open to: f 18+ plot: set anywhere from 1947-modern, just take your pick. captain vought (soldier boy) just saved your muse from a criminal act. they could be being robbed or anything that would have them get hurt. your girl should repay him and he's come to collect (;

captain vought is a man who gets what he wants, very rarely does someone say 'no' to him. and maybe it goes to his head a little more than he'd like to admit. especially when he rescues beautiful little things from imminent danger. he remembers the words, 'how could I ever repay you.' like some cliche hero flick where the hero and the dame always fell in love, the evil villain defeated in the end. but what happens when that hero's tale is not so cut and dry. where the hero is not the complete saint displayed ⸻ where he'd prefer acts of sexual depravity over love any day. maybe he'd grown cynical, he knew it is some deeper meaning: doesn't want to lose them to time, or some bullshit, like he's afraid to give his heart to some fully.

a bravado covers all of that shit shit up, just like the layers of his suit and helmet, figurative and literal protection. heavy boots carry him over the threshold of the door, fingerless crimson gloved hand pushing the door open, “what a lovely home you have.”

Here are the mid-evolutions for my Fakemon starters! (link to the actual starters) These ones are called Truncoco, Coburn, and Hippour. I'm pretty proud of how these turned out considering I'm not the best at drawing Pokemon designs that aren't small and cute, and mid-evos are also something I've struggled with in the past.

Also for fun, you guys can try and guess what secondary types they'll get when fully evolved, because all three of them do become dual typed.

Heyo! It's been over a year since my last starter call, but i figure why not now! I'm borrowing this idea from @peachiiihearts​ again, but this is a starter call that will be on-going for the entire month with focus on the muses that have birthdays this month that were either assigned / picked out by me or are their canon birthdays.

Send the name of the muses you want starters from! You’re free to request more than one, but PLEASE specify who you want me to write the starter with at the very least. It would be awesome if multimuses could specify my muse and your muse, but if you don't specify both, then specifying which of my muses you’d like the starter with goes a long way. If you don’t specify the muse you want the starter from, then you’re not getting a starter, simple enough. Also, depending on the muse, I may or may not hop in your inbox or send you an IM to talk about or suggest ideas. There was one thing that stung more than watching the new faces that cropped up in Hell. And that was familiar ones.

For if he knew the face, he knew something had happened. And that knowledge- that something had transpired so heavy, that someone he had once adored the visage of would soon join him in damnation? That was a woe he had only grown to taste more by the year.

Keenie had always been a dear one- the lamb was gentle-spirited as best he remembered, and of good disposition. The idea that something would leave her cast down ached him. But he knew that wool, that face, that voice.

There was no mistaking.

——- The moment he woke up that morning, henry's mind was foggy and he found himself — somewhere both familiar and not. a slight pain surging through his skull as if he hit his head and he got up from the bed he found himself in — looking around the room with bright blue eyes full of curiosity and wonder. as he left the room, slowly he passed a mirror and stopped to peer at himself. blonde hair a tad messy from his rest and possible accident, surely — but what was he wearing ? his attire both rang a bell and didn't. dressed nicely in a suit — but a bit nicer — as if he was ready for a special event, a big one that'd be on TV — yet he couldn't recall what or why. with a sigh, he gently left the room and made his way to the front desk he found — realizing it was an inn. gently talking to the front desk worker, where out of a nervous tick he had, fiddling with her golden signet H pinky ring. after thanking them for helping him out, henry made his way out of the building still fiddling with his ring as he could feel he was forgetting something major — but what ? as he got outside — the prince stood outside the inn, looking around for a moment to try to figure out where he was exactly. it was london, he was familiar, but couldn't properly recall where at the moment — and he definitely didn't recall where he was supposed to be or where his home was at the time. that hit on his head must really have gotten to him. so he went to wonder about til something hopefully clicked inside, still twirling with that signet ring as he slowly walked through the streets of london like a lost puppy. a couple steps in the streets and he stopped. eyes widening some, a flutter in his chest as he saw THEM — someone he knew, remembered and somehow nothing else mattered now — finding his voice was another story. what if his mind or eyes were fucking with him ? he wanted to call out, but he could barely speak, his voice was too hoarse. what actually happened to him ! ?

The journey to Skyhold was a long and arduous one, but as with most refugees fleeing the destruction of their home, the conversations were focused on their immediate needs: food, protection from the cold, and fatigue from hiking through the Frostbacks. There was no time for discussions of the destruction of Haven itself, or willingness to unpack the sheer losses they'd suffered until their feet were on safer ground.

This reaction was nothing new, and certainly not one to criticize. Shock and collective trauma had always been dear friends with repression.

Skyhold was...not as he'd last seen it, but it was salvageable. He set up at the base of the rotunda, and busied himself with helping the servants clear up the rubble and refuse around the fortress proper. 

His sleeves were rolled up as he moved a chunk of debris with magic in front of the door to the war table. The door swung open on loose hinges. Solas frowned. Those would need to be tightened and greased. But it afforded him a view of Josephine handing a stack of papers to Sidri. He could guess their contents from the heavy look on both their brows.

He waited for the newly minted Inquisitor to leave Josephine’s study before approaching. “We have lost much,” he said, though it was empathy that colored his words more than caution. “But saved all that we could. You have built a refuge here. Your people feel safe. I hope you know their gratitude.”
