For the Divers, all of them seem to have scars on their necks, is that a marker to show they're part of the Divers or is it just for a fun design to represent gills?

Good eye! Yes, all of them have four scars on either side of their neck (eight in total) to represent gills. Captain Otodus marks each of them once they're approx. 12-18 months old and has them bathe the fresh wounds in salt water as a rite of passage into adulthood within the family. If the member flinches at all during the process, the ceremony is held off for a moon... which is fine, but the Divers tend to pick at each other for showing weakness. So, you can look forward to a month of enduring your sibling's on your ass for flinching for a second 😔

⭐️Rina Headcanons that are actually just canon⭐️

I mostly made this for fun and so that people can understand me and my character a bit better since she is my first actual self insert ever. Also because I was too lazy to make a whole new reference sheet lmao. Also sorry I haven’t really been active 😭 I’m trying to appreciate my own creations and such by posting it less since I usually only made it just to post 💀😭 which is sad asf.

General:

⭐️Rina has two younger sibilings, a younger girl who is currently 16-17 and the youngest boy who’s 8. She does have a few half siblings, however she doesn’t know them.

⭐️Rina’s mom, is actually her aunt, they’re pretty similar looking but she’s always felt a bit different from them. This also explains as to why her mom so distant from her father (she doesn’t like him for many reasons). Her biological mother ran off and left Rina behind, she now regrets it and wants to see her, but her mom won’t allow her to (Rina is aware of this, while she would like to meet her mother she is a bit stubborn to since she did just leave her behind like that with the man who barely even speaks to her)

⭐️speaking of stubborn, Rina is really really really stubborn 💀 if you tell her to do something she doesn’t like she either won’t do it or she’ll do just what you asked and only that and nothing else purely out of spite (me core but I’m also like really tired💀😭)

⭐️Rina is 25-26 as of right now (I like to keep her 10 years around my age from now.)

⭐️her family does pottery for a living, they don’t make much money off it but they do what they can.

⭐️she’s always gone to bed pretty early, she had to as a kid, but she’s actually a night owl so she stays up pretty late often

⭐️she currently only has one friend, Andromeda, they’ve been friends since they were in high school

⭐️while Rina is a very shy and sweet person at heart she can still be very out of pocket. Her main goal is to make people laugh however sometimes it tends to backfire 😭

⭐️she can also be very mean 💀 especially if you piss her off she doesn’t play 💀😭 and she’s not as easy of a target as most people think she is

⭐️She does show some signs of bpd (Borderline personality disorder) such as being obsessive and having abandonment issues. She is also very clingy so she finds it hard to let go of people she likes. She’s also really dependent on certain people (thus being Hades.)

⭐️her obsessive behavior dies down a bit, she is very impulsive during these times, when she’s finally developing feelings so she’ll do all that she can to get their attention (such as the way she goes after hades)

⭐️MOVING ON FROM THAT DARK ASS SHIT, Rina is pretty iffy with touch if it’s not coming from someone she trusts, even with people she does trust she’s pretty iffy with it, hugs are normal and it’s not like she never or rarely got one it just feels foreign to her, so she opts to giving gifts and letters, she struggles with talking aloud so most words of affirmations fr written unless she actually wants you to know this then she’ll push her issues aside and say it straight.

⭐️she’s an artist, she likes to paint, but her family does pottery for a living so she’s also learned how to sculpt

⭐️ now Rina is Ultra femme, but she’s still non-binary, although she doesn’t care too much about what label people give her, which is mostly fem aligning

FINAL THOUGHTS:

dude that first issue was wordy but the kids were ON POINT. they were so fun!! their dialogue is fun and they kick ass.

i loved yi announcing the punishment for casey while the others were like NOO SHE DIDNT MEAN THAT DONT LISTEN TO HER. we're getting more of their personalities and it's great!! it was a nice throwback to issue 2 of lost years when they were cleaning - yi refused to help because of how strictly she was following instructions. im picking up that she might be neurodivergent but i did get that from the lost years too - only doing things within strict instructions, getting frustrated at teaching odyn chess, not because of him playing horseys with the knights but that it was Against The Rules Of Chess - and now not picking up on some social cues. It's nice to see!! I love her very much, but it feels like besides rehashing the origin story she took a bit of a backseat to the other three.

i want to know more about why uno said being a rebel was moja's 'thing', since she didn't seem to be any more rebellious than the other three in this issue. we didn't get any unique interactions between her and casey marie which is what i felt was lacking from lost years but i wonder if this is hinting towards a more turbulent mother-daughter dynamic with them... I REALLY HOPE SO!! her and uno butting heads in a leo-raph way is very fun - i don't mind one or two prior group dynamics leaking into the new turtle siblings because they're all so different from the original 4.

uno seems to be taking on slightly more of a leader role than moja so i think he won the title of fearless leader. which is fine, i think it'll be fun to see and he's definitely less of an asshole now than when he was growing up in lost years. still picking on odyn a bit but seems to snipe at moja just as much. even when he was commenting on yi's storytelling he didn't make fun of her, though - i think she may have inherited the 2k3 don ability of being Completely Unbullyable.

i was really pleased that odyn felt more involved!! i feel like he took the backseat a few times in lost years - it was fun seeing more of his personality shine through! he and yi seem to get on the best, and i giggled at them rolling their eyes at moja and uno's raph-leo schtick. i didn't expect him to TURN TO FUCKING STONE THOUGH, so i'm nervous about that. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHO DID THIS TO MY BOY? IS HE GOING TO TURN BACK NEXT CHAPTER OR IS HE OUT OF COMMISSION UNTIL THE END OF THE RUN??? (if it's the latter i'll be a bit annoyed - don't take odyn away from the equation please!!)

I do wonder if by introducing casually that they can PSYCHICALLY CONNECT, the turtles will use that as a technique to reach odyn's mind to make sure he's still in there and piece together what's happened to him. i mean, their casual telepathy has gotta be some sort of chekhov's gun right?

as always, casey marie... u have aged like fine wine. u are stunning. disappointed that ur still believing that jiro can do good as a cop when their entire police force and government is corrupt as fuck. just feels very naive of her. i'm excited to see her break down at the concept of losing odyn - in fact i need everyone to mourn this beautiful kid. they tell us so much that shes a super clingy helicopter mom and i am picking up on the strict part, but it would be nice to see more of her just... hugging her kids. holding them. i get why she didnt in this issue but id love more mama casey squishing their cheeks and kissing their foreheads.

i have zero fucking clue what's going on with odyn. im wondering if it's somehow related to nano, or to whatever project April is working on - she says it's to do with clearing the tunnels, but I''m not convinced. who knows, there might be some ulterior motive happening.

I read your alien story and found it fascinating so I thought I would write out mine for the first time if you'd be interested in reading.

This took place in Canada, probably about 8 or so years ago when I was 12. I remember it was night time and I was washing my hands in the kitchen sink which had a window above it. I was looking out at the sky and noticed something strange, something that appeared to be a large black triangle was just... completely stationary in the sky. I remember very clearly the aircraft had 3 lights on it, one on each corner of the triangle, 2 red and 1 blue. I grabbed my brother who was beside me looking in the fridge and asked him "what's that up in the air?" My brother's older than me and a decently smart person, so I knew he would give me a reasonable explanation - because I had seen many planes in my life, and this was definitely not that. He looked up at it, and we both watched this black triangle in the sky in silence for a few seconds until it began to *move*. But it didn't move like any other aircraft I had ever seen in my life up until that point for a few different reasons. First of all, this thing simply accelerated at speed, so it didn't gradually speed up across the sky, it went from completely still to darting across the sky in an instant. This thing looked large, and so the speed immediately caught me off guard as something that seemed impossible. The second strange thing I noticed was the silence, planes that I could see so clearly normally made noise, but this thing didn't make any sound at all. The third strange thing was that this aircraft wasn't turning when it changed direction. If whoever was piloting this craft wanted to go left, the craft went left instantaneously without actually turning the ship. I feel like I'm explaining this badly but think of the DVD symbol bouncing around the corners of your TV screen, it didn't turn, just changed direction.

The next amazing thing I noticed was the craft was moving upwards in the same way. It was like whoever was in this huge thing was just playing around in it. This all must have happened in the span of like 40 seconds, and my brother who was just as perplexed as me was trying to go stand out on our porch which is just to the right of our kitchen, but I got really nervous he would be abducted because my mind went straight to all those alien documentaries. I was seriously grabbing him and pulling him back lol because I thought anything capable of moving like that would probably see us standing out on the porch like 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️and we'd wake up with lost time and no memory of the past 24 hours. After our little dispute this thing just paused in the sky again before shooting upward and completely disappearing. It was so fucking strange and I can't tell anyone outside my family because they'll think I'm crazy. I never believed in aliens before this but whatever I saw just seemed so impossible. It seemed like it was so far away from us, which implied the aircraft was very large in size with how big it seemed, and the speed at which it was moving was impossibly fast. While it was happening I was trying to call my sisters and parents who were chilling in the basement watching TV, but they assumed it was unimportant. Maybe I should've screamed that there was literally a UFO out the window but at the time I was in too much shock ig. My sisters always give me shit whenever I talk about this for not being more urgent lol.

That night when I went to sleep I expected to be more afraid after what I just witnessed, especially because it went against everything I had previously thought possible, but surprisingly I felt fine. I think it was because of the way it had paused and blinked straight up.. and had seemed like it had gone so far away that it didn't feel like it had any special interest in our city.

After this all happened my interest in UFOs skyrocketed. I would go on the UFO reddit but this time it went from "this is all bullshit" to "now these people seem a little more credible, let's see if any one has seen anything similar to me". As two kids who hadn't been blessed with smartphones until much later in our lives, I sadly never caught this on video, but that didn't mean that other people in the world had been so unlucky. Throughout the years of browsing these subs there was one specific video that peaked my interest, as it didn't seem like a weather balloon, but rather, kind of similar to what I had seen. The video was of two people filming the sky in what seemed like a very desolate area at night time. There was an aircraft high above them in the air zipping in exactly the same fashion the one I had seen had been, and the people filming on the ground were pointing a high powered laser at it. Whatever was in the air was trying to dodge their lasers and was moving at lightning speeds from one corner of the sky to the other. I'm describing it in case you've seen it (it was one of the top posts at the time) but if you haven't I'll try and find it in the morning cause its 4am now lol. That was the first UFO video I'd seen on reddit that felt like whatever I saw, besides the fact that whatever they were videoing was not a triangle.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed it if you do end up reading this. it feels good telling someone outside my family for the first time. Obligatory I love this blog, and started reading hxh since I submitted an ask about it last time. Kurapika is a much better protagonist than Gon it should've always been this way.

I'm not gonna lie I thought this movie would be shit. It was fucking hilarious and honestly I had a great time. First time I've gone to the theater in a while but I got a gift card from someone who obviously doesn't know me well so I thought might as well.

Great for families! I, a grown adult, had a great time, but so did the kids in the theater. Plenty goes over their heads and it was very Gene Wilder-y (although nothing can truly compare). Timmy Salamander did a great job I honestly forgot it was him even though he changed nothing about himself. The "scratch that, reverse it" was not nearly as cringe as it sounds in the trailer. And the songs were actually fantastic and very well paced!!!!! I don't normally like musicals but... fr the soundtrack was downloadable.

Again, saw in a theater so I didn't have the option to skip but I don't think I would've skipped much! I found myself very invested.

Spoilers:

I don't have much to say in the way of spoilers ig. I did end up crying at the end, it was very sweet and hit right in my emo bone. that's worded weird. u know what i mean. One thing I have to say is how tf is Wonka all like "it's all levers and pulleys" but then has chocolate that makes people fly like girl you are not a fucking normal ass magician that is wack. Hugh Grantloompa was fire I love it. Also how tf did wonka survive swimming miles in the freezing water and then shows up on a ladder with perfectly dry attire. I'm not saying it's meant to be realistic but GIRL.

um... also the detail with the gold paper being in the bar was so predictable but also so sweet and i lost it.

he’s like my only maxed out character and i am not risking the chances of losing a wet towel of a menace

kagetsu had like 8% crit chance and landed on like more than 10 crits in a row.

i like but also dislike the lack of characters in each cutscene. like wtf was everyone else doing when griss was talking to alear? they were clearly right there??? right???

i mean ig it could work as a parallel cutscene to lumera’s death but still.

why tf were they just standing there. they were most likely standing in shock but at least make them closer to alear’s body or smth omg.

so my dumbass made alcryst waltz to lyn’s ring and i realized that i fucked up

had to use the time crystal and go back 2 turns to the very beginning

and replay the battle from scratch.

pandreo (once again) was a fuckin trooper and carried everyone

the emblem rings i assigned the everyone was lowkey random but i let the ai do it for me since i am a lazy fuck

so there was uhhhh alear/roy, alcryst/lyn, kagetsu/lucina, pandreo/corrin (later changed to micaiah), seadall/byleth, rosado/eirika (changed to corrin), clanne/celica, zelkov/eirika, alfred/sigurd, merrin/leif (originally ike) and timerra/ike

i sorta did change timerra’s class to picket pretty late so she kinda died in almost everything but its ok i still love her

i wanted to play around w/ the change class mechanic on the benched units i had (i wanted to give diamant exposure therapy through sage class)

i actually have a good strategy that i didn’t even get to use and i’m pissed.

this is just a one shot alcryst centered strategy. 1) make alcryst engage w/ lyn and dispel doubles, 2) pandreo uses rescue and teleports alcryst close to him n seadall, 3) seadall uses dance on alcryst, 4) astra storm that bitch w/ those sweet chain attacks‼️

this could also help w/ lucina’s all for one skill.

seadall’s dance was a life saver in every battle.

alcryst, kagetsu pandreo and merrin are the biggest carries in my team atm

alear is just… there

in conclusion? always take out the villain when they least expect it.

griss in post-battle chapter 20 telling alear the big fell dragon thing? get his ass from behind.

hyacinth just standing there at chapter 10? pop his old bones

when sombron appeared before alear died? just yank the helmet off of veyle’s head. marni cracked it ffs.

oh yeah and use the time crystal like your life depended on it plot wise.

Really dislikes when people call her by her full first name, and will make her displeasure very vocal. But otherwise doesn't mind it too much

How tall she is, she's 6'11.

She is far more reserved and quiet in public, and she tries to look as tall as possible by having good posture and even wearing thick soled boots. In private she hunches a lot more, and is a lot more crude and loud. If she's really alone, she might even talk to herself quietly, but only if she's absolutely sure no one's around.

4. How do they act around a crush?

She tends to hunch a bit, ask a lot of questions, and are less quiet than usual. She may do some really stupid shit just to try to get some attention too

5. Do they have a “tell” for when they’re lying?

She stares at the person she's lying to, to the point where it's uncomfortable.

6. What do they smell like?

She smells like normal ig? Idk, nothing notable.

7. What is their hair texture like?

She has no hair. So N/A

She doesn't wear much jewelry, but does have a necklace that she got from her parents when she was a kid. The pendant is a metal goat

She really likes the word "discombobulate" and often misuses it.

10. What is a weird quality that they have (ie their hands are always cold, they’re always hungry, they snort when they laugh, etc)?

She does not eat normal food, they only ever eat nutrient paste or other nasty mushy foods. And she tends to make the food as bitter and nasty as possible, just so no one asks for any.

11. What colour do they look strikingly good in?

Purple.

12. How do they show affection to someone they love?

She gets really protective and tends to get as physically close as possible without it being weird. She also tends to be a bit more rough with them than he would a normal friend, pushing them and sometimes even goading them into a fight.

13. Do they make strong/frequent eye contact when they talk to someone?

She does normal amounts of eye contact, except when she's lying, then she's just staring into your soul.

14. What attributes do they have that are inherited from their parents or shared with their siblings/other relatives?

Her family was very rough and would often wrestle, and she would often got into a wrestle with her brothers. This made her both better at fighting, and more rough with the people she likes.

15. Are their greatest flaw and their greatest strength related and in what way? (ie very caring and helpful but a doormat, or very observant and shrewd but often paranoid)

She's very strong and confident, but also very cocky. If she thinks someone is beneath her, then she won't give them much thought until they prove themselves. Often to her detriment

16. How has their childhood affected the way they view an aspect of their life (people, education, society, themselves, etc)?

She grew up in a stable home with loving parents who supported and loved her. Her confidence (and by extension her cockiness) was encourages and she was given the tools to succeed. Her parents really inflated her ego a lot, and made her feel like she was special, which made her a lot more elitist and made her look down on people who she deems underneath her.

This really helped flesh out the character I'm making, I might do another for a different character. Maybe. But anyway, thank you for making this!!

I think after I finish BWNH I’m just gonna write fluff. This is actually killing me I’ve felt bad for like 30 minutes thinking about Finch’s dead in the og. And Aspens mead never died so hee mon never fell to alcoholism and she never got neglected.

And Marlins family in the rewrite is its own can of worms so ig they’re just back to their old selfs. And Marlins back to her old design and past and lore kinda sorta. And she gets along with Wyvern, and Marlin never does anything drastic in desporation abd the world never ended and everythubgs haooy.

okay so 11 is difficult cuz im not a very- planning and future oriented bitchbut id probably have to say its a day where i do things? or have an idea or something?

so maybe like- i wake up and do the shit people normally do when they wake up, yall know the deal- the ideal. actually eat breakfast lol. id go on a walk because even hell knows i need the sunlight, maybe pet a dog in the process. Theres a park by the house so id probably go there for a bit. if its an ideal day im not spending it at home. itd be sunny but not too hot- enough to sunburn tho. wouldnt do much at the park, im not a park person, but maybe id make a temporary friend? like the kind youre never gonna see again but while you were talking you made eachother's day just a bit brighter. i probably would have brought my sketchbook or art tablet and maybe i was able to do a really nice drawing or something. Then i remember theres bugs and that- oh also a nice patch of grass is very important for it to be ideal. kidding i dont really mind dirt. but anyways i start heading back because its noon or approaching noon or something. i have absolutely no endurance tho so at some point i stop and just sit on the curb and watch the road for a bit? idk i think it sounds nice.

Gonna start with Death Island: She should have been the main villain. Death Island wanted sooooo badly to act like it was a sequel to Vendetta, when (as a viewer) it felt like less happened in Death Island than Vendetta. It felt uninteresting at times, not helped by a villain I didn't like from a writing standpoint and whose motivations confused literally everyone who saw the movie.

Okay so i hated the movie. How does Maria as the main villain fix that? Well, first off, her motivation is WAY simpler than Dylan's. She just wants revenge. She has a vendetta, you could say. Chris and Leon killed her father and she wants to make them pay, but she can't just kill them. She has to take away the people important to them in order to do that, since that's what happened to her. So she lures Claire and Jill, Leon and Chris' closest friends respectively, out to Alcatraz as well. That way the "slowly being infected to death while being torturingly monologued at" scene feels warranted and not just a villain being evil and self righteous for its own sake. Maybe make the decision to be CLAIRE who has to be willing to kill CHRIS, since again, the whole family parallels between the Gomezes and the Redfields, and that whole "TerraSave doesn't actually prevent catastrophes" shit. "You wanna do something to prevent tragedy, Claire? Kill your brother before he takes a life." Idk. SOMETHING more impactful than Dylan's bullshit.

That does kinda unfortunately make Chris the protag of Death Island which isn't AWFUL but I did really like Jill being the protagonist of this movie even if the movie was awful to her. Still, I think Chris AND Claire could've been protagonists as a parallel to Maria. Since Death Island made a half-assed attempt to parallel Jill to Dylan it was clearly something they were willing to try.

You can still have Dylan around in this, btw. Maybe set him up as this guy who thinks he's the main bad guy because he's so great and clever and strong and have Maria take him out because HE'S nothing but a pawn for her. And then she launches into her "You killed my father prepare to die" speech @ the protagonists.

Then Maria mutates for a reason that actually makes sense. Rebecca once again synthesized an antidote and foiled her plans, so fuck it, if she can't elaborately allow the people who took away her father to die a slow painful death then she's gonna kill them herself, once and for all. Cue the massive mutation climax, instead of her randomly being stabbed in the titties in that cliche movie thing where the villain is kicking the hero's ass so badly until the hero suddenly lands three hits that give them the upper hand and finish the villain off sorry that part still really bugs me.

Anyway, uh, yeah. Just let her motive be revenge, let it be crushing and personal, and let this movie actually have thematic parallels.

Okay here's the version I actually previously had written for YHSB before this movie was even announced. I've scrapped it, but I liked where I was going with this so I wanted to share. YHSB spoilers ahead, your final warning.

So for the uninitiated, in the BROADEST strokes, Your Heart's Still Beating is a Piers lives fic post 6 that focuses on his recovery, and him taking Chris' roles in 7 and 8. But since he's still in recovery around the time Vendetta would have happened, he wouldn't take Chris' place there, so Vendetta plays out as normal. However, Piers' younger sister, who was in New York at the time, is killed in the A virus incident. So Piers has this aching emotional wound from this one event, and it's devastating. The guy lost his sister, the family member he was closest with and loved dearly.

Once he's in the field again, now a captain, he's assigned to a mission to take out a bioterrorist before she unleashes a new weapon. It's Maria, the sole terrorist survivor of the New York incident. So already Piers has a personal stake in this, she got away unpunished last time, he can't let that happen this time. Maria puts up a fight, she's got some bioengineering done to her DNA ofc, and she takes out/incapacitates most of Piers' team, but Piers corners an injured Maria, ready to take her out, and...well I'll just paste here what I'd partially had written.

“This ends here, Maria,” he declared.

The woman sighed and leaned back against the wall in defeat. “Go ahead,” she said weakly. Blood pooled out of the gunshot wounds in her side onto the dusty stone floor. Her eyes closed and her lips formed the slightest smile. “At least I’ll see my father again.” Piers froze, the end of his gun still trained on the center of Maria’s forehead. Red eyes opened and looked up at Piers, almost seeming innocent. “Do you believe in heaven, captain?” It wasn’t manipulative. It wasn’t spiteful. It was an honest question, one last moment of human connection. 

Piers allowed it. Maria had lost someone that day too, after all.

Thompson stumbled into Piers, still clutching his side. “Captain, what are you waiting for? Shoot her.”

“I-what if she turns?” It was a ridiculous defense, he knew. Thompson sighed at Piers’ incompetence, withdrawing a Beretta and burying a single bullet in Maria Gomez’s skull. Blood began dripping out of the hole in her forehead. Her eyes were still open as the life vanished from them, glossing over.

It's a character moment for Piers for sure, but I like it as a Maria moment too. In people's final moments, faced with certain death, it often says a lot about who they are, and here, she didn't run or try to fight or try to hurt him. She surrendered, because all Maria wanted was to see her dad again.

That's what I would've done with her in my AU at least, though I like how more theatric my Death Island Maria is

i was rlly rlly enjoying that it felt like s11-esque SP again which, my personal fav seasons are like s6-s12 n around there so i was having a blast and then that ending just. pulled down its pants and projectile-shit all over me. it wasnt bad ig it was just. gross which i mean i'd expect nothing less but. yeah idk this is my way of saying cartman nipples ruined a whole special for me. that being said tho that was. probs my fav special yet? ending aside gkfkf

cartman went back to his roots a bit and i LOVED it (pointing guns at people, correctly deducing a situation like a little genius but then drawing a wildly inaccurate conclusion about it like a little moron, I MISSED HIMM), he even bullied butters into helping him like the good ol days n the cartmanbutterstoken combo like christian rock hard made me SO happy theyre such a good trio. cartman w the two boys who call him by his first name... speaking of i love how token calls him eric even tho he hates him.

i love token sm actually he was so good in this special. hes been rlly good lately in general actually, the one good thing to come out of the weed plot has been the black family (...ahh...) getting more screentime and development. tokens highkey the stan of craig and those guys which rlly Makes the rival weed farm parallel bc theyre both just. the normal ass kids next door dealing w insane bullshit. i LOVED his compassion for the little. chuck chuck creature it reminded me of the goonies and it was cute. cartman scoffing in the background was funny but it was rlly sweet n did remind me a lot of goonies which. childhood nostalgia always good. also im a child and the thing squirt-shitting made me laugh KGFKFK toilet humor will always get me bc im a 8 yr old boy ig

it was cool to have an overarching villain again i do think SP handles narratives with like. Big Bads well? idk i never see it praised but i personally enjoy those plots and i liked how it was done here. tho this is a bit morbid, the, er, conclusion of pipi's story reminded me of that ummmmm verruckt incident in kansas (if u kno u kno; if u dont and u google, sorry) and it made me wince. im sure it wasnt intentional but my macabre lil mind drew the parallel n i cringed fff. but i enjoyed the rest of that story

and oh my goodness it was nice to see south park shit on celebrities again FKFKF like TRULY getting back to its roots. felt like classic sp mockery i loved it a ton

ummm what else. OH RANDY oh my lord. when he went back to normal i was like. holy hell i missed this. tht was nice to have back. modern randy can be plenty funny but he's overwhelmingly annoying and played out and the meta behind his plot made me wonder if m&t agree w that sentiment? ik they started using randy as a mouthpiece for themselves once they hit. 40 or 45 or whatever idk when it started but them acknowledging the weed shit was played out (when previous recent eps had had more of a "haha we know u hate the weed shit and WE DONT CARE LOL!!!" stance) was kewl. ik randy reverted by the end but im hoping maybe smth might carry over. and it was nice to see the marshes being. normal n supportive n smiling again. i dont rmr the last time i saw sharon smile ;( and the sacrifice stan made of letting randy do what he needed to do... he sounded so sad. he'd only jus got his dad back. man i luv stan hhh poor kiddo

the karen shit actually made me laugh i thought it was funny. i don't hav any deep thoughts on it it jus amused me
