A/N: I'm so glad @edenesth kept this Woo pic for research purposes. Hey, ya'll should've seen it coming, we got a Sannie period fic- we were definitely going to get a Woo one too.

Wooyoung walked down the hallway to his room, humming to himself. Since he was alone in the dorm,he could practically walk around naked if he wanted to, not that he did, but he COULD. Anyway, he had just come back after a much-needed lap around the pool, he was alone and somewhat in pain, which is why he decided to follow the instructions of his physiotherapist. Swimming loosened his muscles, and helped with the aches as well, though the smell of the chlorine was the only thing he dreaded.

Opening the door of his bedroom, he walked in, took off his shirt and tossed it somewhere in the room, only for it to land on his bed. He was busy sifting through his cupboard when he froze, an uncharacteristic form of movement catching his eye, hands still stuffed in his closet, he watched from his peripheral, the lump of the blankets he had left on the bed this morning slithered closer to where his shirt was, a hand creeping out from under the covers, clawing at the cotton before snatching it and engulfing it. What the actual hell!?

Did someone break in? Does he call the manager? The sun-kissed skin male creeped closer to his bed, watching whatever was under the blanket move around, a faint whimpering muffled by the rustling of the sheets could be heard, the springs of his bed, creaking in the same horror that led the sweaty-palmed boy to grip the edge of the blanket with trembling fingers.

Maybe watching horror movies alone for a whole weekend was not a good idea. In reality, he had called over someone else too, but his usual company was busy, told him he'd have to spend the weekend alone, and he did, he spent Friday night alone, even Saturday night too- and look where that got him, facing the new monster that hid under his blanket, possibly a psycho stalker, a parasocial fan very much ready to kill-

"YAH!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, ripping the blanket off the intruder,and eliciting a scream from the intruder.

Standing there he blinked at her, not something he'd ever expect to see -not that he didn't welcome the sight, but it was...odd?

"Stop staring!" She hissed trying to quickly pull the shirt -his shirt- over her head, not sure if she was embarrassed because he had caught her half undressed in his blanket or because of her flashy pink bra- though she couldn't come up with an answer when he gripped her wrist, restraining her movement.

"Why have I never seen this before- have you been holding out on me!?" He screeched as she huffed, snatching her wrist out of his grasp and sitting up to push the shirt all the way down, ignoring his incessant whines and pleas.

"Don't be stupid, and hand me your sweatpants or something, I need to change out of my jeans."

"I'm not sure if I should be turned on, or concered by this strange behaviour."

"There is nothing sexy," grumbling she unbuttoned her pants, trying to kick them off, simultaneously kicking the blanket away as well, "About getting your period while sitting- ugh!" She grunted before letting out a whine, flopping on her back as she stared up at the ceiling in defeat, fine she'd just lay here, tangled in her jeans and his sheets, wearing his shirt, letting the cramps take over her, closing her eyes as she let out a sigh, "In the bus."

There was a moment of silence settled between the two, honestly she couldn't tell if he had left the room or was staring at her like a creep- wouldn't be surprised if it were the latter, she had realised she was dating a creep pretty early in the relationship. So why was she still with him? Cause he was an idol? Cause he was rich and good-looking? Cause he was famous? No.

Her lips quirked into a small smile, when she felt her jeans slowly peel off her legs, the blanket that was wrapped around her leg was gently pulled away, causing her to shiver slightly at the chill in the air, man he really liked to blast that AC on full. A pair of lips press faintly against hers, only for a moment, this is why she was still with him, her eyes opening to be graced by the face of an angel, a gentle smile, a chuckle ringing in her ears like a symphony she had been too woeful and in need of- because Jung Wooyoung, was perhaps the most caring, selfless and loving person she had ever met.

He hummed to himself, fingers caressing down her thigh to her knee, tapping her knee aimlessly before he walked over to his closet, going back to his original task. Though this time he managed to obtain the items required, humming his way across the room he turned on the small desk lamp, before turning off the bright light, knowing well how pain causes heightened sensitivity to light, and nothing was going to trigger his baby.

"You need help putting them on?" He asked, showing her the sweatpants, though his eyes never met hers, too focused on another part to notice her face-

"Woo?"

"Hmm?"

"Stop staring at my underwear-"

"You can't wear a set that hot and- wait." Frowning he knelt down, grabbing her ankle, about to lift her leg watching her pull the shirt down and pull her legs away, shaking her head at him, gesturing for the pants, "Why are you wearing such a set- no- why are you here!?"

Sighing she gently rolled off the bed, planting her feet on the cold ground, a hand reaching out to keep her balance, one that was gingerly accepted by his bigger one, smiling down at her when she looked up at him all doe eyed and confused, giving her the signature Wooyoung giggle, followed by a, "Don't worry, I got you baby."

Mumbling a thanks, she put on the pants quickly, hoping he couldn't see an inch of her pad, even for a second - not that he'd mind it, but it was embarrassing. With a sigh she sat back down, turning to look at him, as she began to speak, "Since I couldn't come during the weekend, because of stupid work, I wanted to make it up to you by surprising you today, but on my way here I got my period, " she mumbled, speaking much like how her lover had a while back, staring not at his face, but at the alluring tan expanse of his chest, eying the tattoo, she often wondered if it hurt while he got it done, "luckily I was wearing an emergency one...but I had to change as soon as I came here and I couldn't find you anyway and well, it hurt a lot and I saw your bed so...that's how you found me."

Shaking his head in disbelief, he moved closer to cup her face, angling her head up to meet her eyes, "My eyes are up here...you perv." He smirked, earning an eyeroll before he pressed a chaste kiss to her forehead, turning to leave, "I'll be back with a quick shower-" his words were cut short when she gripped his wrist, her nails leaving small crescents, as she looked up at him, "Stay."

"I smell like chlorine, love, I'll be back before you know it-"

"Please."

That's how Wooyoung found himself laying on his side, an arm lazily placed over her waist, the other folded and tucked under his head, while her finger outlined the tattoo on his chest, yes she had asked him to not put his shirt on, not for any perverse reason, mind you, she just liked how warm he was- that was all. He was the weird one, staring at her with an unsettling smile.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Her words were but a whisper, enough for something to tingle down his spine, an involuntary shiver causing him to press his fingertips against her lower back, causing her to let out a sigh at the pleasant pressure.

"That you were wearing something so hot, all for me."

"Oh my god," she sighed, "Yes, I, a grown woman who wanted to spend some quality time with my boyfriend, who till last notice was a fully grown man and not a horny teenager, wore something he'd like." Meeting his eyes she couldn't help but blush at the way he shamelessly stared at her, before his eyes turned into pleased crescents, crinkling at the ends due to the smile that stretched across his face- man, the things he'd do to her.

"Too bad it was ruined, though." Moving closer, she mumbled, pressing her face into his neck, hugging him closer, her fingers gently scratching the nape of his neck, tempted to trail lower to trace the ink.

"What are you talking about?" He sighed, basking in the attention; honestly he had assumed that he'd need to pamper her now, make her tea, bring her something to eat and end up massaging her back, a monthly ritual that he had introduced in their relationship, the first time he'd seen how she'd go pale in pain during the time of the month. What he did not expect however was for her to be all over him like this, perhaps a bit more touchy than he usually was, letting him feel every inch of her, mind you, not everywhere, she'd become as feral as a feline if he touched the no go areas during shark week, but having her pressing against him, tangled under his blanket, having her trail her lips up the column of his jaw, only to end up, pecking the tip of his nose, smiling at him all cute and flushed, with tinted cheeks and a crazy bedhead, on a Sunday evening, no, he did not expect this at all-

"Woo."

"Hmmm?" He asked, staring up at her, admiring the way the warm, dim light accentuated her beauty, fingers feeling her warmth under the cotton, giving it a little squeeze, earning a stutter in response, "W-when I said unclip it, I didn't mean have your way."

"Did they grow big-"

"Sometimes they swell up and become sensitive." She cut him off before pulling back, flopping down beside him as she skillfully took off the undesired, itchy and irritating pink garment he seemed to have liked so much, slipping it out from under the shirt and holding it up, glaring at it in disgust, though her partner next to her was still amazed by how women do this, more importantly he wanted to know more about the fact that he had just learnt, so he watched her toss it across his room, landing somewhere with a soft thud, not that he cared, no one was home so no one could barge in.

Turning to her side, she faced away from him, a soft sigh escaping her when he hugged her, pressing himself against her as he placed a leg on hers, the weight helping with the pain.

It was peaceful...for a good minute before his sneaky hand decided to "conduct an experiment for research purposes"-

"Stop!" She whined, pushing his hand away, huffing when he placed his chin on her shoulder, his cheek pressing against hers, "Does it hurt?"

"Somewhat, yeah!" She mumbled, ignoring him when he hummed seriously in return, her clown was clowning around and she didn't want to partake in his circus for the-

"JUNG WOOYOUNG!"

Her shriek was followed by a sharp smack, earning a whine from the man who pulled back and pouted at her all cute, "Why'd you do that." He asked, referring to the slap his hand had received as he gently rubbed over the stinging skin.

"Because I said no, you moron."

"It was for research purposes! For science! My hand wasn't even in your shirt!"

"I know how scientific you are, and how much you love your research, but unless you want me to leave-"

"No!" He gasped, pouncing at her, rolling them around on his bed causing her to laugh but also let out a whine, asking him to stop, only he did, but this time he was completely wrapped around her. His face buried in her shoulder, arms holding her close, his legs tangled with hers, both wrapped- trapped- in well, most of the bedsheets and blanket, god knows where the pillows were too.

"See, you can get all the love you want," she giggled, fingers carding through his hair as she tugged on it, making sure her grip wasn't hard enough to hurt him, but enough for him to tilt his head up and look at her "If you behave."

"You're very bossy for someone who came to give me her unconditional love."

"You're very touchy for someone who claims to treat his lover with care."

"I am treating you with care." He smiled at her, looking at her dead in the eye before he pressed his forehead against hers, the tip of his nose poking hers, causing her to raise a brow at him, though her heart began to beat like crazy, only leaving her to hope he couldn't hear the passion and admiration that flowed within her for him, "I'm treating you with all the care and," he whispered, his hand slowly maneuvered around her, placing it on the 'subject area', not that she noticed, she was too distracted by him, noting how his lips were barely a few inches away from hers, only to let out a whine when he finished his statement and gave her an experimental squeeze, "tender love."

Wooyoung learnt two things that night as he laughed through the pain, running out of the room -yelling about how he'd take a quick shower then get her something to eat- a hand pressed against his stinging cheek. Firstly, women tend to get all sensitive and tender all over during their period and secondly, his girl could swing like a champion, probably enough to break a jaw- he sure loved his strong, independent, sensitive lady, who would probably require more than just a nice meal to forgive him, perhaps a back rub, or more? Didn't matter, for Jung Wooyoung, lived to please his princess.

I can’t believe it. We’re finally here. Round 3 starts tomorrow (2/1), with our first poll dropping at 8 am EST.

Some notes:

Round 3 will be our biggest round yet, and I have 227 polls scheduled. That’s almost a year’s worth of polls. It should be obvious that not every Order is going to make it to Round 4. So you’re going to need to be more choosy this round. Be honest. Come here with a plan. Do a bit of research. Know your favs. This next round is covering Animal Orders. If your favorite animal is a Great White Shark you need to know that it’s a Lamniform. So you should make sure you’re only voting fav in the Lamniformes poll and not fav in the other shark polls. You can still vote love or like in those polls; that’s what those options are there for. But this round is going to require a bit more focus if we want a diverse roundup next year! If you’re someone who votes favorite in every poll, try to pick just one or two favorites from each class we’re covering. I would actually love if we could have at least one representative from each class moving forward. (That being said, don’t be afraid to reflect it in your vote if the descriptions and propaganda have you discovering new favorites! I’m kinda hoping for that here too!)

I can not state enough that this tournament relies on numbers. If you want your fav to move forward you have to make sure people see it. Reblog, post propaganda, etc. If you don’t have a large following, reblog the poll anyway, add some GOOD propaganda onto it, and then chances are I’ll reblog it which increases the chances of it getting seen again. Get your friends involved. If you know someone that only blogs about squids, tag them! This tournament is all about PASSION.

I had some complaints last round about missing some polls. These polls are all pre-scheduled. They post once a day, at 8am EST, and they’re open for 7 days. If you click on the tag #/Animal Polls while within my blog, you can see every poll in one place. I recommend doing that every so often so you don’t miss any of them! You can also turn on notifications or follow the blog via rss (but that also means your gonna be seeing asks, extra propaganda, and poll results as well.) On top of that, I will post a schedule of every single poll at the bottom of this post, under the read more. If there are polls you absolutely do not want to miss, put them in your calendar!

That being said, there is ONE BIG CHANGE this round. I am removing the hate option. I put the dislike and hate options there as a fun little mechanic to strategize and steal points from other people but uh… I’m ngl, it’s starting to Hurt My Feelings. Whoopsie. The dislike option will remain but I feel like hate is a bit too strong of an option to include. The fact that dislike, neutral, and simply not voting already detract points from the total seems like enough. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still, as always, this is just a silly Tumblr tournament that doesn’t really matter in the long run. Nothing’s going to happen to the animals that make it to the next round and nothing’s going to happen to the animals that don’t, we’re just trying to figure out the most popular animal on Tumblr. If your favorite doesn’t make it, that’s okay! If anything, that just makes it, and you, all the more unique! And if it does? Welcome! You’ve found your people!

Hello friends! I, along with my co-mod, timothysboxers, are thrilled to announce that 25 Days of Draco and Harry will run again in 2023. We want to thank @navi1088 for creating this art for our banner.

For those who may not be familiar with this challenge, I have included the rules at the end of this post, and I encourage you to read these.

And for the loyal fans of 25 Days of Harry and Draco: In 2023, we will be doing both Early-bird and Traditional prompts as usual. Again, we're running on LJ, DW and tumblr – the rules will be the same as last year.

Because it seemed to work out quite well last year, the Early-bird Prompts will once again be available in late October, and we will be including the Image Descriptions along with the prompts.

Early bird prompts will be available no later than Sunday, 22 October, allowing creators over 5 weeks and some change to work on their posts.

Also, we will have the Discord server specifically for 25 Days of Draco and Harry participants. Like last year, this will be a place where early bird participants can discuss (in a channel just for them) the prompts and how they might use them. Traditional participants will join the general section of the server in December.

The 2023 rules at a glance, for those familiar with the concept:

25 Days of Draco and Harry 2023 - Traditional

No changes from prior years. A photo prompt is posted starting at midnight EST 1 December, and you create a work based on that prompt and post before the next day's prompt goes up.

Each of your posts can be part of a larger work or they can stand alone.

25 Days of Draco and Harry 2023 - Early Bird

You receive access to all 25 photo prompts no later than midnight (EST) Sunday, 22 October. This is the same time frame as last year. Hopefully this will give you time to prepare and create for 25 Days before the insanity of December starts.

You will post one work per day for each prompt. This can be a stand-alone story or each day can be a part of a bigger story. We may even get a pod-fic this year of a past 25 Days fic and that would be posted a chapter a day. ♥

The advantages are this:

1) you can use the picture prompts in any order you chose

2) you can start creating early and have many of your posts ready to go before December 1st.

3) you get the prompts all at once so you can pre-plan your story or your use of each day's prompt.

The basic rules of 25 Days of Draco and Harry – Traditional Edition:

The challenge is to write a drabble, ficlet, story (whatever) for the pictures posted each day from 1 Dec to 25 Dec. Your fic for each prompt must be a minimum of 100 words – but there is no maximum. They can be twenty-five one-shots or each one can be a part of a bigger story. Pictures will be posted at midnight EST and you have until the next midnight to complete your work.

Yes, you may combine this with other communities or tumblr prompts.

Your fic does not have to be a story of the picture – you can use a part of the picture or whatever that picture says to you. We're pretty flexible around here.

Traditional Prompts must be used in their posted order. If you fall behind, you can post more than once a day to get caught up. You're also welcome to post as life allows, meaning you don't have to worry about being on time. You can also combine a few days or prompts into one fic/ficlet/drabble/etc. But the true challenge is to post every day for 25 days within the 24-hour time frame.

You do not need to sign-up for the Traditional edition, the prompts will be made available beginning 1 December at midnight EST.

While you're not required to, you are encouraged to add your story to the AO3 collection by adding "25 Days of Draco and Harry 2022" to your submissions, under collections, when you post them to your own AO3 account. Welcome to the official CTHALIA fanart contest!

This contest is to celebrate the impending release of Cthalia's final act, and the creativity of the fan community! You join by drawing characters from the story, and winners will receive custom made art of their OC or favorite fandom character!

Welcome to the profile of the Amsterdam ABDL Social!

Every two months, an ABDL event will be organized in Amsterdam. Under this new name we will now be organizing events starting in 2024. The goal of the event is to have people in the Ageplay and ABDL community connect with each other in a safe space at a physical location. 

The event is hosted at the Aknathon in Amsterdam, which is a club/bar. The focus on the event is socializing together (no sexual interactions allowed!), while wearing what you feel comfortable in. Want to wear a diaper covered under your regular clothes? That’s okay. Want to just wear a diaper and a onesie? That’s fine as well. Want to go all out and do a complete outfit? Lovely! What binds us together is our love for Ageplay and/or ABDL. That’s only the starting point of course, let’s find out what other things connect us!

Looking for more of a nursery vibe? We do provide tables with table-top games, stuffed animals to cuddle with, and some toys to play with. There will be other people like you that would love to cuddle and/or play, just remember to ask first. There is a changing area where you can change your diaper as well!

The event is organized every 2 months. It starts at 16.00 EST and ends at 20.00 EST. If that is not enough time for you, or if you have any reservations about visiting, take a look at the Pancake Pre-Meet, it starts at 14.00 EST and ends at 15.30 EST. During the Pre-Meet you will meet our host @little_bouncingbal and other Pre-Meet participants. You can get to know each other, and after the Pre-Meet you will go to the main event as a group, so you don’t have to enter alone.

During the main event, we will have a shop available so you can stack up on supplies. That’s great if you are just visiting the country and don’t want to bring a big stash. Welcome to the Battle of the Eagle and Lion!

In TOA, this is a tournament-style mini-event where the houses compete to see who will come out on top!

How It Works

This year, like last year, battles will be 3v3 instead of 1v1. Characters who have signed up to compete will be randomly assigned two other teammates from their own house and an opponent each round. Who goes first will be determined by speed rolls made at the beginning of each round of battle. This will determine attack order. Whichever team knocks out all of their opponents first, or deals the most total damage when the round ends, will be determined the winner and will progress to the next round. Individuals who are KO’d on a winning team will not continue to the next round. The house with the most surviving members at the end of the tournament will claim victory!

More thorough instructions for how the battles work will be posted when Round 1 begins.

How to Join

1. First register your muse(s) here. You will be asked to select the house that your character is currently affiliated with, and this affiliation cannot be changed after registration. If your character is of an unaffiliated faction or aligned with the Abyss, they may choose to support one of the three main houses instead. You will also be asked to select two pieces of D or E rank equipment and one Beginner class for your character.

For this event, your characters will start with 5HP and will be able to bring any D or E rank equipment that they have already claimed. This excludes personal weapons, personal skills, and crests. You will also be able to select a Beginner class that your muse has mastered and apply the mastery abilities that come with it. If your character has not mastered a Beginner class, they will be given Noble/Commoner and HP+. If your character manages to defeat their opponent and advance to the next round, they will be able to select any one piece of equipment or mastery ability from their opponents OR a random item from a roulette that will be offered to your team, regardless of rank and class restrictions, and add it to their inventory for the next round. We hope that this creates some fun and interesting combinations.

Registration will be open from March 8th to 11:59PM EST on March 15th. Let the House Leaders know if you have any questions.

2. The tournament will begin at noon EST on March 17th and run until 11:59PM EST of March 30th. The first round will run from March 17th until 11:59PM EST of March 19th, or until all battles have ended, whichever comes first. Subsequent rounds may have their durations adjusted depending on performance.

3. Wait with bated breath for your opponent to be revealed. We will make a post with the matchups for each round. This will not be a traditional bracket. The winners of each round will be randomized for the next round and so on. Please tag your posts with #toaboel2025.

4. We encourage shorter, faster replies, but unlike past years, all battles will need to be started as a thread. There will be 6 people per thread. All replies, at minimum, will require the roll, the damage, the target, and a brief description of the attack being made. Counterattacks will not be made. Think of these battles like Pokemon Triple/Rotation Battles, where every player’s turn is just their own attack. The battle order will be pre-determined by a set of rolls, affected by Speed, at the beginning of every round.

5. If your team successfully knocks all of your opponents out, congratulations! Those of you still standing will progress to the next round with full HP. If your character lost, then join the others in the medical tent. Remember that this is all for fun, so please don’t get upset if your character is KO’d. There are plenty of opportunities to thread with spectators and medical tent visitors while you wait for the tournament to end.

6. This is supposed to be a fast-paced event, so long posts/threads are not necessary. However, unlike past years, battle threads for this event will count toward mastery if they meet the usual requirements. All event posts will count for the month’s IC requirements as well. As this event will require daily posting and communication with a team, please consider whether or not you will be able to actively participate before signing up. It wouldn’t be fun for everyone else if you hold up a round because you don’t have the time to reply to your opponent.

Notes about the tournament

These battles are designed to be similar to Pokemon Triple/Rotation battles. Your character’s potential targets will be influenced by their weapon range, where melee weapons can only attack an opponent directly in front or beside of them, and ranged weapons can only attack opponents at a diagonal. For example: A B C [Team X] 1 2 3 [Team Y] If B has a melee weapon, they can attack 2, or attack A and C (friendly fire). If B has a ranged weapon, they can attack 1 and 3, but not 2. If B has a mixed weapon, they can attack 1, 2 and 3. Support abilities will work the same way. Rallies and the Heal spell will affect adjacent allies (e.g. B can use a rally on A or C, but C can only use a rally on B), but ranged abilities like Physic will be able to aid allies who are farther away.

Speed will not allow players to double. Instead, they will be given a +[speed] bonus to their turn order rolls at the beginning of each round of battle, which will improve their chances of moving first. If a player has negative speed, they will be pushed down in the turn order.

To assist with the number of moving parts that this event tends to have, we’ll be asking for volunteers to sign up to be Scorekeepers using this form. The volunteers we select will be given a special Scorekeeper role within the server that members can ping if they have questions about their battles and when they finish. The primary jobs of a Scorekeeper will be to make sure that combat is logged uniformly so that the data for the superlative awards can be easily gathered at the end of the event and to check that all math is correct before determining an official winner of a battle. The mods will also have this Scorekeeper role so that we can receive the pings as well.

Due to the short length of the battles, combat arts will be considered used even if they miss.

Several weapons have been modified specifically for BOEL. Please refer to this list for more information on changes to eligible equipment. A separate tab lists the weapons and abilities that have been banned for this tournament.

Keep in mind that while you can sign up as many muses as you want for this event, if the mod team notices you having less than satisfactory activity, (i.e. you are shown to be holding up your teammates and opponents during the duration of any round) we may make the decision to limit the amount of muses you can sign up in future events such as next year’s BOEL or any upcoming Arena events.

Changes for 2025

Weapons with built-in brave effect (e.g. gauntlets) and weapons with mixed range will inflict -1 def/res on the wielder. This debuff DOES stack, so a weapon with a built-in brave effect and mixed range will inflict -2 def/res on the wielder. Abilities like Close Counter and Range+ will also inflict -1 def/res on the wielder.

The event team prizes that ordinarily grant str/mag and def/res have been changed to grant a boost to only one stat, not two.

Matchups will always be evenly matched (e.g. 3v3 or 2v2). If this is not possible because of the number of participants per team, an NPC with a random kit will be provided to even the numbers.

Combat threads now count for mastery if they meet word and reblog requirements.

Incredibles 20th anniversary celebration stream this Saturday!

Hey, everyone!!! This coming October/November is the 20th anniversary of the greatest movie of all time, The Incredibles! The movie had its premiere on October 24 and its wide release on November 5, 2004. To celebrate, I'll be hosting another celebration watch party on the evening of Saturday, October 26 (this coming Saturday)!

MOVIE MUSICAL DIVAS TOURNAMENT

Clang clang clang went the trolley. Hello, and welcome to the Movie Musical Divas tournament. We've just come off a riveting bracket-style tournament dedicated to my beloved Broadway Divas from the 1980s to present day, and have graduated to movie musicals of the 20th century. Submissions for movie musical Divas are now closed, but additional propaganda for competing Divas is welcome.

Round 1 will begin July 1st, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. EST. This tournament will not be bracket-style to free up some of the rigidity of pairings I'd boxed myself into with the Broadway Divas. A sublime 100 Divas will compete for the crown of best movie musical actress.

Frequently Asked Questions:

"But what about [movie musical Diva who stared in one musical in the late 1990s as a 20-something]?" We're playing fast and loose with my guidelines and rules here, but I've made the executive decision to exclude movie musical divas who began late in the timeframe as very young women. We love and respect MILFs in this house.

"But what about [my favorite Diva who didn't make the list]?" All but one submission made it into the tournament unscathed. If she's not on our list, she wasn't submitted.

"That actress was only in [insert show here] so she shouldn't count." Because movie musicals are a niche genre, and many major movie musical stars only ever did one or two in their careers, I've been more lenient on some single-show credits as submissions have gone on.

"Please, please, please, can I submit [Diva] even though it's past deadline?" No, unfortunately the submission window has closed, and I'm rather partial to this neat and tidy hundred. That being said...if you submit her in the next two or three days, and I personally am deeply in love with her, I might allow it. Might.

Propaganda Rules, Guidelines, and Questions:

“I have additional propaganda for a Diva.”  Excellent, I love to see it. Send me an ask, DM me, or reblog the poll and add your propaganda to it. If you see a separate post that relates to your Diva, tag @broadwaydivastournament and I will add it to the queue. I may not reblog your post if said Diva is already swimming in propaganda and her opponent is left high and dry, for the sake of fairness.

"Can I submit propaganda even if it's from a movie musical outside the timeframe?" No post-20th century propaganda will be allowed. For example: I will gleefully reblog anything Angela Lansbury from pre-2000s movie musicals, but will not reblog posts that focus on her post-2000s roles like the Balloon Lady in Mary Poppins Returns. Additionally, as much as it pains me as a self-proclaimed Broadway Baby, I will not be accepting stage performances UNLESS the musical in question has been filmed in full and released as a proshot. Concert performances or television appearances will also be rejected, unless by some fluke, the tv appearance is one of those feature-length special episodes. And even then, it'll be a case-by-case basis.

I am a hater at heart, and so I actually do post/reblog negative propaganda, but it cannot be gratuitous or overtly cruel. Propaganda of this nature should remain respectful, constructive, and reasonable. Acceptable examples include: thoughtful critique of a performance; whether the Diva was miscast in roles; why the Diva is less worthy of votes compared to her competitor based on the films and roles specifically. Personal assassination of a Diva's private life will not be allowed. The isn't the ethics and morality committee.

The views expressed in (most of) the propaganda are not my own. Nearly all submissions were done anonymously and will be credited as such. Any propaganda I personally submit will be done through my personal blog. If you've been here, you probably already know it. If you're new, I'm sure it will be very obvious soon enough. I will not be editing or condensing any propaganda submitted beyond a cursory spell-check, no matter how disdainful I personally am of this whole no capitalization business. I also do not have time to review all videos in full, so if you would like any videos appropriately tagged for sensitive topics, please let me know.

“Where are the hot movie musical men?”  I welcome someone else to start up a hot movie musical man tournament, but it will not be me. I am a lesbian and thoroughly unqualified to oversee a tournament of men. Despite my extensive movie musical knowledge, I have no confidence that I'd be able to name more than five movie musical actors off the top of my head this very minute. (Robert Preston, Yul Bryner, Christopher Plummer- yeah, that's it. That's all I got without thinking about it too hard.)

“I think you forgot to add my propaganda?”  It most likely has to do with broken links. Most Divas have a fairly reasonable amount of propaganda, and so I won't be excluding based on quantity, at least to start. That may change down the line as more comes in.

Let me let you in on a secret.

So! Official tagset nominations don't start until the 17th of August. That's when we really kick things off for FIAB 2024, at 10pm EST. However— this week we are offering a chance to pre-load the tagset with some of your favourites, especially if you were part of the exchange last year and you have some of the same blorbos.

Last year we accepted over 12,000 tags for over 1,000 fandoms, which you can check out here. This was a lot of work both for mods and participants to get entered, and we've come up with a bit of a way to streamline the process this year.

This week, from August 9th-16th, you can ask the mods to batch load fandoms from last year's tag set into this year's tagset.

It doesn't matter if you nominated them yourself or not— if you like the tags that were in there last year, you can ask for it to be copied over. There are a few exceptions for especially chonky fandoms, but if your fandom was in the tagset last year, go ahead and get it copied! This will only work for this week only, this stops as soon as normal nominations open up. Head over to the Dreamwidth blog and look for the Fandom Transfer post for more instructions! (Note that if you are not used to dreamwidth you do not need an account to comment on posts.)

This dinner party isn't like anyone you've ever witnessed. Tonight, you will be solving a murder. Felix Fontano, club owner and son of notorious mob boss Frank Fontano was found dead in the early hours of the morning, during a party he was hosting at his own club. You can't go to the police: Frank has the entire force in his back pocket, and his corrupt cop buddies would turn on you faster than you could say prohibition. Your only hope is to solve the murder yourself, and turn the culprit into Frank and his mafia chronies. Frank has an enemy list a mile long, but only one fiend was callous enough to do the deed. Will you solve the murder? Or are you next on the killer's list?

Welcome to our murder mystery party! Your goal is to be the first member to solve the murder of Frank Fontano. The first member to correctly identify the killer will receive a gif pack of any FC of our choice made by your admin team! The official rules of the game are as follows:

Members will be given a list of the characters who are considered 'persons of interest' in the murder of Felix Fontano. They all have secrets, and one may lead you right to the killer. But only one is the real killer, and it will be your job to figure out who.

Through the gossip blog, members will be given the opportunity to ask our characters one of three pre-provided questions to find out their potential means, motive, or opportunity. Remember, they all have secrets they're desperate to hide, secrets that could make or break their innocence! But be smart! Not every suspect has the answer to every question.

You can gather more information by finding evidence via a scavenger hunt on the main. We will provide the clues; it is your job to find those clues to gather evidence that takes you one step closer to Frank's killer.

Think you have the answer? Submit your guess to the event blog by NO LATER THAN 11:59PM EST. We will reveal the final culprit by 12:00PM EST tomorrow, and announce the winner!
