Demon Eddie this, Demon Eddie that…take a minute to picture Demon STEVE

Theres so much fun to be had with that. Maybe that’s how he got to the top, favours and exchanges

People come to him with requests and they don’t know how, but he always gets it done.

And then they owe him.

It becomes a thing for him to jokingly go “you owe me!” With a big smile, but they literally do. And he always cashes in, but usually just for small things he wants in the moment. Like a spare cigarette or a drink at a party.

And hey! Maybe Eddie DOES try to summon demons…

And one night, after he’s playing dress up as a satanist, he finally manages to summon one successfully.

Not that he knows that, all he knows is that Steve Harrington is knocking on his door all of a sudden.

Stupid puffy hair and goofy grin staring at him while he leans in.

“You called?”

And Eddie looks towards the phone slowly and back to Steve. Because no, no he didn’t.

He’s too tired and high to even pretend to be polite, just shutting the door in his face before leaning against it with a deep sigh.

But when he opens his eyes, Steve is stood there. In his trailer. As if Eddie didn’t just block his only way in and- okay, yeah. His eyes are fucking red.

He probably shouldn’t have used that book.

My latest knitting project is a ludicrous idea - a large Shetland ring shawl in yarn so thin it's basically thread. I am aiming to knit this for my wedding which is possibly next year, and it almost certainly won't be finished by then. I will try to update here as I progress and face the consequences of my hubris. Top image is my progress so far on the edging of the first border. Bottom image is a completed project by Ravelry user Q-knitter.

In the three minutes he'd known Nikki, he'd already discovered that she was cute, funny, and honest, which pretty much checked all of Drew's boxes. Maybe there was something to be said about this speed dating thing after all...

It's been a few weeks since Jameson mauled Reid, hahaha. When he finally pulls himself out of the bed at Scarletts Inn, he finds himself much too tired and achy to do whatever sort've job she's going to ask of him today.

Jameson pulls his legs over the side of his bed and sits there a moment, his palms pressed over his eyes. After a few seconds like that, he finally stands and gets dressed, stomping into his boots and leaving the room.

He makes his way to the counter to look for Scarlett, rubbing his eye. He looks kind of haggard, and to be quite frank, he looks like he’s sick. “What was it you wanted me to do, again?”

I’ll play along, out of curiosity. What are your takes on dreams? Would you say they mean something or are a collection of memories made throughout the day then morphed? Should you take them seriously?

To be honest, if you're coming here for therapy, your life must really suck. That or you really want to hear what I have to say to you which is sweet but it also baffles me.

(OOC: before we get into this event. Obviously, this isn't a substitute for real therapy. Iceland is going to be cynical and his advice is not going to be the best because he's a dumb teenager. Try not to discuss super heavy topics.)

Guess who found SIX THOUSAND YARDS of black 100% cotton thread at the thrift store?!! (Minus the outer layer, which I removed because it was faded and dirty.) It smells a bit musty but it's still in good condition!

It may sound like an infinite supply of thread, but I've used up more than twice that amount at my part time alterations job in the past 5 years.

I'm going to have to either wind it onto normal sized spools to use it, or set up one of those arm with wire loop thingies that industrials have so I can set it on the table, because huge cones like this just don't work on the little pins on top of domestic machines.

It'd been eleven years since Delilah had last been pregnant, but she still remembered that feeling well--brief stints of normalcy and feeling at home in her body again, premature attempts to return to routine only to quickly be reminded that that routine now had to be executed with the equivalent of a bowling ball strapped to her stomach and compressing her lungs.

Still, it was something she remembered fondly, though she couldn't say for certain she'd feel the same if she knew images from then were going to be splashed across TMZ every time she so much as left the house.

"Never quite." She laughed, head shaking. "At least not in any of the baby books I read. I think they're afraid it'd swear people off."

(Probably for good reason.)

With Van's items collected, Delilah followed her towards the door, a protective arm hovering behind the woman as she guided them out of it and taking up on the side of her closer to street view.

"Oh, you certainly could. And I can tell you some of the other things they don't tell you about having kids, if you'd like. One mom to another." Smiling softly, she nudged her chin towards the end of the street. "I'm parked just in the lot there...think we can make a clean break for it?"

"No, I walked," Van admits with a sigh of regret, "Obviously I wouldn't have done that if I'd known I was getting tailed, but today was the first time I haven't felt like a useless blob in about two weeks so I thought the exercise would be good, you know?"

She sighs.

"I mean, I knew kids took a lot of energy but they never quite warn you about how early that starts."

Van collects her items from the cashier counter and slowly makes her way to the door.

"A ride would be great. I'd offer to get you a drink to show my gratitude but there's famously no alcohol being consumed at my house for the moment. Could I interest you in tea and a baked good?"
