I KNOW I PICKED THE GREY WARDEN "DOOMED BY THE NARRATIVE" BACKSTORY. I KNOW IM PURSUING A RELATIONSHIP WITH ANOTHER "DOOMED BY THE NARRATIVE" GERY WARDEN, BUT FUCKKKKKKKKK ME IM NOT READY.

Oscar knows what's coming! He reached out for Davrin but didn't follow through because they both know this needs to happen! Davrin HAD TEARS IN HIS EYES WHEN HE TOLD OSCAR TO HUG ASSAN BECAUSE HE KNEW THIS WAS GOODBYE FOR NOT JUST HIS GRIFFON SON BUT ALSO FOR OSCAR.

AND that look at the end!!!! When the First Warden showed up, Davrin looked to Oscar for what to do, BECAUSE HE HAD DOUBTS AND WAS LOOKING FOR APPROVAL TO STAND DOWN AND KEEP LIVING. HE WAS ON THE VERGE OF TEARS SECONDS AGO BECAUSE DESPITE ALL HIS HUFFING AND PUFFING ABOUT BEING READY, WHEN THE TIME CAME HE REALIZED HE HAD ATTACHMENTS HE WASN’T READY TO LEAVE BEHIND

I've been cycling through companions, and Emmrich is literally the first and only person to comment on Oscar and Davrin's relationship. So obviously, I have to drag him around everywhere with us from now on.
