Lawrence and "Cristian" [Unwanted Reunion]

Fighting in the same hall, barely being able to hold their breath, were the two brothers at eachother's throat. Dagger in hand while the other person was empty handed, holding his arm in pain, Sirius help was taking it's sweet damn time for the healing to kick in.

It took Cristian a moment to stand up again, trying to ignore the hit he took to the face, leaving a bad purple mark on his eye, it pained him to even try to open it. "You... you really are trying to fight empty-handed?" He spoke breathing heavily, laughing quietly to himself. "So much bark for someone who can barely bite--"

The Gambler didn't hesitate to grab him by the collar of his clothes, pushing his back to the glass of the window, the height of the floor they were in was high enough to cause more than some mere broken bones. The impact and the already weakened state of The False Prophet made him drop the dagger to his feet. Being so face-to-face with Lawrence made him notice more than the cuts he had made, that were starting to bleed out to his chin. Another push to the crystal to snap him out of his toughts caused him to grunt in pain.

"Give me ONE good fucking reason on why i should have mercy for you after ALL the shit you've caused in my family." The gambler yelled at him as he tightened his grip on the other's clothes, heavy breathing following after.

"Not will I only push you down with me to death, You'll ruin your public image, your reputation, Is that what the real Cristian wants?-" And just like that, the glass between the tension inside and the fresh air outside were broken, Cristian holding himself for dear life on Lawrence's arm. One push, one slip, or one wrong step and it was over. "HAZLO, NO TIENES EL CORAZON NI LAS AGALLAS PARA HACERLO, COBARDE!"

Lawrence sighed and pulled him back inside, throwing him to the floor like a kicked dog. Insulting in his own tounge as he held his head in his hands. To say Cristian was atonished was an understatement. His surprise vanished quickly, it was going to be replaced with another mocking comment but The Gambler was quick enough to silence him with a kick on the stomach.

"I only let you live because I have my reasons. So be thankful that I'm not like you." Cristian simply rolled his eyes, holding his new wound. . . . "Y-You really are all bark but not bite-- AUGH."

Help I want to write a fanfic so badly but I don’t know where to start

well you’ve come to the right place because neither do i lmao

no okay so,

i would say first things first, figure out who you want to write for and what inspires you to want to write. then you can worry about things like tropes and setting and all that fun stuff. find your inspo and your motivation and (hopefully) the rest will follow!! sometimes listening to songs, or seeing a movie or a tv show makes me go ooooh i wanna write x y z, so that might be a good starting point for things like plot lines and character traits etc.

i think it’s super important to remember that it doesn’t always come super easily and in a clear, linear way. sometimes it’s messy and confusing and you feel like it’s going to shit but it’s not!! that’s just the vibe sometimes!! i cannot count the amount of times i’ve uploaded something and hated it at first but i often find i grow to like those works the most!

can also be very very very beneficial to have someone proofing or beta reading for you, or even just having someone to bounce ideas off of (shoutout to the besties ily) - my inbox is always open and you can always message me!! happy to help if i can!!

when i started writing i literally just threw myself into it and bam, i haven’t been able to stop since. go with whatever idea you’re feeling and i’m sure it will work out as it should - trust the process!

Mojo, I know it'd probably be recced before, but I have to recommend stiltonbasket's Twelve Moons and a Fortnight. It has made me squee of cuteness, hold my breath with suspense, marvel over the worldbuilding and character interactions, and just awed me at how well every original piece of lore and HC ties back to canon. I cried over it, only to cry laughing the next chapter. it kept me going through an entire year of lockdown and is finally coming to an end, and the resolution was magnificent.

I found a fic I had recently asked you about, so I thought I'd share it with you: Seasons of Falling Flowers by merakily (http://archiveofourown.org/works/28522326). I rediscovered it completely by accident after listening to spinifex's excellent podfic adaptation. This is the fic where Lan Qiren despises Wei Wuxian until Wei Wuxian catches a cold and Lan Qiren find out about his golden core. That part is about 3/4 of the way through. The fic is wonderful and shows a rigid but surprisingly introspective Lan Qiren. ~ @clmoryel [Oh!  I just read this one yesterday!  Here’s my bookmark.]

Hi Mojo, firstly thank you for all the hard work you put into running this blog, I’ve found so many fics that I probably would have never come across if it wasn’t for your fic finders posts and your personal review posts.  [Aw, thank you!]

I don’t know if you’ve read this fic before or if it’s been mentioned before on your blog (I’ve done a quick search of your blog and couldn’t see it, so if I’ve missed it I apologise!) but if you’ve got a fic rec post coming up, I would suggest “The shapes a bright container can contain” by litbynosun.

It’s a case fic about 16k words long and set after canon. Whilst it’s not the main focus of the story it does delve slightly into chronic illness of wwx (the ailments of mxy’s body) and lwj (his continuous treatment of his scars) which might cover a few requests in the IITMF posts in future.

One of a Kind Part 13

[Part 13] The gang prepare to do the spell.

A/N: I would like to take a moment to shoutout my Tumblr bestie @spuffy-destiel for being the real MVP and proof reading all of my fics for me as well as just being a constant supporter and encourager of my writing. I probably wouldn’t still be doing this without you! Also @destieliscanon5nov I am in the US and also a night owl! 🤣

Dean didn’t sit for the next three hours, pacing instead as Sam did all of the work to prepare and then even still as Rowena arrived. They explained everything, including their plan which seemed to pique the witch’s interest. It wasn’t until the door flung opened at the top of the stairs and green eyes met with blue, that Dean’s body finally seemed to relax, but even that was short lived.

“We ran into a problem,” Cas remarked as he neared the awaiting hunter below.

“What? What happened?” Dean started looking the two over for injuries, but Cas’ hand on his shoulder pulled his attention back, “My grace… I thought it was just really low as some sort of after affect of being in the empty, but… it’s gone…”

“He just didn’t look the same, and I know humans can’t go into the sandbox or they…” Jack spoke nervously, trailing off in fear of riling Dean up.

“He had to go to Heaven alone, but we got the god tear- the item we needed,” Cas added quickly.

“You’re… human,” Dean was processing slowly.

“Yes, it appears so,” the former Angel answered softly.

Dean practically knocked him over, slamming into him and clinging around the other man’s form with a desperate grip.

“You already could’ve died…” Dean breathed to steady himself before pulling back to look gratefully at the nephilim next to them, “Thank you, Jack…”

“Of course, Dean,” Jack nodded, looking taken aback by the gratitude in the hunter’s eyes.

“You okay with this?” Dean turned back to Cas.

“I would rather be able to help with this,” Cas looked irritated, but the line in his forehead softened again, “but yes, I’m okay.”

“We’re done after this,” the words seemed to surprise even Dean himself, “Yeah, actually… I want to undo what Chuck’s done- end God himself if we have to- but when it’s done… I want us to retire.”

“You’re serious..?” Sam’s voice spoke over his shoulder, drawing Dean’s attention.

“Yeah, I am,” he concluded simply before turning back to Cas, “What do you think?”

“If you’re sure…” a smile grew on Cas’ face, genuine and unguarded, “Of course, Dean.”

“I can’t do it anymore, Cas,” Dean gripped the other man’s shoulders, “I don’t want to do it anymore.”

“I’m with you,” Cas responded meaningfully, “Whatever comes next, I’m with you.”

“Okay,” Dean nodded, trying to hide the giant smile on his face but failing as he turned toward the others, “Let’s get this over with.”

His eyes met Sam’s with a clear question behind them.

“Retiring, huh?” the younger Winchester teased, “Never thought I’d see the day…”

“Yeah, neither did I,” Dean shuffled a bit nervously, “But… what do you think?”

“I think you should do what you think will make you happy,” Sam walked toward him and placed a hand on his shoulder, “Besides… you can always come back to it if Cas starts to drive you nuts…”

“Oh, he already does,” Dean tried to joke before the truthfulness of his statement sunk in.

He blushed softly as his eyes darted toward the former Angel next to him.

“Hate to break up an achingly over due moment, but…” Rowena stepped forward, “You said you got the God tear?”

Cas pulled a small vial out of his coat and held it where she could see.

“Excellent, shall we begin?” the witch motioned toward a table she had prepared with everything else they needed, “Also, we haven’t discussed who will be the vessel… it can’t be jack or myself so that just leaves you three…”

“I’ll do it,” Dean and Sam both said in unison.

“Not you, tweety bird?” she turned an amused eye onto Cas who remained silent next to the elder Winchester.

“I’ve been asked to be less altruistic,” Cas’ eyes cut toward Dean quickly before returning.

“Yeah, no, we just got him back,” Dean added, “He’s definitely not doing this…”

“Understood,” she grinned before raising a brow to the brothers, “So, just between you two then...”

“No, cause he’s not doing it either-”

“Dean, listen,” he cut his brother off at the quick, “I know you think it always has to be you… Our whole lives it was always you,” Sam straightened up, making him look even taller than he already did, “Let me do this one… I mean, you literally just got back from putting your life on the line.”

“Not happening,” Dean turned on his heel, “Come on, Rowena, let’s fire this up-”

“I’m serious, Dean…” his voice shook, pulling Dean’s eyes back to him, “I’m doing this one.”

He opened his mouth to comment, but Cas’ hand reached out to grip his elbow.

“Sam’s right,” the former celestial agreed, “Your time in the empty will have drained you… Sam was in there for a much shorter amount of time from what you told me…”

Dean looked back and forth before shrugging frustratedly and pacing away a few feet.

“So what do I need to do?” Sam turned to Rowena, all business.

“You’re going to drink this,” she took the vial from Cas and poured the contents into the bowl with the other ingredients before holding it up for display, “Then Jack and I will speak these words,” she handed the open book from the table to Jack and received an answering nod, “and our power and consciousnesses will pass into you…”

“And how do we get everyone back to normal after?” Dean made his way over to them once more.

“Sam just has to read the spell again to send us back into our own bodies,” Rowena answered, “But in the meantime our power should be immense.”

“Enough to take on Chuck?” Dean pressed.

“But he’s stuck in the empty,” Sam’s brow furrowed.

“We don’t know how long,” Dean pointed out, “Hell, he might already be out for all we know…”

“We’ll only really know once we’ve tried…” Rowena said with a tilted look toward Sam.

“Well, let’s try then,” the younger Winchester steeled himself.

also i was finally convinced joe was real when taylor named him as wb, and kaylor was over when karlie was pregnant, this all happened about the same time as emps sent me to you i think

Lol I think weirdly I’ve been lucky to start this up when I did. I think WB and the Joshlie bébé meant a lot of intelligent Kaylors had... questions. And while the anti blogs will always be there many of them do tend to... anti on principle.

Like Larries and their antis are THE MOST HECTIC PEOPLE IN THE WORLD tbh because they have like a decade of trauma under their belt. And like I don’t believe in Larry beyond maybe two besties experimenting. And it’s possible and useful to debunk a lot of Larry content.

But antis use Harry’s fake relationships as proof and that makes me side eye and where I say anti-ing is in itself an art and isn’t necessarily the most realistic take. Like Wildestyles isn’t real I’m sorry. Haylor wasn’t real. Does that make Larry real? No man obvi not. But there’s an insistence amongst some of the antis that fake relationships don’t happen. And they absolutely do lol.

It doesn’t always mean a gay coverup. Mostly it’s just to sell shit. Like CW actors all date each other some real some fake but none of them are allowed to date externally because they need to sell stuff. Shoutout to all generation who grew up with #HarryPotter by reading all of the 7 book series, watching the movies and remembering the magic spells better than any other subjects in your school 🙌

June 26th marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter’s 1st book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. What makes this milestone important is that Harry Potter is one of the most lovable and influential fictional characters who has been living my life for about 17 years now.

We’ll, as a tribute to 20 years of harry potter here’s 20 things that relate Harry Potter and I: 1. Adults my age are unique to the Potter generation because we quite literally grew up alongside Harry, Hermione and Ron. I first crossed my path with Harry when I was 11 y.o - same age as Harry in the first novel. 2. The Indonesian version of Harry Potter novel was released in September 2000, and I read the 1st book in 2001, in my 6th grade of Elementary School. 3. I never had my own book - the books were quite expensive to me at that time, so I always borrowed them from friends. The 1st book was borrowed from my classmate, Kitin. 4. The 1st book truly left me amazed, and since then I really look forward to reading (and borrowing) the next series. 5. I read the final novel in the series: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when I was in college 6. I watched Harry Potter’s final movie in Bali, which literally made me cry. Coz you know, it felt like I’d lost such a friend! 7. My favorite books from the series are.. I can’t decide, love them all 💙 8. One thing that I always wanted to try in the real life is “Butterbeer”. I always imagine it as a cold-but-warming and bitter-sweet-savoury drink (hard to explain - I know 😆) 9. No, I’m not that kind of hardcore-Potterhead who collect all of those Harry Potter and wizarding stuffs. It was mostly because I couldn’t afford to buy..hiks :( 10. Up to date, I don’t think there’s any other fictional novels that can beat Harry Potter series. JK Rowling’s creativity was just beyond imagination. 11. I do think that the main characters: Harry-Hermione-Ron are well represented by Daniel-Emma-Rupert. Whoever the Casting Manager was, he/she definitely made the best decision and contributed to the success of Harry Potter film series. 12. And we found countless role models from Harry Potter series! Some we admired from the beginning, and others who seemingly grew up with us, simply because they inspired us with their own ways, through a simple chapter or scene that eventually influence the way we perceived life. For sure I always wanted to be as brave as Harry, as smart as Hermione, as loyal as Ron, as wise as Dumbledore and so on and on and on. 13. Whether it’s with your classmates or sisters, there were times when everything that we talked about always turned into Harry Potter reference. We started to cast the magic spells, praising how brave and cool Harry was, swearing to all the stupidity that shouldn’t have happened and astonished by the unpredictable ending JK Rowling has written. 14. I finally visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Osaka in May 2017 with my bestie, Andre. I think it’s a brilliant creation. The Hogwarts and Hogsmeade are really cool, like a dream come true! 15. But honestly it was so weird to hear the Harry Potter’s videos all around the park were dubbed in Japanese - too kawaii hahaa 16. I finally tried the Butterbeer for the very first time too! 17. To be honest the flavor is so far from what I’ve been expecting. It’s basically vanila soda with butterscotch topping. It gives that sensation at the first time you sip, but I can hardly finish that one glass. Well, at least I’ve tried :) 18. According to the Sorting Hat Ceremony on pottermore.com, I was actually being sorted into…Slytherin! How could that be possible?! I always wanted to go to Gryffindor 😆 19. Beside the wizarding-fantasy that truly mesmerized a 11 y.o kid, the whole series of Harry Potter have actually taught us many life lessons: true friendship, trust, courage, loyalty, love and of course, like what the heroic tales are all about: goodness always wins over evil. There’s also a very well-said saying by Albus Dumbledore: “It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.” Look at Harry back when he was 11 and living in a closet; look how a pure muggle like Hermione can proof herself as the best student of the year; and not to forget the Weasleys who came from a big family that has more children than they could afford can also bring out their best part in whatever situation they involved in. 20. To be honest, I still can’t accept the fact that Harry Potter is over: WE WANT MORE! Especially after watching that little spoiler in the end of its final movie, I’d love to see Harry’s and Ginny’s children! “It is important to remember that we all have magic inside us” - #JKRowling Feeling old??
