This is an excellent example of the Severitus trope imo. Possibly the Dad-est Snape I've ever encountered while staying nicely in character. The sneaky dark horse of this fic for me personally is Fudge though. He's only in one scene but he's the best Fudge I've ever read. Also features Snape's parents with some very interesting characterization. I hope you'll give it a shot, it truly is a lovely fic!

The relationship here is stellar, the fic is just slightly AU with respect to when Lily and Severus' friendship ends and that little ripple changes a lot. I found this work super tense, always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Definitely worth a read!

This is a really classic Time Travel fic where Hermione attends school in Snape's final year with him. It hits all the right notes and has such a bittersweet penultimate chapter before finally giving you your happy ending. Definitely a great read, I hope you'll give it a shot!

I really enjoyed this fic by laventadorn - I feel almost foolish calling this a long read compared to the other works they're known for but lets ignore that! This fic is a little bit of a romance and a little bit of a mystery and all of it is very, very good! I loved the really strange flow of time here, it's clear that things are not quite real and it gives the story such a sense of place. Truly fantastic. I hope you'll give it a read!

This Marriage Law fic by Morbidmuch is one of my favourites. It's very angsty with a reasonably grounded depiction of the inhumanity of such a law. What I really love about it is the pining. Absolute Olympic level pining with a touch of the unforgivable sin of accidentally falling in love with your wife! Gets me every time! I do hope you'll give it a look!
