to grow a connection

The two of you would talk more. Go on walks around the park just to enjoy nature. Do fun activities together such as cooking (you're doing all of the work while Hunter watches). You even shapeshift in front of him to different people and do stupid stuff while Hunter laughs his ass of and tries to copy you

And then there's that one feeling that makes hunter question reality. You could probably guess what feeling I'm talking about

At first he wouldn't understand exactly what's going on with him, because of his time being Golden Guard he never exactly had the time to explore his emotion's

Plus the whole thing in Belos's mind got him even more confused on who he is and if he can even feel what others feel

And so he does what any curious boy does and goes to Luz to ask her about this weird thing he's feeling, of course him not knowing that the feeling is in fact love, or more realistically the feeling of like liking someone, he mentions your name

And to say Luz would be excited is an understatement

She would be squeeling like a fan girl and running around the room, jumping around as she talks to herself excitedly on what your shop name sould be

Hunter is just looking at her with one of his brows arched as he's asking why she's excited all of a sudden

When Luz explains that the feeling he is going through is love he'll be shocked

From then on hell me more awkward around you. Constantly fiddling with the ends of his sleeves and fingers, blushing insanely and his ears would wiggle slightly when you spoke up

Everyone would slowly pick up on Hunter having a crush on you (Luz probably told them a bit later on) but you would be the only clueless one, just thinking that Hunter's going through an awkward stage or something like that

Luz and Vee would probably drop little hints to you, not obvious hints of course, but they would leave you slightly confused

Hunter will be scolding them 100% but they would just make him even more embarrassed by making kissy faces and acting like him

But let's get into the thanks to them episode a bit more

You would notice that Hunter is acting strangely but you just brush it off as mood swings or something like that

But you would get a bit more worried when you saw Hunter running in to the woods and Luz running after him with a scared expression

You being curious, wanting to know what the hell is going on, you follow them

And the next moment you're fighting with a possessed Hunter

Your heart breaking every time he would get hurt, still knowing and trying to tell yourself that that wasn't Hunter

When Hunter finally comes back to his senses and throws the titans blood in to the lake (?)

Your heart dropped when he jumped in. Already getting ready to jump in, but Camila was already one step ahead of you

Pulling him out of the water you were the first one to run up to him, hugging him close as tears build up in to your eyes

But flapjack was there to save the day, jumping on to Hunter's chest, and well... You know what happened next

Now, everyone was walking through the portal, Hunter the last one to enter, but he turned towards you

As he looked in to your eyes, and took in every single detail of your face he slowly walked towards you, grabbing on to your hand

And after a short but emotional confession he put his lips onto yours, putting a had on his cheek you turned your head slightly, smiling in to the kiss

You two pull away slowly and Hunter brushes your knuckles with his thumb, but the moment was ruined when the portal starts to flicker

He quickly runs through it and you're left there with a dumb smile on your face, looking at the portal as it slowly faded away

You were cut out of your thoughts when Vee starts to re-enact the moment you shared with Hunter

Leaving you embarrassed and leaving as Vee teased you while following you, suddenly remembering tha the keys to the car were still with Camila

But you couldn't help but repeat the kiss you and hunter shared over and over in your head. Already getting excited at the thought of seeing him again

I have some shitty trauma, I believe, when It comes to physical contact... but a guy hugged me from behind a month ago and I didn't feel bad about It.

That was the first time a hug didn't feel weird. I ALMOST relaxed COMPLETELY. Maybe because I knew he wasn't going to kiss me on the neck or cheek without my consent? While the cause of my trauma has done so in the past, multiple times?

I also feel weird when I receive compliments, or when someone says thank you or asks me for assistance. I feel weird but not in the good way. Sometimes I even hate it.

In the case of compliments, at least from what I can assume, from what I have felt and thought in those moments, it's because I feel they aren't genuine: people only compliment my garments after I compliment theirs, It has never been the other way round, so I think they only do it out of manners and actually think I look banal and stupid. In the case of thank yous, I feel like the person Is so happy that I did something for them, that they'll ask for other stuff in the future. And in the case of assistance, I feel that if I help them, then they'll think that I can help them for other stuff and I really don't want to. I want to help people but not when they ask me to. This mostly happens with household stuff, moving furniture. I can handle setting the tablet though, I like doing that, as well as hanging the clothes to dry. When It comes to the rest I Just feel like I don't want to do anything most of the time.

Maybe I don't like thank yous and assistance because It "ties" me to people in a way that makes them rely on me (but can i rely on them? and will they want to rely on me forever?), and because I want to be free. At the same time I want to be taken care of. I hate myself because I know that taking and giving nothing in return Is bad, and yet It Is what I crave.

I suspect I have depression. And self esteem issues. But I have never managed to solve them.

What the hell? This has been the norm pretty much since I was a kiddo. I only like contact when it's on my terms and don't do well with sudden contact or being asked for it, when I am asked for it It feels like something in the back of my neck/throat and shoulderblades. I am uncomfy to say the least. It reminds me of the cause of my trauma, if trauma Is what this person caused and I'm not just a bloody idiot.

Is It trust issues? Did the cause of my trauma ruin everything for me?

EDIT: I also feel that my sexual orientation and romantic orientation could be influenced by my trauma. Like, in the case of neglected children that aren't used to physical touch and emotional connection. I could have been "neglected" when It comes to romantic relationships, no one has ever wanted to be my gf or bf and people have even laughed at my face.

IIRC ppl have said tolkiens orcs are black and/or central Asian (Mongolian I believe) coded, which is meaningful cause he's influenced so much of modern fantasy, and thats. Y'know. Not great. Also the orcs in dungeon Meshi are essentially an indigenous group from what I remember so that's also a whole mess. Again, my opinions arent very meaningful when it comes to this, but I feel like it's incredibly disappointing to see an author who's clearly capable of nuanced and interesting commentary on racism in the context of real life and fiction (even if it's not always great it's clear she's thinking about it in some depth) really just. Fall back on tropes. Bc for the other races - human is a wider category than usual, tall men aren't always the Everyman, elves are long lived but that doesn't make them wiser, and halflings are mature, worldly and resourceful, which I feel like does a lot to break free of typical fantasy pigeon holeing. But the orcs are just sorta... The Bad Guy but Not That Bad I guess? Theoretically it's a departure from the "super evil forever no exceptions" idea of the but it's still so far behind what needs to be done to make it less of a lazy, racist trope.

Yeah, again I'm not west Asian or Arab like I said, but between reading stuff ppl online write n talking to my Iraqi friend + rereading dungeon Meshi and really trying to analyze it, it kinda stood out to me. I will say I was a little unconfident posting about it bc it's 3 things (4 if you count the name note) but theyre still really notable at least to me. The hand/foot cutting is I feel the most explicit? Because that's such a fucked up stereotype it just stands out immediately. I don't necessarily know if the half foot/middle east connection was intentional, because I assume Japan/Asia in general has a different relationship with West Asia (since they are the "far east" in comparison, so "Middle East" wouldnt really make sense?), but it could be one of those things that colonialism managed to spread. I'm not very knowledgeable about that, but even if it wasn't intentional I think it's a very interesting parallel in how language can be used to categorize people as "normal/other". So i can't say if its intentional or not, but it's definitely an interesting lens to consider the story thru. Id also say I believe halflings are said to be native to a place that's east from where the story takes place, but not the eastern continent (which is p much easy Asia). I've seen some ppl take this to mean eastern Europe, and I don't think that's wrong, but I think u could also think of it as west Asia? Idk if we ever got much info on it in story, so I might be missing some details. (Honestly I'd personally HC that halflings are generally mixed Eastern European/West Asian- not to conflate the two, but rather Im imaging the majority of them are in a kinda blended culture).
