It really tires me how some fans try to make Aegon look like an asshole who doesn't give a shit about anything. This is a fundamental misunderstanding of his character as such. Of course he cares, that's literally the essence of his personality. He cares. He and Aemond both feel too much emotion, but if Aemond sublimates into self–improvement, trying to be strong, cold and detached, then Aegon is literally an open wound. I want to talk about this, also using Tom's interviews (yes, I think the actor's opinion is valid in this matter) and the few scenes that we have in the first season.
We know that Aegon didn't want the throne and wasn't ready to rule. The scene with Alicent, who explains to him the prospects for the future of their family, seems very traumatic to me. Imagine what it's like to know from your childhood that the lives of people close to you depend on you, on how strong you'll be. Such a burden can destroy anyone. You can't just ignore it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next, we're shown how Aegon drinks on Driftmark. And that's a pretty sad sight - several cups in a row, wincing, as if taking a medicine that will help him to feel better.
Tumblr media
Actually, I like the theory that he gets drunk after Aemond says that Helaena is his future queen. Another reminder that he'll have to marry his own sister, for whom he has no feelings. And he drinks because he tries to numb his pain.
The same goes for his obviously unhealthy attitude towards sex - he uses it to numb his loneliness. I believe that Aegon literally didn't have the opportunity to feel what love is in any form. His father disliked him and showed it openly. His mother loved him, but she never knew how to express it the way he needed to. He was married to his sister (the tragedy for both of them) and it was a matter of duty, not feelings. At the time of the first season, Aegon is deeply unhappy and this is obvious. I have every reason to believe that his need for physical intimacy is based on the fact that this is the only form of love he can receive. Considering that Aegon is quite smart, I even think that he himself understands how ugly this form is, but there's nothing he can do. During the act, I guess in some unhealthy way it really saves him from loneliness, longing and the need to be loved, but in the end it makes him even more unhappy.
Then it's impossible not to remember the eighth episode and the famous:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's still clear that family is important to him. Yes, he feels like a stranger among his relatives, but it hurts him just because he cares. He cries and says "it will never be enough for you or father" because he wants it to be enough. He still loves them and wants them to love him back.
"What Aegon wants more than anything is to be told by his dad ‘I have faith in your capabilities as a young man. I see you bringing prosperity to King’s Landing.’ But he hasn’t said any of those things. His dad has completely ignored him, in fact, throughout his entire youth." (с) Tom Glynn-Carney for Esquire
Next, we can move on to episode nine and the fact that Aegon ran away. I've seen a lot of opinions that this is an indicator of selfishness and like...what? He was scared. This follows from the script:
Tumblr media
He was scared, he'd never leave his family, much less Sunfyre. It was a decision made in a panic when he realized that his father had died and the moment he had feared all his life had come - he needed to accept the crown to protect his family.
During the conversation in the carriage, we see that Aegon was really hurt that his father didn't love him:
Tumblr media
He even said "because he didn't like me" when talking about his father's attitude towards him. He didn't use the word "love" because it was obvious to him that his father didn't love him. He used the word "like", unknowingly emphasizing that he couldn't count on even simple sympathy.
He's also well aware that Viserys could have named him the heir, but didn't do so simply because he didn't want to and because of this, he - the eldest son, feels unworthy of the throne, and also completely lost.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Alicent tells him that Viserys wanted to make him the heir before his death, an emotional dam breaks inside him, it's literally written in the script:
Tumblr media
And at this moment, looking at the dagger, he's not even listening to Alicent, he's completely in his thoughts - maybe, at least for a second, his father cared about him. And when he asks his mother if she loves him, we see how much he craves love, how broken he really is, how important his family is to him.
I know this post is insanely long and I haven't even analyzed the various microexpressions in Tom's acting, but I'm really tired of people wanting to make Aegon something pure evil.
"I also see Aegon as being incredibly complex. He's not an out-and-out psychopath. I see a multilayered character that just has endless potential of pits of vulnerability and empathy and things that we don't see. I think it's his vulnerability that breeds the darkness. It's the way he copes, it's his security, it's his safety blanket, it's an addictive coping mechanism for him to shut things out and to be cold." (с) Tom Glynn-Carney for Entertainment Weekly

Sorry if the request is too weird for you, sometimes I can't tell if I'm being weird.. or just worrying too much, but could I request Slasher headcanon, if the reader gets pregnant? If you're comfort with that
Slashers React to Reader Getting Pregnant
Slashers x Reader (Separate)
A/N: No worries at all! It's a great request, thank you! :)
Warnings: Mentions of pregnancy of course, a mix of angst and fluff (not all Slashers are happy about this)
DARK THEMES: A few of these Slashers will mention not keeping the child (Brahms is especially dark and is a bit Yandere themed).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Freddy Krueger
When you first tell him, he just laughs
There's no way you're being serious right now, right?
But when he sees you're not laughing, his grin turns into a frown
"That kid's not fucking mine"
Becomes angry
Freddy is barely even human at this point, there's no way that he could have had anything to do with your pregnancy
He kicks you out of the dream world and leaves you alone in your room to cry
It takes about a week before you find yourself back in his world, facing a very serious looking Freddy
Instead of him yelling at you like you expected, he just pulls you into a hug
He whispers an apology so low that you can barely hear it
When you pull back, he tells you that he needed time to think it over
But being a father wouldn't be so bad
He could turn the dream world into a kid's wonderland
Plus, he still cares about you
He still doesn't know how this happened, but he's come to just disregard that now
Tumblr media
Michael Myers
Michael does not like children, nonetheless, having one of his own
You knew this, so the idea of telling him just scared you in all honesty
You pushed it off as long as you could until you knew you couldn't wait any longer
When you finally sat him down and told him, he was pissed
Told you to get rid of it
If you decide to, then things pretty much go back to normal
But if you say no, Michael will be gone
You'll wake up in the middle of the night some random time and find that you're alone
His things will be gone and there will be no trace of him
He'll leave enough food and drinks for you to survive a couple weeks
But that'll be it
You'll never see him again
Tumblr media
Jason Voorhees
When you first told him, he literally just freezes up
You don't know what to do, becoming worried he is just going to walk out
But then he suddenly engulfs you in a hug, rocking back and forth
He may not be able to physically show it, but he is ecstatic!
He never thought he'd find someone who loved him, nonetheless want to start a family with him
So the idea that soon the cabin will have a mini you or him running around makes him so happy
Just know that his protective instincts are going to go into overdrive
Will not let you lift a finger
Will engorge you in literally every treat you can think of
And he will not let you leave the cabin unless he goes with you
He's protecting two precious lives now
He won't be flexible on that
But he makes up for it with his attentiveness
He makes less trips out unless you need something
He turns his attention on building a nice crib and area for your future child to rest and play
The idea of being a father just brings a whole new light to him
Tumblr media
Thomas Hewitt
Oh my god
Thomas is floating in heaven right now
You? Carrying his child?
He's quite literally a puddle on the floor
He even begins to cry, inevitably causing your own tears to flow despite doing your best to hold them back
If you thought Thomas already spoiled you too much, expect for it to triple
Will cook for you 24/7
Even when you're not hungry, he still tries to get you to eat something since "you're eating for two now"
Will rub your feet and your back a few times a day, but especially before you go to sleep
And if you have any weird cravings?
He'll get them for you without a single hesitation
Thomas will definitely be the type to kneel down and kiss your belly
He's still just amazed that you could possibly be carrying his child in you
It really triggers his romantic side
Tumblr media
Bubba Sawyer
When you tell him, he almost thinks you're kidding
You have to reassure him a few times before he finally believes you
But once he does, he's jumping and sprinting around the house
He tells his whole family immediately, not being able to hold his excitement inside
He picks you up and twirls you around, placing hundreds of sloppy kisses on your face
Will rub your belly and just stare at it fondly
He'll have trouble letting you do anything on your own though
Even needing to go the bathroom involves him picking you up and carrying you there
He becomes so worried about hurting the baby too
There was a short amount of time where he'd only hug you from behind because he thought hugging you normally would squish the child
He's so caring and yet so clueless
But you better believe that he will be such a loving father
You just need to keep an eye out though, or else Bubba will spoil that baby rotten
Tumblr media
Brahms Heelshire
At first, he has mixed feelings about the situation
The idea that his own flesh and blood is growing inside of you makes him feel... good in a way?
It's like the ultimate possession in his eyes
He's quite literally a part of you now
But at the same time, the idea of raising a child and having to share your attention pisses him off
You're supposed to take care of him and follow his rules, not somebody else's
Even if that somebody else is his own kid
If you choose to stick it out and have the child, you'll notice things seem fine at first
Brahms may even offer to feed and look after the baby while you rest
The issue arises when a couple weeks into taking care of them, Brahms starts to feel cold
The baby requires so much of your attention- too much
They cry and cry and cry and won't give either of you a break
Brahms eventually snaps
You wake up one day to find the baby gone without so much as a trace
Brahms feigns innocence, but you know
Brahms is now for certain that there can only be him
Tumblr media
Norman Bates
You're pregnant?
Oh, he's ecstatic!
He immediately has to tell Mother, of course
He's so attentive with you too after you tell him (not that he wasn't before)
Will keep track of your most common cravings and will stock up on them so you always have them on hand
He's already buying baby clothes at the store too even if you both don't know the gender quite yet
He'll tell little stories to your tummy, always ending them with a soft kiss
You notice that he's even more gentle than normal with you too
The way he hugs you and cuddles you at night is very soft, and he only gives you feather light touches
He's not even aware of it himself
He's always dreamed of raising his own family, but he wasn't sure that dream would ever be a reality for him
But he just knows you'll make a great parent, and he hopes he will too
Tumblr media
Billy Loomis
When you first share the news, you have no idea how he'd react
He never really discussed having kids, and you weren't sure this would be something he'd want
When you told him, he just looked at the ground with a cold expression
When you probed him again, he looked at you
Accused you of cheating
After several times of telling him you didn't, he tells you that he can't do this
He wasn't ready, he was pretty sure he didn't even want kids, how could you do this to him?
This all built up until he stormed out, leaving you there hurt and teary eyed
You don't hear from him for a month
You're certain that's the end of that, and you were going to be left to raise this child alone
But he suddenly comes back, a baby blanket in his hand
To your confusion, he begins to apologize and tell you that he panicked
After taking that time away to think over everything, he realized that the last thing he wanted was to be like his father
He didn't want to just abandon his own child
He ends up sticking with you for the birth and after
Although a little rough around the edges, he ends up becoming a good father and even better partner for you
Tumblr media
Stu Macher
He kind of immediately panics the moment you tell him the news
Not necessarily in a bad way, he just feels so unprepared
Of course, he's thought of creating a family with you
But that was supposed to be like 10 years from now
This feels too soon, and he's not sure he's quite ready for this change yet
But at the same time, he can't ignore his excitement
He loves children, and knowing that you'll be having his very own son or daughter makes his heart warm in a way he didn't think it could
Will spend the night thinking everything over
And by the next day, there's already a crib, toys, and 20 boxes of diapers setting by the bedroom
You're honestly in awe with how quickly he shifted his thoughts from the previous day
Will sit down with you and reassure you that he's going to stick it out with you
Everything will work out as long as you stick together, right?
Stu does love you too
He had no plans of going anywhere
Tumblr media
Eric Draven
You almost begin to worry when you told Eric
He so desperately wanted to start a family with you
You knew this
But you also knew that he didn't want to do that until you were out of this dangerous city and in an area he was certain would be safe
So when you told him the news, you weren't sure what reaction you'd be met with
It was only when a large smile broke out across his face that you felt yourself relax
He lifts you off the ground and hugs you close to him, praising you and telling you just how happy he is
He truly can't believe that he's going to be raising his own child with the love of his life
He didn't even know this was a possibility for him anymore
He tries to lessen the amount of time he spends out at night
He hated leaving you home alone before, but now he has two lives counting on him to keep them safe
He isn't going to risk that
But on the nights that he does lose track of time, he always comes home with a takeout bag in hand, somehow knowing exactly what you want
He even makes a promise to get you both out of this city as soon as possible
He should have done it sooner, but now he has every single reason to do it

what I really want to see is Geta and Caracalla in their late 50s though.
I don't even have content for this post. That's literally it. The whole world of potential for what that could be in any given timeline. Two augusts who actually make it work in the end, despite having the roughest years to start with and the learning curve being the steepest and hardest they ever had to go through? Sunset over a Rome that flourishes, the Forum buzzling with activity, a palace that is a place built to their liking, decorated for them, embellished with symbols and displays of abundance.
What would success look for their characters? Independence or unity? Who would they become, if they were just allowed to grow up?
The opposites are just as plentiful.
A Rome that they've ruled the same way they started: military campaign after military campaign, war after war. Constant fluctuation of borders, inwards and outwards, people who resent them for all that they take, but should they learn to command, there is little the population can do to rebel against that. Some power runs deep even if it doesn't know how to govern and rule. Famines are common, plagues reap down weakened populations. They don't care, because all they see is what they've made of themselves unto eternity. View from the Palatine both subdued and scorched. Poorer people, less goods to sell, higher prices, fewer strollers. Nobody wants to walk the streets at night, it's not enough to push all the beggars back out of the city, the slums grow in size and take over areas that were previously growing in power and influence.
Or they've been ousted outright. One riot breaks through the apathetic guard lines. They're tired, too. They don't care about these tyrants, their lifestyles, when the world burns around them. Rome does, too, and the only options are to leave now and not look back or be killed. And at 58, Geta's arm still doesn't have its full range of motion from the blade that cut it. Caracalla's been both better and worse for the lack of reliable access to opium. The pains he gets are bad, even if there's no visible injury. He'll never make it to 68, but they still have a few years, gods willing. Sharing a villa somewhere on the coast, having lived in exile for the best part of their lives, with only a modest amount of wealth and no political power worth mentioning, by the graces of relatives whose own claim to power depends on them.
Wives? Children? Nominally, at least, probably. Geta's more invested, Caracalla's... not. He has more dead children than living, congenital syphilis is not a good start to life, but he hasn't held back from trying. It's the trying part he cares about the most, the rest is what it is, and it won't hurt him if he doesn't let it close. I don't think he'd marry, but that won't mean he's not involved, and it's probably not steady going on that front. Or for long with anyone specific. It's hard to form attachments, and he's poison to stay near like that. Russian roulette; you'll bear the price of it if you spend too many nights, and then nobody else will ever have you again. If he won't marry you and you know it, then you either have no choice but to stay, or you'll leave before it shows. Geta might have a closer relationship with his wife, should he take one - and he likely would, if only to carry on the bloodline. He would be practical about it: have (and recognise) only children that are born into a union, bastards breed instability and uncertain futures even more often than legitimate ones do. He'd love the children he does have, or at least still remember their names even on his off-days. But having no father figure who would have taught him how to be a father himself in turn, and only ever having known how to be the protector of his brother with no experience of loving care towards himself, he would not be a good father. He wouldn't know where to start and the fear of becoming a shadow of his own father would keep him at a distance. Better if he keeps to himself, but he'd be proud - and disappointed, and worried, sometimes frantic - from that distance, then.
Or maybe it wouldn't come to that. Maybe they have none; let this line die, let Rome burn in their absence. Maybe they'd both have some, and have to live with knowing that the history is full of brothers and cousins killing one another, sister and mother, for the crown, that every child raised into their world is another's worst fear, and that it never ends. Maybe they'd have one to their name and raise it like there was no difference to whose side the child came from. They've already shared everything else, why start drawing the lines here? It's their blood, in the end, that flows through those veins too.
They could have their quarters on the opposite ends of the estate, have them be roomier and more luxurious, but they never stop housing right next to each other. It's a small price to pay for being able to knock on the other's door at night to speak of what's keeping them awake this time. Doesn't matter if the other stays awake for it, just the comfort of being together is enough. And for that matter, Caracalla's never stopped crawling into Geta's bed at night when he's feeling his worst and Geta, for almost 60 years now, has chosen to never bring this up, to him or anybody else. And if he does take a wife? She won't get an answer from him when she questions it, because this, more than anything, more than being a ruler or an heir or an exile or a father or a husband, is what Geta needs to be - a foundation, a shelter from storms, to his brother. And Caracalla, regardless of who he grows to be, how long his infection allows him clarity, won't stop needing that shelter, either. But there's nothing you can say to make someone understand, someone who didn't spend their first 20 years fearing the very rooms they lived in, for everything that could hurt them if they weren't there for each other. When no one else was, and you knew that wasn't going to change.
I just need to see them grow up and become what they will in a thousand different ways, and that's the post.

Hello! Yet another headcanon ask, cause I've been loving the headcanons around Danny and Sam and what Danny consciously or unconsciously seeks out of a relationship and I crave m o r e.
What are your headcanons around what Manny wants or needs out a relationship? Also also, what would you say drew Manny to Danny the most and vise versa?
The tl;dr is that Manny fell first but Danny fell harder lol
I think that what Manny looks for in a relationship is someone that can keep up with him, someone that won't judge him for the decisions he makes, and someone that will stick by his side no matter what. That's why he 'dated' Frida for a whole year when they were high schoolers because their friendship technically fit the bill; it was just missing the romantic attraction part.
Growing up, Manny got a lot of love from the people around him. His mother, father, and grandpapi all showered him in it. Even when emotions run high and they fought with each other, things were usually resolved quickly and ended up with both sides explaining themselves. This also makes me believe that Manny developed a strong belief that it's healthy to get into arguments with the people you love because it shows you care enough to be open about your feelings with them.
However, on the flip side of that, I also headcanon that Manny will realize near the end of high school that his plan for the future doesn't necessarily match the vision his family has for him. It starts innocent enough, with Rodolfo making his usual comment about Manny being a full-time superhero in the future and Grandpapi auguring that Manny should be a full-time supervillain instead. This is nothing new, they have this argument all the time. But then something new gets added to the mix; Rodolfo throws a new hypothetical at Grandpapi, saying that once Manny gets married and has children, being a supervillain would just put his hypothetical family in danger. Grandpapi shoots back and says that villainy would pay much better, after all, "How do you think I was able to afford to build this entire house on top of an apartment complex???"
Manny just continues eating breakfast as usual, but this time the fight nags at the back of his mind. They both expect him to chose one side or the other eventually, but in all honesty, he doesn't want to. He doesn't feel torn up about it, like the original El Tigre did. In fact, he's extremely happy where he is, being able to indulge in whichever side of the hero/villain coin when he wants. But as time goes on and the argument between his dad and grandpapi repeats, he starts to feel more and more pressure to live up to their expectations. (Plus at this point in time I believe he's nearly graduated high school and already dated and broken up with Zoe/Black Cuervo and come to the realization that he's bisexual).
Any time that Manny tries to bring up the 'I don't want to chose.' argument with his dad and grandpapi, they would both wave off Manny's choice, saying that one day he'll have to pick like they did and being outright dismissive (not intentionally though, because the concept of it just still so foreign to them they can't wrap their heads around being both a hero and a villain) . This starts to reasonably frustrate Manny, since no matter how many times he explains himself, they won't see his side of the argument. It also starts to make Manny's anxiety simmer (which he inherited from his mother), because they're his family. They've always been by his side and even when they didn't agree, it never took long for them to talk things out. Why was it taking so long this time for them to understand him?
It would be around this time, that the OG Nicktoons Unite Gang would drop by Miracle City for the first time. Cross-Dimensional Villain of the week would be wreaking havoc in the city, so Manny and the Unite gang team up to take care of them. During the team up, I believe that Manny would instantly be drawn to Danny. Not in a romantic sense, but kinda in the "Holy shit he's so fucking cool, I have to be his friend at ALL COSTS." sense.
It's mostly in part because Danny reminds Manny so much of himself, yet seems so confident. They don't get much time to talk, but Manny's able to pick up that Danny's in a very similar situation; stuck between being a part of two conflicting worlds and constantly struggling to find balance between them. They actually click pretty much instantly with their banter during the brief team-up. So much so that it feels like they've known each other for years (Danny's sassy wit matches Manny's bravado and confidence in a playful way). That's why when the villain is subdued and everyone leaves, Manny doesn't feel the same sort of satisfaction he does when he takes down El Oso or The Mustache Mafia. In fact, he just let four super cool guys walk through a portal without any sort of hope or grantee he'd ever see them again.
There aren't a whole lot of superhero kids in Miracle City. The few that are around, Manny wouldn't really count as anything more than an acquaintance because there's always a disconnect between them (look at the Rising Son, who instantly turns on Manny the second that it's revealed Manny does a little bit of villainy). He's got a better rapport with the villains his age. Heck he even secretly hangs out with Django and a few others on occasion as civilians. However the villains give him even more flack than his grandpapi whenever he he starts leaning towards heroism, so he usually leaves their hangouts not feeling socially satisfied. Thankfully tho there seems to be a semi-regular occurrence of dimensional hopping supervillains - about once every two months - so Manny gets to see the Unite gang a handful of more times (the second time he sees them he instantly latches onto Timmy's arm and begs to get his contact information; he's much more suave about it by the time he gets around to asking everyone else, he just panicked upon noticing the pink hat and assumed they'd all leave as soon as the villain was caught.)
Near graduation when his anxiety is at it's peak, Manny will get a message from Jimmy, asking if Manny would be interested in joining the team more permanently. he instantly jumps at the opportunity (and then from there it's basically the plot of Desde el Principio lol).
Like I mentioned, I imagine that Manny didn't see Danny as anything more than a friend at first. Even though he personally acknowledged that Danny was handsome, Manny ignored that because he REALLY wanted to be friends with Danny. He constantly was engaging Danny in conversation (both irl and texting, once Manny officially joined the team). But since Manny doesn't really read social cues like everyone else, he didn't pick up that Danny was uncomfortable about discussing personal ghost stuff, so of course Manny continued to ask questions about it. It was all innocent of course (How does your green lazer thing work? How long can you stay invisible? Have you met any cool dead people?), and while the rest of the gang kinda tensed up when Manny started asking these questions (Danny included) it was surprisingly therapeutic for Danny to talk about this stuff.
Manny accepted all of Danny's answers at face value. If Danny lied about something and said, "I don't know." Manny would offer up his own suggestion (usually wrong) about how Danny's powers might work. Seeing how nonchalant Manny was about this stuff (Danny originally though that Manny might be weirded or freaked out) actually would make Danny lower his guard and start to be truthful about his halfa life. It's part of the reason why he fell for Manny in the first place, just because it became so easy to be around him. If he needed someone to talk to, something to be a nonsense-filter for the thoughts in his head, he knew Manny would never judge him for anything he might say. If he was having a really bad day and said he just wanted to sit around silently, Manny would hold him quietly until he felt better (or fell asleep).

Hey guys,,,,guess whos not dead?!
Teen Dad Logan :)
Or, I suppose more accurately, Young Dad Logan. And by adjacency, Uncle Dad Victor.
This turned out to be one of my largest pieces of writing ever Bee-Tee-Dubs so its going to be under this to not Kill You All:
So in this AU they meet when they're 10 and 11, Jimmy just out of foster care after they found out he's a mutant, and Vic a few weeks after murdering his Father.
At first, it's honestly Jimmy showing Victor a lot of things. Simple things, like how to forage and how to scent, but it's all...quiet. Jimmy already carries a sense of shame for his ferocity that Vic never enjoys. So he draws the kid into fights, helps him laugh until his face is red with laughter instead of shame. He learns about him, and in turn Jimmy learns about him. Happy enough kids until things turned south. One was locked up and the other ran away. They escaped and found each other. It was meant to be.
Victor gives him his new name. Jimmy hasn't felt like His in a long time and the first time Vic calls him Logan, he beams.
Vic still calls him Jimmy when he's scared, but it's their little secret.
Anyways, they stay rough and tumble until The developers in the Weapon X project find them, aged 14 and 15 respectively. It's Victor's idea that they stay. Logan, for all his desires to settle down, feels chafed by the military, but Vic sees through that, see's what they could be, in the future. See's him and his Runt living free after serving, what's a few years as lab rats if they get all their adult life? What's being looked at like a monster when he's allowed to be a monster and still get schooling? Logan doesn't think any of these things, but when Vic nods, he does too.
They're only allowed to be together for the first three months, and then their forced apart, to 'reduce codependency'. They last two years without each other, and when they're reunited...things are different.
Creed has grown into his role, with each murder proving that his dad wasn't special, he's always been meant for this, how dare Anyone Try to stop him. He's become an Animal. Sabretooth.
And Wolverine....is Wolverine now. But doesn't take long before Vic realizes somethings wrong. Wolverine glances at him, but there's no glint of recognition in his eyes. As Creed starts to question him, he thinks it's a clone. So he Kills It.
Its only the third time Logan revives and puts his claws through Creeds chest that Creed realizes it's his runt. Still, being forgotten stings, being ignored stings worse, and there's a lot more blood shed before the guards are able to separate the two.
Safe to say they butt heads a lot more. Vic goads him often, word for word the way he used to, and like a house of cards, Wolverine always folds. The only times he seems to come back to himself for a moment, are the moments after Creed's killed him, and he's just waking up. He'll get a look on his face, one Vic recognizes. He's seen it a hundred of times before, even if the runt always tried to hide it:
Fear. Exhaustion.
They never talk. Victor pets his hair as Logan's throat is rapidly sewing itself back together, or Logan rumbling under Vic's body as his puncture wounds close. In those moments, Logan Remembers.
...
It all starts to fall apart when one Logan Howlett, at the fresh age of 18, is chosen to become Weapon X.
Creed sees red. This was HIS goal, His to earn, that stupid brat doesn't even want to be here, Logan doesn't even remember why he's-
He doesn't even remember why he came here in the first place.
But Sabretooth is smart. He figures out when, and where, they're going to do the operation. And obviously, he bursts in.
As he does, he overhears a Commander noting that they should 'wipe wolverines mind clean one last time, to make sure he's only obedient to them.
And that is First Strike.
Victor lashes out, taking down a doctor and a guard before anyone can blink. But his noise distracts the surgeons and other doctors carefully monitoring The Wolverine's Adamantium intake, and one of them nudges their controls in their scramble to get away, pushing significantly more onto his skeleton than originally planned.
Victor stops when he hears screaming.
Logan hears....nothing. He knows the procedure is going to begin, but he doesn't know when. When the burning starts, he goes to that little place in his head he pretends he doesn't have. He sees flashes of Creed's face, snarling and smiling, and he feels...safe. He sees white, and red hair and...hears yelling. His eyes open, and immediately close as salt water rushes into them. He breathes unsteadily through his
The water stops draining but the burning doesn't stop. Worse, his head feels like it's being torn apart, a feeling he remembers but can't name. And suddenly, nothing matters because,
Sabretooth is calling him Jimmy and why why WHY DOES EVERYTHING HURT OW OW OW OW OW OW Victor help please please plEASE PLEASE VICTOR VIC-
...
Safe to say the adamantium causes even more psychological damage to them.
There is one single benefit: The Memory Adjustment failed. In fact, it failed so bad that Creed, for three whole days, get's Logan to himself.
They don't do much. Logan wakes up and launches himself at Vic, legs collapsing as his ligaments struggle to accustom themselves to the weight of his new bones. He's in constant pain, mostly just looking at Vic with big, sad brown eyes until he lies back down with him on the shitty Hospital ordered bed. It creaks under them, but thankfully never gives.
When they do talk, they don't talk about the memories. About Wolverine gutting Sabretooth to prove a point, about Sabretooth biting out his spinal chord, about Wolverine ripping out his teeth in claws. None of it matters. They know it can't last. Creed didn't plan, and Logan is too weak to think, not that he does much of that in the first place.
After those days of clarity post operation, Logan is wiped clean. And for the next year, it's back to normal. For Wolverine at least.
But of course, Logan has to beat him to the punch. Literally.
Around a month after the one year anniversary of his Surgery, Wolverine comes Bursting through the training rooms, with twenty guards hot on his trail. Sabretooth, a Predator, Obviously follows. Logan runs and runs and runs, and eventually rips the door of a particular room, to reveal...
an eerily large room filled with tubes. There's wires and things being suspended in liquid, and at first, Victor can't comprehend what he's looking at. By the time he reads 'X-02', Doner Wolverine, Logan's already broken three of the tubes with his claws, uncaring of the thick glass cutting him open in retribution for being shattered.
people go flying, and as they hit equipment the room itself begins to collapse, separating Sabretooth from Wolverine. Wolverine continues through the rooms, ensuring that there's nothing deeper inside that can help them make more of him. He has enough nightmares. Sabretooth stays back to help finish the job. All those tubes don't destroy themselves, you know?
He finds a room full of his samples, and a woman in a chair. A woman with a bullet in her neck instead of her head. Poor thing had probably gotten caught in between him and the guards. But why was she just sitting-
The woman has a baby in her arms, tubes still attached. He growls for a moment, moving to finishes her off, but freezes when she and she's groans.
"Laura...Laura..."
Logan looks at her little beady eyes, mousy brown hair, and knows...she's his.
Before he's even thought about it she's cradled in his arms, evidently all wrong because she starts to wail and Vic skids in, shoulder denting the doorframe as he stops and stares at the scene in front of him.
The woman gives one final shudder, and her head lulls. Dead.
Still, there's no time to think. Victor hears thuds getting closer to the room, and as he looks to his right he realizes there's only one way out. The window. Oh well.
with a swear, he lifts Logan by the back of his jacket and gives him a shove, and his back goes strait through the paneling and out of the fourth story. Victor whoops, and follows him down. By the time he's already made his much more elegant landing, Logan is groaning and cussing him out as much as his winded lungs will let him, which is a surprising amount. Still, Vic scruffs him again and sets him on his feet, and nods in the direction of the woods.
"Lets go"
And they do.
They end up being surrounded by the X-Men somewhere in Maine and are "Invited" to Stay at Xavier's school. Logan decides for them this time. A house, a promise that the government will be dealt with for them, and that he can get all of his memories back are very good motivators. And they an finish their education.
Victor actually...enjoys classes. He likes being smart, and it's easy. Logan does Charter school. He had lasted exactly a week in public education before deciding that if he had to deal with one more idiotic comment from one of those stupid fucking kids he was going to-
Well. His words were Not Child Friendly, so he made sure to cover his kid's ears. Besides, he's bonded with fellow teen Rogue and preteen Jubilee and Kitty (his daughters) like little sisters, but he never really settles unless he's with his Kid. His Laura.
He had to fight to keep her, a young unstable mutant like him was not the ideal parent, but for the first two months, she sobbed if anyone else held her, terrible screeches, and would reach for him to the point of falling out of peoples arms. And, he had imprinted on her to. He swore he could tell when she was happy or uncomfortable before she could, would burp her or flip her back onto her back before she got fed up with tummy time.
Vic is Terrified of touching her but refuses to admit it. He carefully runs his finger down her pudgy little cheek, in awe of her soft skin against his knuckle, when she moves suddenly, and she attempts to nuzzle her way into his palm. He, obligingly, opens his hand. When one of his claws scrapes her hair, he freezes, waiting for her to cry out. Instead, she burbles happily, honey brown eyes giving him long, slow blinks.
She likes his head scratches the best.
Logan sometimes falls asleep with her on his stomach on the couch, leaving Victor to carry him AND his clingy baby back to bed, the crib next to them so Laura can still grab onto Logans finger. They sleep together now, in a nest of blankets and pillows, Logans hand always off the bed but still somehow still touching Vic, as if to make sure he's still there.
Their codependency is back full swing, and the only time they can be reliably separated is when Vic goes to school, because he goes with Scotty, and the Boy Scout would never let anything happen to another mutant, even if that mutant makes him want to shoot him with his laser-beam full power just to see what would happen.
Thankfully, because of Victors presence, the Mind Adjustment does actually work, but it leaves Logan questioning his parallel memories for years. In the process they realize that...Victors memories have been tampered with too.
But that, is a story for another time.

thinking a lot about uncle sokka being such an important influence for bumi as a fellow nonbender and assuaging a lot of the guilt and fear of not being Enough and also encouraging bumi's creative mind
i imagine bumi was probably a mean little shit about it at first because no he's gonna be the best bender there ever was he's not like dumb uncle sokka, you'll see
and of course sokka doesn't take offense to this because bumi is just a kid with the weight of the future of the entire air nation on his shoulders and he knows what it means to need to prove yourself to your dad, but at the same time he sees so much of himself in bumi and it hurts to see that spiral of anxiety and shame twisting itself in such a young kid, hurts even more to see the budding self-loathing for not being Special that took sokka so long to untangle, so he tries to get ahead of it by gently suggesting that being a nonbender isn't so bad, trying to show him all the cool and practical things you can do without bending, and reminding him katara and aang will still love him no matter what — but bumi is so resistant to the idea because it's unfathomable for him, as the only child (at this point) of the avatar and the greatest waterbending master alive, to be anything other than a prodigy
so bumi tries and tries and fails and fails and this goes on for years — he meditates (boring, he can't sit still that long), he learns bending forms (but he's never good at remembering them, always messing them up bc he wants to do it his Own Way), he trains and trains and trains (maybe he's actually an earthbender or a firebender like uncle zuko, his dad's the avatar, he could be anything!) — until his baby sister kya shows early signs of being a bender and bumi's whole world comes crashing down around him. he thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't alone, if kya was Like Him (but he still won't admit it to himself, that he's Normal, that he'll never live up to all those expectations), but as soon as kya makes water so much as ripple bumi panics out of fear of rejection
maybe he even runs away because he's so scared his parents won't want him now that they have their bender, that they don't need him because he's not like kya and probably never will be, that they never wanted him because why else would they want another kid if not because he wasn't what they expected? so he takes off on appa (so much like his own father in ways he doesn't even realize, only he isn't running away from perceived destiny but rather perceived lack thereof) and doesn't look back. maybe if he goes to the southern air temple he can find that Thing in himself to become a bender, to be just like his dad, and surely appa just Knows the way there right?
but like everything else in his life, he can't even do this one thing right, he can't even run away without failing — aang and katara got the whole gaang back together to look for him, and bumi only made it as far as the east coast of the fire nation bc he failed to realize appa can't just fly forever. everyone is so relieved to find him safe and while aang and katara are sort of baffled as to why bumi felt like he had to run away bc of course they love him and will always love him where did he get the idea that they don't want him, sokka is like Ah. I See. It's Happening.
(sokka, i think, was rightfully concerned that aang and katara might not have seriously considered what it would mean to raise a nonbender bc that simply isn't their experience and they were probably also operating under the assumption that having a nonbender child would be a statistical impossibility between the two of them despite sokka probably having actual real data to suggest that bending, actually, is the anomalous factor regardless of if one of you is bending georg the avatar [who is, for the record, the definition of a statistical outlier], and there is probably a pretty big i told you so moment around this time)
because of course sokka Gets It, he understood before bumi even accepted the fact that he'll never be the next airbender, and he's there when bumi feels like he's drowning in disappointment, he's there for basically the five stages of grief for the person bumi desperately thought he was and will never be, he's there to remind bumi that he still has an Identity even if it's not the one he was hoping for, he's there to tell bumi stories about all the amazing things he's accomplished in his own life and all the amazing things his grandfather accomplished, both of them nonbenders, and that there's more to life than just weird powers
bumi never really picks up on the more scientific stuff sokka tries to teach him, but in a sense he's sort of like bumi's piandao and teaches him what it means to be a warrior and a leader and is there to nurture all the wacky shenanigans bumi gets into and praises him for always thinking outside the box — and getting to train with sokka makes it hurt a little less that kya gets to train with katara and tenzin gets to train with aang (which is a sore spot he's never been able to fully articulate, this jealousy of tenzin being the thing bumi should've been). training with sokka and seeing his own potential makes bumi feel like maybe he is worth something and can be someone, even if he still feels like he needs to come up with crazier and crazier shit to get his parents to notice him (sometimes, of course, to the point of exaggeration) and thinks that being rambunctious and ridiculous are his only redeeming personality traits
and when bumi is old enough, sokka takes him ice dodging and for the first time in his life, bumi finally feels that profound sense of accomplishment and belonging he was always looking for when he thought he still might be a bender — and, just like sokka before him, he receives the mark of the wise for demonstrating creativity and ingenuity during his trial. his methods might have been unorthodox, but so were sokka's, and while bumi may not physically be an airbender, he knows how to think like one, and sokka is so so proud to see him come into his own as a strategist and a leader, to finally see that true confidence shine, to see bumi determinedly forge his own path in making the world a better place, even if some of bumi's ideas are borderline insane
there's probably also a lot of complex feelings happening when bumi eventually does become an airbender after harmonic convergence, because on one hand, this is the one thing he's always wanted, right? he can finally live up to all those expectations and prove to his dad that he's not a failure (despite all his accomplishments in the united forces). but on the other hand, it feels almost like a cruel joke bc he spent so much of his life accepting who he was as a nonbender and now he gets the weird powers after all that work to be content with who he was? and the only person who ever understood is gone, so who does he even turn to? (would sokka be happy for him? disappointed? proud? upset? freaked out? he'll never know)
anyway i just think. bumi and sokka. are very important.

MK1 Character Writing Review
I'm curious about other fans' opinions on MK1's character writing. Personally, I think it's improved most characters but there are some issues.
Ashrah: I'm happy she's back because Ashrah was the 3D-era character I wanted to return. I really like that they kept her story from the 3D era but improved it. I'm curious to see if she'll get corrupted by the Kriss in the next game.
Baraka: His story improved immensely. I never cared for Baraka in the previous games since he wasn't developed enough and was just one of Shao Kahn's henchmen. Baraka being a victim of Tarkat makes him more sympathetic and interesting. I hope he gets a happy ending but I think he'll die in the later games.
General Shao: I'm a bit disappointed in how he was written. I was hoping we'd learn about his past and how it affected his personality. Shao was born with a weak body, so I expected his father to be abusive by forcing Shao to go beyond his limits. This would cause Shao to believe being strong is the only thing that matters. Hopefully, the next story portrays Shao as more than a stock villain.
Geras: I really liked this version of Geras compared to MK11's since he's more than Kronika's minion. He's loyal to Liu Kang but they are friends/partners, and Geras wants to protect Liu Kang's timeline because he believes in its potential.
Havik: I was really interested in learning about Havik, his powers, and the Chaos realm. I was disappointed that Havik was a minor character and his powers weren't explained. I heard that there will be a story taking place in Seido/Order Realm so I'm crossing my fingers that we'll have a great story for Havik and other Order/Chaos realm characters.
Johnny Cage: His backstory and personality didn't change that much which I'm glad for because MK9-11 Johnny had one of the best character arcs in that era. I really enjoyed his bromance with Kenshi and his comedic moments were really fun (my favorite was the Alien reference).
Kenshi: Kenshi's story was already good but it was improved upon and explored further. Kenshi wanting Sento to protect his family from the Yakuza and bring back the Taira clan made me sympathize with him, and actually seeing how he loses his sight was horrifying and broke my heart. His bromance was Johnny was one of my favorite parts and I hope they are in future games together.
Kitana: I found Kitana kind of bland. Unfortunately, with her old goal of wanting to be an Empress going to Mileena, she lost what made her interesting. She felt more like Mileena's sidekick rather than her own character. Maybe that'll change in future games since she's a part of Mileena's council.
Kung Lao: Kung Lao was likable and enjoyable. I don't have much to say other than that. I want the next story to explore his ego/arrogance and why he has that attitude. Although I really like Raiden as Earthrealm's champion, I sort of wish Kung Lao was the champion since he's wished for that opportunity for so long.
Li Mei: Li Mei is an okay character. She's kind of boring since she's a "follow the rules" character. Her and Sindel's friendship was the most interesting aspect of her. Li Mei's powers are really cool though, and I'm a big fan of Kelly Hu (her va).
Liu Kang: Having Liu Kang as Earth's protector and Time Keeper made his character more interesting compared to him being the "Chosen One." I am slightly disappointed in the way he was written. I expected/wanted Liu Kang to be a neutral good character where he's willing to do bad things to keep the peace. They kind of did that with Liu Kang creating meaningless lives for Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi, but he was never called out for those decisions. I also wanted the other characters to start questioning Liu Kang about why there are still tragedies occurring and why doesn't he intervene. Though we get it in the battle intros, I wanted it explored in the story. The writing for how Liu Kang's time powers was also pretty unclear. The power's restrictions were never specified so it's not obvious which events in the timeline are Liu Kang's mistakes or not.
Mileena: Adored her in this game! I love seeing Mileena happy for once with a loving family and a good life. I expected her to be overtaken by Tarkat the whole but was happy to see her with a regular mouth for most of the game. Having her as Empress is really interesting and can't wait to see more of that.
Nitara: I really wanted to like Nitara, yet she's so bland. I thought we would learn about Vaternius, and see Nitara being a truly neutral character. Compared to the other 3D characters in the game, she was the most disappointing.
Raiden: This version of Raiden is way more likable than previous iterations. He's nice, humble, handsome, and strong. He's literally the perfect man! I'd like his anger issues from the previous iterations to be developed in the next story. His anger would get out of control after a tragedy and he feels like being more ruthless is more beneficial to protecting everyone.
Rain: I don't have much to say about Rain. He's kind of boring and was sidelined in the game. Maybe he'll have some kind of connection to Delia and Argus, which will introduce them to the new timeline.
Reiko: Reiko's okay. The only thing I'm really interested in is his relationship with General Shao and it's mostly me wondering whether Shao is capable of caring/loving someone.
Reptile: Love this rendition of Reptile! Like Baraka, Syzoth is more complex and isn't only Shao Kahn's minion. He has one of my favorite designs in the game and his backstory shows the issue of internal racism. The only thing I'm iffy about is his family that was murdered was his wife and son since that is very similar to Baraka's backstory to losing his wife and children to Tarkat. Plus, it's kind of weird that he moved on with Ashrah relatively quickly. I would've preferred if his family were his parents or siblings.
Scorpion: At first, I was a bit iffy about Kuai Liang being Scorpion but think it was a good choice since it makes the rivalry between the Lin Kuei and the Shirai-Ryu more personal. I'm excited to see how his and Sub-Zero's story moves forward.
Sindel: Good queen and mom Sindel is best Sindel! She was very likable! I had a feeling she would die in the story though her soul being absorbed into Ermac was unexpected. I'm interested in where this story will go.
Shang Tsung: I really enjoyed how sassy Shang Tsung was, and was glad he was the main villain after so long. The only thing I'm disappointed in is we didn't see more of his backstory. Also, the idea of Shang Tsung being evil all along NRS was going with was pretty lame. I wanted to see whether Shang Tsung was truly born evil or if was he made that way because of his hardships. It being the latter would've been intriguing because it means Liu Kang technically created Shang Tsung.
Smoke: Smoke is a sweetie, but didn't have much going for him. I was really interested in Smoke when he was in MK9 so I expected him to have his own chapter and develop. Maybe the Lin Kuei/Shirai Ryu war will give me that.
Sub-Zero: I hoped Bi-Han would be an interesting antihero instead of a generic villain. His betrayal is fine, but I wish he was more indecisive or slightly regretful of his choice since he lost his brothers. For example, when he slashed Kuai Liang's eye, I wanted to see him be regretful and sorry for hurting his brother. We didn't get that, which is one of the biggest disappointments of the story.
Tanya: I'm neutral with Tanya. Personally, her role and personality are too similar to Jade's. She felt like a totally different character who happened to have the same name as the original Tanya. Changing a character's story is okay, yet there should be some part of the original iteration that stays. I do find her and Mileena super sweet and I hope they live a happy life.

Tumblr media
Hello- hi- I'm sorry for so little updates but hey, new stuff for things you check my page for-
I have been working on the rottmnt thing don't worry for whoever wanted to see that, but this post is mainly for something else
Tumblr media
And that something else is Psychonauts, that's right, I collaborated with @doodle17 to make a Psychonauts au called Welcome new campers! (Also tw for mentions of abuse and murder)
--------------------------------
This au is a future au that mixes bits of doodle's own future au and new characters, but unlike that au it mainly focuses on the kids over at Whispering rock and the new interns which I can tell you a bit about now and give some picrew visuals (or at least the closest I can to how they look and I'll try to find the links to the ones I used and add them later, but I wanna get this out first)
First: Sora Elliott Zanotto
Tumblr media
Sora is one of the older campers coming in at the age of 14, he used to live with his father who normally abused him and his mother before she was murdered by him and he got away with it over lack of evidence and he bribed the jury. During the time he still lived with his father he used camp as a way to escape his home for a few months where he learned how to use pyrokinesis before ending up getting adopted by Lili. He dresses like a gay little emo (cuz that's what he is) and he hates most people cuz trust issues, but will warm up to you if you start talking about music or bands he likes. He has a bit of medical knowledge cuz he would try to help his mother whenever he could when she was alive, including stitches and bandaging up wounds, he can even do a minor surgery if he's asked to.
Second we have the twins: Callie and Milo Tucker
Tumblr media
Callie and Milo are some of the younger campers at the age of 9. They're little balls of chaos who love to mess with people and cause mischief. Callie love to levitate out of people's reach and throw water balloons at them while Milo (who can see the dead) just loves to throw people away with telekinesis so he can talk with his ghost friends alone, he really only let's Lili, Milla or D'art get close. These two have older sister that will be talked about later and two parents who have a hard time dealing with them most days. Their clothes match most of the time and they love it, makes them feel special to one another. But yeah, they're chaotic, they're cute, and I love them.
Third: Marshall Watts
Tumblr media
He's one of the only non psychics on this roster, being one of two. He's an intern who's just there to help with paperwork. Not too much is known about him other than that he's a psychic fan boy. He's also Sora's partner that Raz doesn't really like for whatever reason.
Next is is the start of doodle's little friends and I love them: Margo Teef
Tumblr media
(Note: I copy and pasted all of this from a convo doodle and I had) He was raised by his non-psychic grandparents after his mom left when he was a baby and his father was nowhere to be found. Other than that, he's had an okay life, other than the fact he couldn't afford a way to get to and participate at camp which made him really sad. It ended up in him actually sneaking into the camp and running into his hero Raz! (But he had no idea it was raz at first) his personality is pretty simple. He's kind of shy, but always up for an adventure, as well as being super nerdy lol. If you bring up something about comics or the Psychonauts he'll start rambling for hours put of nowhere.
And next: Natalie Fealt
Tumblr media
She's a punk girl who isn't afraid to tell you how things are. She lived with her dads and still kinda misses them now that she lives in the dorms at the motherlobe. She interns under Adam but is a little upset that she didn't get Lizzie or Lili as her mentor, but Adam is nice enough.
Now we have one of my favorite little goobers: Shirley Adams
Tumblr media
She's very strange and very loveable in my eyes. She normally has a weird fact or two up her sleeves and is never in one place for too long. She mentors under Gisu, and as per Doodle's words (or at least close) will take any chance she can to escape. She'll come back like an hour or two later with bugs in her hair or on the back of a goat or something.
Finishing up: Luca Nein
Tumblr media
As his name suggests he's the child of Milla Vodello and Sasha Nein themselves. He's not really an intern, but hangs around them enough to be like one. He's kinda a germaphobe and if you cough near him he'll freak out. He tries his best in what he wants to do and we love him for that.
Alright! This is the basics for the interns+ Luca! I'll have to make a part two for the camp councilors and other adults that are featured in this au but I hope you guys have fun with this! This au is still a work in progress, we still need a solid story to figure out as well as a few other things, and you guys are free to give any suggestions you want!

It's been a few days since I've updated about my soul mate voluntarily leaving for rehab. This Friday will be three weeks since I've seen the love of my life. Summer was always our time. We always went on trips and took my nephews to cool places. This picture is from last summer when we took them to the beach for a few days. I know he'll be home soon but I find it hard to enjoy my normal summer activities like porch sitting for one because we always brought our crap out on the porch. I'd do my macrame and he'd do whatever it is he was into at the time like woodworking or stained glass. He sold the saw I got him for drugs this past winter. Sadly that was something he really cared about and it was in that and many other moments where I feared the person that loved might be getting too far gone.
Thankfully, he knew he needed help and made the decision that a lot of people get forced into by their family or the criminal justice system. He's been there before but this time is different because he chose to go on his own. Set it up and left of his own accord. As much as I miss him and I'm lonesome without him that one fact keeps me going. He's doing this for himself but also for us and our potential future.
So yea I might be sad that my best friend/soulmate/love of my life/father to our cats isn't here to reel in the beginning of summer with me with random adventures but I'm also so proud of him. When he calls and I hear his voice and he sounds like the man I fell on love with it reminds me that this will all be worth it soon enough.
I don't want to go through this ever again but I know that with recovery there is always a chance of relapse but every time he chooses to get help or takes the time ask for it or goes to his meetings he continues to build his personal blueprint for recovery. I have also learned more about his signs and mannerisms leading up to relapse so hopefully if it ever does happen again we can detour it even sooner than this time. 6 months doesn't seem very long but it was the longest of my life. I'm just ready for my person to come home and we can continue supporting and loving one another through the good times and the bad.
My family worries about what I'll do if he relapses again and I haven't had the heart to tell them that it won't matter. That is the live of my life and I am going to see him through because he would do the same for me. He's not a bad person even when he's on drugs. He's the gentlest spirit and I could never abandon him. I'm going to school to become a substance abuse counselor. How could I abandon the person I love if my career choice is to help the people that are like him? I want to do this with him and hopefully he will want to offer himself in service to those that are like him as well.
We're about halfway through, and then I hug and kiss the person that I love most in this world. We can heal and grow together like we were before, and I will do everything I can to help him in his recovery. I won't ever abandon him.

Okay, um, so this happened:
Tumblr media
I wasn't sure what to expect, but ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE! LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS!
Lupin the 3rd: Delicate Threads
Okay, in this Zenigata-centric story, it takes place in three timelines, which translates to three arcs:
Timeline 1: The Musician Arc
In the beginning, he doesn't want to become an officer in the first place.
That's because throughout his life for as long as he could remember hid father kept pushing him to "carry the family legacy".
Now it's not to say Zenigata completely hates everything and anyone police related, he does has respect to the few cops who truly uphold justice and he knows that the job is important. But when you've been forced trained by your father since you were a child to know how to fight, use weapons, and study every law and new law known to man, then the idea to become one leave a sour taste in the mouth.
But he gets his break once he starts college. After saving enough money and managing to get a scholarship, he heads off and is studying to get a degree in music. This because thanks to his mother, music became his escape and then became his passion. So he wants to make it big in the music industry.
Of course his father finds out and isn't too happy about the change. But Zenigata didn't care. He was on his own now and there was no way he going to be told who to be ever again. His ultimate goal; bring joy and light to those with his music, both spiritually and financially.
So he put all his effort into his schoolwork and he excels at both being a student and a musician, already having several songs out. But also because of his creative and inventor mind, (he's minoring in engineering), he has created some songs considered "beyond his time".
(Because he was born in 1938? and it would around the late 1950s when he's in college. )
During the four years he soon cultivates a fan base and Zenigata is both physically and mentally better. Then came Zenigata's last year of college, and he's at a karaoke bar preforming. That's where he meets Lupin who is in his second year.
(Apparently they both went to the same college manga-wise?)
Call it fate, love at first, whatever, but after Zenigata's initial performance, they end up meeting with each and hitting it off. Before they depart, they exchange numbers and wish each other luck for the paths they are going down.
Over time, Zenigata watches as Lupin goes down at the world's greatest thief, and even meets Jigen, Goemon, and Fujioka on different occasions. He doesn't get in involved in their heists, but he'll occasionally patch them up after some particular bad ones and only once did he help them steal something.
And of course he comes in encounter with the officer hot on their tail, Inspector Yatagarasu, or Yata as he like to call him, or "Rookie" as Lupin likes to call him. Since Zenigata never became a cop, there was no one stand place as the top inspector of the ICPO, or at least one that was consistent. Yata dedicated himself to fighting for justice and weeding out any corrupted officials, causing his to become the best cop the ICPO has seen, which eventually lead to him being one of the youngest Inspectors. He is also well known in the community for taking on the Lupin case and being the first, and continuing, officer to being close to apprehending the thief.
(And despite know that Zenigata, somehow, has connection to these four thieves, they get along great and will go out to drink together. Zenigata over the years comes to see Yata as like a son, helping him out, giving tips of anything crime and law related. and making sure Yata isn't pushing himself.)
(Yata is also a big fan of Zenigata's music, but shh.)
Speaking of which, Zenigata achieved his dream of becoming a famous singing, going on tours and just all around living his dream. Zenigata also achieves in making inventions that would help the world for the better. So thanks to his mind and influence, he actually able to thrust the world a little ahead in the future in terms of technnolgy and using his money, he's able to help those in need, making his a historical figure for the books.
And over time, he discovers he is polyamorous and has fallen for Lupin, Jigen, Goemon, and Fujiko. Of course he has a freak out, but decides to take the chance, come out to the four, and ask them out. After some revelations, it turns out that all five of them have feelings for each other. So after some tears and hugs, all of them agree to start officially dating.
Skip ahead and one day, Lupin and the gang are on another heist and Zenigata is out buying groceries for dinner and buys something special for the four of them.
But when he gets home, he turns on the news to find the four of them died in a fire set on the museum of where the valuable they were trying to steal was. Zenigata is devastated and starts screaming and crying, clutching on to a small, but slender box that held the engagement rings he had recently bought.
Entering into a state of depression, Zenigata just goes through the motions of life, but can find the joy and love he once did before. Not when the ones he considered his soulmates were gone. He then gets a call from Yata to head down to the station. He at first thinks he's going to be interrogated, but seeing Yata's red eyes and tired bags, Zenigata figures there was something else
As it turns out, the fire was not cause by a gas leak, as the news keep reporting it. Yata has noticed something was off about the crime scene and dug a little deeper, finding evidence that this whole heist, the jewel, the location, was just a ploy to capture and kill the Lupin gang. Zenigata becomes enraged and promises to help Yata get to the bottom of them, even when the latter doesn't want him to get directly involved, but nevertheless, the two begin working together.
But of course even before this revelation, Zenigata had taken it upon himself to make sure the four at least get a funeral, since not many people would mourn thieves. So he get in contact with those who truly knew the Lupin gang and they hold a service, and even Yata came to pay his respect. Zenigata then retires from the music industry to focus fully on finding the culprit. But then one day, he finds more clues to who it is and tries to call Yata, but it goes straight to voice mail. This doesn't set right with him, so he automatically drives to the station.
When he gets there, he finds Yata car, but no one else at the building. Zenigata unconsciously starts using his detective skills and realize something is wrong. He is able to break into the building and sneak through it, but then he hears a gun shot. In a panic, he runs to where Yata's office is, only to find a masked killer who is holding a thick envelope of files, a gun, and is standing over Yata's dead corpse.
The killer spots Zenigata, but he was already running and tackles the killer, which cause them to drop his gun. The two get into a fight and many blows are exchanged. Zenigata is able hold himself up in the fight, but the killer has more brute strength along with skills. Almost beaten to a pulp, Zenigata doesn't watch as the killer aims their gun at him. He only looks at Yata's corpse and starts mentally apologizing to him and the Lupin gang that he couldn't save them, that he couldn't do more.
Before it goes dark, the last sound he hears is a gun shot.
Timeline 2: The Criminal Arc
But then he wakes up, on the day he received his scholarship and realized he some how traveled back in time. So now he wants to protect the Lupin gang but he knows he can't do that as a musician, so he sets up a plan and just a several months after, he fakes his own death. His "death" left him with a scar running over his left eye, but he was more focusing on become a well known thief, one to ensure that when he meets Lupin again, he can team up with him and will be able to protect him.
Zenigata becomes Moneta, a thief know for using high tech inventions to steal priceless objects and always slipping out of the cops grasp. Some call him "Robin Hood" because he mainly steals from the wealthiest, but the most shadiest, of people and exposes them in the process.
(A lot of people on the internet suspect that he's the reason why some place such orphanages and shelters are given such a large donation, but no one has been able to prove it yet.)
(And because Zenigata doesn't become a musician, which by turn nor an inventor, the world is "behind" on technological advances compared to the first timeline, making the world see him as mad genius.)
He course let's Lupin have his big break when he first entered into the criminal world, but using his knowledge of the past timeline, he sets up his plan.
He meets Lupin by "coincidence" on one of heist, take the piece that Lupin was going to steal, and after an exchange of words, he declares that they will see each other again and disappears into the night.
(Zenigata almost cried at seeing Lupin, living and breathing in his green jacket and wearing that monkey-like grin on his face.)
And this works. After several more times of running into each other, sometimes in competition, they begin to work together, bring the other three into the fold, and now they are well known in the criminal community, with Inspector Yata hot on their trail.
But during the course of all this, Zenigata has been secretly taking down other criminals who would, or were, going to to hurt the Lupin gang, but he still couldn't find the person who killed the Lupin gang, Yata, and himself the previous timeline.
But he figures that in said timeline, Yata must have gotten close or figured out who killed the Lupin gang. He starts searching into any ICPO officers who has any link to the case or to Yata. Zenigata of course finds there are a whole lot of corrupted officials, so now he tasked himself to bring them down as well.
Meanwhil, he comes out of the closet early, and the gang starts dating each other again. After several months, they finally get married. Zenigata was the one who was crying tears of joy the hardest, brimming with happiness of finally making part of his dream a reality.
When the day came when the fire happened, they actually don't go. Because just a week prior, Zenigata steals the artifact in secret, but making sure the rest of the gang has an alibi, and so now that nightmare of a day will soon pass, and Zenigata has alreary taken down more then 90% of the corrupted officials, so this should be it, right?
Zenigata had hoped and prayed that the nightmare was over, but as the five of them were running away with a different stolen piece on that same faithful night, they are suddenly shot at. They figure out right away that the cops who were shooting at them weren't not aiming to stop them, they were aiming to kill them. The five try head to the car, but it blows up, forcing them to run on foot. Unfortunately, Jigen, Goemon, and Fujiko are killed and Lupin is barely hanging on. Zenigata begins to carry him, but then he get shot as well and in the end, the cops eventually surround them. It takes a second for him to realize that Lupin had already died in his arms.
Zenigata ends up alive, but paralyzed from the waist down. He is arrested and is taken to jail, after pleading guilty for everything. He is back in a depression state and once again just going through the motions of life since he is severing a life sentence. But then he gets a visit from Inspector Yata, who still holds a somewhat friend/father-son relationship with him, and he tells him that those "cops" were not the ones the ICPO sent. Apparently, they were hired goons but they are nowhere to be found and any connections to them lead to dead ends.
Zenigata is still enraged by knowing he failed to protect the gang again, but he begs for Yata to stop looking so he wouldn't get hurt in this mess. Yata refuses, saying that he already found buried clues that suggest that that person who hired them could be an officer. Zenigata tries pleading over and over, but Yata doesn't budge as he won't rest until all five of them are avenged and the criminals involved are brought down. In the last few minutes of the visit, he only tells the Inspector to be careful. Yata promises to be so and then leaves with bittersweet feeling in both of them.
It's not till later, when Zenigata receives word that Yata was found dead in his apartment, bullet wounds found on his person. Zenigata never felt more useless in his entire life.
Time passes and then one day, Zenigata looks up to see an prison guard, who was hiding their face, opening his cell door. That's when they attacks him by trying to choke Zenigata to death, but even when paralyzed, he is able to get them off and he manages to get a good look at his attacker.
Seeing their face, Zenigata becomes even more enraged and brutal starts punching them. But when they throw Zenigata across the cell and pulls out their gun, he knew that this was his final moment. As he apologizes to those dead for not figuring it out sooner, Zenigata is shot dead.
Timeline 3: The Inspector Arc
Just like before, he alive and is back on the same day. But seeing of who the killer really it, he decides to take a new route. He wouldn't be able to save him as a musician, and he wasn't able to save him a criminal. So, decided to follow in his father's footsteps and become a cop. He will become the gang's enemy in order to save them.
He goes to college for a degree of Science of Criminal, but avoids Lupin, unable to face him the third time around. All through college, the national exam, and police training, Zenigata becomes the best of the best. Others admire him while other jeer and some call him crazy, but he doesn't care. Save those he loves are the only thing on his mind and he'll do whatever it takes.
After many years of putting criminals and corrupted officials behind bars, he finally becomes inspector to the ICPO and gets assigned to the Lupin case. Even while he wanted to once again cry after seeing one of the people he loves alive again, Zenigata never wavers. Even when the other members join in, Zenigata keeps up his mask in front of them, all the while secretly protecting them from the dangers they had previously faced in the other timelines.
But then Yata, a bright-eyed, optimistic officer was assigned to be his partner. He said of how much he admired Zenigata and he promise to help him in his endeavors. This later caused the older man break down, the changes in this timeline finally getting to him.
But it does turn out the right choice in the end. The other criminals and corrupted officials are still captured and the person who killed them in both previous timelines is sentenced to death, but tragically, Zenigata cannot go back to any of his old lives and would just have to live out this one, never being able to follow his passion, nor being able to tell the Lupin gang his real feelings, and is drowning in the guilt of taking away Yata's chance to rise above and beyond.
I know this is a lot, but what do you think?

A random ask for which ever Casey au
Would Casey ever think about being a father, like haveing kids of his own, or is he to scared? Scared that he would end up like his dad. What if he told the others? Would they laugh? I think Angel would be a very fun aunt.
I wonder how dark this will end up...👀
Behind the Hockey Mask
Pretty dark considering...
Casey's never considered having children.
Frankly he doesn't expect to live long enough to do so.
What with his dad's abuse and his life as a vigilante, Casey knows deep down there may be a time he falls in a fight.
And won't be able to just brush it off.
Casey also doesn't think he'd be a good parent.
That he's too violent, too irresponsible and everything he touches gets ruined anyway.
And Casey doesn't want to be one.
He lost his childhood the day his mother died and his father declined.
Casey raised Angel.
Is still raising Angel.
He is more of a father to her than Arnold Jones will ever be.
He's working so many odd jobs and ridiculous hours just to keep them afloat, pay his dad's debts and keep them all fed.
He loves his sister more than anything in this life.
But he can't do it again.
He doesn't think he'll ever be enough for someone to love, frankly no one but his family loved him.
And now he only has Angel left.
Casey sees himself dieing in a fight he was way over his head with, all alone.
He does tell the others one day when there discussing dreams for the future.
That he doesn't have one.
It horrifies and surprises them.
They always thought he'd try to make it big as a hockey star or something.
It's... Unnerving to know someone you love thinks like that.
And accepts it completly.
Like he's talking about the weather and not the idea he'd die alone, hurt and unloved.
Casey quietly asks Leo at some point that if anything happens to him, if he can keep an eye on his dad and sister.
That they shouldn't suffer because of him.
Leo promises.
But makes his own to make sure Casey is okay.

🐦‍⬛Part 1
Before going sober, Qrow "relaxed" by getting blackout drunk, preferably on Black Daniel's Whiskey. After his recovery, he instead drinks tea or takes naps (like the old man he's always been).
Qrow likes to think he's a good kisser.
When Qrow "goes on holiday", it actually means he's putting his Scroll on Do Not Disturb and finding someplace to seclude for a week straight. At home? Camping? Another kingdom? Doesn't matter, as long as nobody knows who he is and he can remain largely unnoticed.
Qrow prefers to sleep in a pair of purely grey slacks and a red hoodie. The hoodie is mostly for utility. Get too hot? Unzip the hoodie! Too cold? Zip it back up. Sun too bright? Pull the hood over your eyes.
I like to think the outfits we see the characters wear in canon material are like custom Huntsman/Huntress uniforms. When he doesn't have to leave the house, Qrow opts for pants that are roughly 2 to 3 inches too long and any clean t-shirt that doesn't require buttoning. He goes for minimum effort and maximum comfort. Back in his drinking days, he'd wear designer dress shirts, expensive leather shoes with comfortable inserts, and black dress pants. Not much different from his Huntsman attire, but he wanted to have nice clothes to go out and drink in.
Qrow's earliest memory was watching his parents argue. Their parents were head of the Branwen tribe at the time, with Qrow's father, Jackdaw Branwen, being native-born to the tribe and inheriting the position when his father, Jay Branwen, died in ritual combat. Qrow's mother, Dauria Thrushman, eloped with Jackdaw after she unwittingly helped rob her aristocratic Atleasan parents blind. (I might write more about this memory later in a separate thread.)
Qrow doesn't go out of his way to greet people unless he knows them, and he has a few tiers based on closeness and fondness. For acquaintances, a simple perfunctory nod will do. For friends, a smile and a wave, maybe calling them by a nickname if they're close enough. For family, he gives them some nudge or pat to let them know he's around. Summer and Ruby are the only ones he'll spend more than fifteen seconds greeting. v:I Want To Break Free - Qrow keeps his head down for the most part, but always lets Yang know he's around by cawing in his bird form before he enters line of sight.
Qrow has the basic Huntsman education given to him from Beacon Academy. Beyond or before that? Nothing. Qrow never desired to earn an education.
This sort of flexes depending on the timeframe, so I'll try to narrow it down. (Note that most of these will be reflective towards the Last Day of Summer verse.) Prepare for a long one. Pre-Canon: Qrow never bothered to plan for his future. He saw his life as a straight, unremarkable march to the grave. One day, either by Huntsman, police, Grimm, or fellow bandit, someone was going to kill him. Maybe even his own kid, if Qrow ever went down the chieftain route. He lived exclusively in the present, often indulging hedonistically in whatever vices he pleased, notably alcohol. Ozpin later helped temper those self-destructive tendencies and gave Qrow a purpose that he was proud to uphold. When he began to notice his feelings for Summer, he began to readjust those plans to include her, and perhaps a quiet life in a cabin or cottage on Patch. Volumes 1-5: After Summer's death/disappearance, Qrow threw himself fully into his work for Ozpin and his vices. His vision for the future became blurrier, but he knew that if he could make Remnant a better place for Ruby and Yang to inherit, then he'd do what he could. Volume 6: Qrow was shattered at Ozpin's betrayal. Over twenty years of service, mutating his body with magic, cutting ties with his tribal family, losing his wife, and relinquishing any possible time spent with his daughter were each sacrificial pieces of himself he'd given over to his work for Oz. His hope for a better world for anyone was gone. He stopped caring and became apathetic, drinking himself into a stupor as often as possible and preying to the gods that something might finally come along and kill him. Volume 7: By now, Qrow was finally starting to heal from all his losses and recoup after the drunken waltz across Anima. He begins to open up to Ruby about Summer, wanting and planning to share their family history with her. He also made plans to try to find his estranged maternal grandparents while they were in Atlas and considered buying a second home if they were still alive. After all, he and Clover were starting to become as thick as thieves. Volume 8: Once again, Qrow's plans for the future were dashed. Atlas was about to fall, Clover had died, and Qrow had never been able to reconnect with his estranged family. He didn't allow himself to plan any further than surviving Salem's onslaught. Volume 9: Qrow nearly relapsed when he thought Ruby and Yang were dead. Thanks to Oscar, he managed to keep going and keep his torch of hope lit. His plan for the future was to keep Shade safe and as welcoming as possible for when Team RWBY returned. Post-Canon: With Team RWBY back, Qrow turned his attention towards Ruby. She'd learned in the Ever After that Qrow was her biological father...they had much to talk about and work on. He's generally focused on the present again, but harbors some small hope that Ruby might want to live with him on Patch for a year or two after the war is over.
Qrow's hair is one of his most recognizable features. Some of it has begun to grey in his age, but it's had a feather-like quality to it ever since Ozpin gave him corvid transformation. It makes his hair naturally fluffy, nearly always styled, and grants it a natural sheen.

chuseok solo ( 1 ) - chuseok with the ryu family!
chuseok is by no mean's something that siwoo particularly enjoys. in truth, nothing with his family is. at the very least, the only thing he's looking forward to is the three days off he's receiving, despite the fact that he'll have to spend one day with his family.
his throat already feels a little tight, and the knowledge of what his family has done to him, how they'll continue to act around him – has siwoo feeling uncomfortable. it'll always be like this though, he thinks. worse, now that he's a trainee.
( he turns around, ready to leave – tired of this conversation already. “how long is your contract?”
“a year,” he says, already walking towards the door.
“then we’ll have this same discussion in a year. you can mess up a year of your life siwoo, that’s fine. life is all about growth. but i won’t let you mess up a second.”
he turns, one last time. “right. well, i’ll see you at the next family lunch. maybe if i’m feeling generous enough, i’ll do a little song and dance for you.” )
he takes in a deep breath, entering the familiar building – a family photo hung up by the entry way. how fucking pretentious, siwoo thinks. but he doesn't comment on it; never has, actually. instead he continues down the hallway, until he reaches the living room.
the house is huge, but it's cold despite the warm weather outside. it's large and yet it lacks the warmth that makes it feel habitable. he's always hated this place, hated the last conversation that was held here even more.
"i thought that was your mother," his dad greets him, already dressed in his hanbok. siwoo bows in greeting, and his eyes fall onto the unkempt ends of the hanbok, the unfolded bits that seemed to have been tied in a hurry.
he doesn't miss the red lipstick mark on the hem of the clothing, the warm tone of what looks like foundation, rubbed against the hanbok at a second glance. his father's colleague steps out of the study room soon after, hair slightly unkempt whilst straightening her pencil skirt. "really?" he says after a moment, "on chuseok?"
"oh! siwoo! what a surprise seeing you here!"
"it's chuseok," he frowns, raising a brow. it's clear what they've been up to – what they've been up to. "you work on chuseok too?" he asks.
she laughs, or at the very least attempts to. it's a feeble attempt, her voice is strained and her lipstick unruly. "it was an emergency. i had to bother your poor dad, he's such a hardworking man, you know? working even during the holidays!"
"yeah?" siwoo chuckles. the more he looks at them, the more apparent their dishevelled appearance is. "i didn't know that giving him fellatio was part of the job description! or is that just a chuseok special?"
"siwoo!" ah, there it is. his father's loud, seething voice. siwoo remains unfazed.
"they've got my hanbok ready in my old bedroom, right? i'll go get changed."
-
chuseok is, chuseok.
siwoo's chuseok is far from the kind that you'd see portrayed on television – family gathered together, eating homemade food, as they spoke of their past, present and future with so much affection.
a chuseok like that was something that the ryu family had never quite experienced. affection, siwoo finds himself thinking, when was the last time he'd felt something as close as that from his family?
the food is laid out on the dining table. it's clear that his mother hadn't stepped a foot into the kitchen. the presentation is meticulous, the aroma tantalising, something straight out of a restaurant. and that was the problem. there was nothing 'home-like' about this, everything so carefully curated.
he takes in a deep breath, and eats anyway. siwoo doesn't want to utter a word, he won't unless spoken to. it'll be better that way, a shorter, faster night. and when all this is over, he can go back to his long abandoned apartment with jay.
but his brother is the first to bring up his trainee activities.
"how is training?"
siwoo stills. he's a part of project green, and typically you'd share that sort of news with your family – that you're a part of a project now, that you were leader for a month, that you've been given songs to perform. but not this family, not the family that had spent years trying to hide your head injury from you, the family that played down the seriousness of it all, the family that siwoo would forever believe preferred him dead than have their own name tarnished out of pure ego.
"it's fine," he says instead, taking a bite of his food.
"i have a client in the entertainment industry, he says that it's very cut throat," his father suddenly begins, "told me to tell you to take care of yourself."
whatever. siwoo doesn't respond.
"not even looking at your father during chuseok is rather rude, siwoo," his mother says from across the table.
finally, he lifts his eyes from the plate placed in front of him. "alright," alright. "what do you want me to say? thank you? it's a little hypocritical for him to tell me to take care of myself, don't you think? if jay hadn't –"
"you're still seeing him?" his father sounds frustrated, more so at the mention of jay than the insinuation that he'd been the cause of siwoo's distress.
"yes, i am."
"what a fucking idiot. i've raised a fucking fool," his father mutters under his breath, but his voice is loud and pointed, an arrow headed straight towards siwoo's direction. "you're ruining my chuseok."
siwoo blinks, and finally, he finally laughs. "me?" he points to himself, and his laughter only gets louder. "me?" he repeats, setting the fork down. fuck, fuck this. fuck them. siwoo is tired. he hates this, hates everything about it. "you're all horrible people."
"and you're a saint? we're seated at the same table, siwoo," his mother smiles.
fuck chuseok.
-
he doesn't stay too long, mostly because there isn't much reason to. despite their demeanour, when it comes to traditional family celebrations like these, the ryu family remain recluse. perhaps their own attempt at masking themselves from society, or the prying eyes of others – so as not to be seen for the mess of a family that they are.
before he leaves, his brother takes his hand. an odd gesture, siwoo thinks, but he doesn't pull away despite the ringing in his head, telling him to do so.
"what is it?" he asks instead.
"sweets. something like that."
"i fucking hate sweets."
"it helps soothe your throat, just take it."
still, siwoo holds out his hand, as his brother shoves the sweets onto his palm. "where'd you you even get these?" siwoo asks, stuffing them into his bag. he pulls out one though, and reads the label carefully.
"i didn't, dad did. he got them from his client – the guy that works in the entertainment industry? he wanted to give them to you tonight."
siwoo scoffs. "whatever, fuck him."
-
he returns to his apartment tired and shagged, only to be greeted by what looks like a... pillow fort. it doesn't take him long to figure out who exactly might be hidden amongst the tower of pillows.
he shimmies off his blazer and throws it to the side of his counter, before crawling into the man-made fort. the migraine from earlier, subsiding the moment, he sees jay, asleep.
siwoo sighs, leaning his back onto the couch as he lifts a hand to gently play with the strands of jay's hair. "i am a fucking idiot," he hums under his breath. an idiot for not realizing his feelings sooner, for ripping jay's heart and hammering at it unknowingly for years.
he closes his eyes, and soon, he finds himself falling asleep.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐋 - Roboute Guilliman
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. There is only war, strife, death, corruption... and loneliness. And he grows tired of it with each passing day.
He didn't want to come back, really; he shouldn't have come back. Why did they do it? Why did they bring him back?
But back he was, the heir of his 'father's' glory. The heir of his 'father's' sins. And what a mess it was. What a mess he was with it.
Hopeless. Pitiful. Pathetic. But none could possibly know how deep these feelings ran within, couldn't know how deep this aching void that housed every singular piece of resentment went.
It was a festering wound in a pit of anger in a chasm of nothingness and loneliness and he was a stranger on his own damn world—
He's ruined enough furniture and worried enough officials so he allows the wound to fester internally.
Roboute wonders what his father—Konor—would think; he wonders what his mother would say with her dry wit and the wryness of a life long lived set in her smile lines.
To his surprise, the Lord Regent finds himself pondering what your reaction would be, though if anyone were to question it, they'd be swiftly reprimanded.
You were a young historitor yet you shone bright with promise. He could see it in your eager eyes, could see it in the flick of your wrist as you recorded history unchanged, could see acceptance emanate off you in droves, and still Roboute wonders how he's gotten himself in this predicament. He sees the spirit of times long since past embodied in you and he misses it tremendously.
Because if he were honest with himself (look at him, sounding like Alpharius), he'd call it an obsession. If it's with you or the past or both, he'd never know. He doesn't think he wants to either. He's had enough of lies, enough to blanket him from a truth that would free him and ruin him all in one.
You have to be an obsession, you have to be. Roboute isn't blind to the glances your way or deaf to the whispers, especially when he calls upon you or throws surreptitious glances your way. You aren't either but they wouldn't dare question their Lord Regent to his face. You'd call it mentorship if asked, they would call it favoritism if they had the chance to, and he'd call it so much more if he were honest with himself. Stop looking at him like that, Yassilli.
Because it is. Whether you realize it or not. Because you remind him of something he once lost and he wants it back. He wants it back and he will take it back. He WILL take you. He's given so much for a shadow of its former glory. When will he have something to call his own?
Roboute sits and ponders, resentment and loneliness festering within; he sits and ponders as he looks over all he sacrificed himself to build and wonders if this is what Lorgar felt when he revered their "father" to the galaxy and back, when he saw him as the Light that shone brighter than all others and encouraged everyone else to do so as well. Is this how Lorgar felt when the rug was pulled from under his feet and he had to watch helplessly as all he sacrificed himself for burned before his very eyes, when all he had left to hold on to was his hatred, and hold on to it he did?
In this instance, the Lord Regent wonders if they have much more in common than he originally thought.
He'll make a proposition the next time he sees you; he'll ask you to attend to him personally. It's not like you can say no. You can't... because he won't let you. Because sacrifices must be made for the greater good.
He'll make a proposition and you'll accept and he'll find that wound a little more bearable to carry. He'll be a little less lonely, a little less foolish, and you'll prosper under the watchful eye of the Imperial Regent.
If you can't call it anything else, you can most certainly call it duty. Why else does he still live?

Cc reaction to a "hoey" y/n
Only if you're comfy ofc 🥰🥰
I finally after months have another short reaction of the cc for you guys. I'm very sorry that it's so short and also that I'm not really posting currently. Still I hope this is alright. ❤❤❤
This is a collage au, since they're usually in highschool. I might add on to this but this later.
Also, don't let anyone tell you how to live your life. None of the cc members like that Y/n is sleeping with other people, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Be safe ❤!
Tumblr media
Seokjin
Seokjin can't deny, it bothers him that his Prince/Princess flirts with every commoner despite how filthy they are. They deserve better than the loveless flings they end up having. So what if Y/n's not looking for a relationship? They just haven't given him a chance yet. He'd hardly be willing to waste his time disposing of them himself. That's for the hired hitman to do, his time is much better spend with Y/n.
Yoongi
Yoongi admires their confidence. That doesn't mean he finds it pleasant that his love- no, Y/n is sleeping and flirting with everyone. It breaks his heart. He wishes they'd notice him enough to even just smile at him when they run into each other. Never would he dare kill all the people who Y/n has been intimate with, that'd be way too many people for him to get away with. I guess Yoongi will just have to continue pining in silence.
Hoseok
You think Hoseok let's anyone close enough to Y/n to even touch them? How cute. The sunshine has a way of swaying others opinions. Everyone loves him, spreading a nasty rumour about them is laughably easy. But of course, they'll never know and he will step in as the amazing friend to comfort them. Maybe help them out himself. Of course, if they don't already have a friends with benefits relationship. Hoseok would never criticise them to their face, he must remain the perfect supportive friend, but he's looking forward to when he can finally show off his Y/n.
Namjoon
As someone who was raised by a strict father with conservative ideals, Namjoon finds their behaviour... distasteful, to say the least. Of course, that's not their fault! Y/n is perfect, they're the only thing giving him a reason to live for. Yet to see them fall victim to these cheap people truly hurts his soul. No questions asked, they've got to go. Namjoon can't let his darling waste their time with flings when they could start a loving relationship with him. He'll gladly buy them clothes that are, in his words "refined, not gaudy".
Jimin
Jimin adores how similar to him Y/n is. They're both hot, fun and open minded people! They're perfect for each other. Though, he'd appreciate if they'd also stop hooking up with people like he did now that they've both found their soulmate. But he understands, old habits can be difficult to overcome. He'll help them! He will just kill their future dates before they can get to them. That way he's helping them get rid of this habbit. You can thank him with a kiss, Y/n <3.
Taehyung
Worst case scenario for Taehyung. His dearest Y/n is supposed to be a pure angel, they'd never willingly sin! I'd be surprised if Y/n could stand being around him since he basically goes all preacher around them. Constant lectures and bible quotes. Don't worry though, Y/n, he knows it's not your fault. Those demons surrounding you are the ones to blame. And he will make sure they will pay for every sinful act they've made Y/n commit.
Jungkook
Oh no! No no no no no no no! If you think that Jeon Jeongguk, Y/n's best friend since they were two, would let anyone even look at them long enough to even make eye contact, then you're sorely mistaken. He'll kick everyone to the ground the moment they get any ideas. And then he'll proceed to cry if Y/n gets mad at him for it. He's just trying to protect you, Y/n! But really, Y/n can dress how they want but as soon as they entertain the idea of having a full conversation with anyone but Jeongguk he's never leaving their side again. Good luck, Y/n.
