What is transspecies? /genq

Transspecies is the presence of species dysphoria with the desire to physically transition!! Not to be confused with P-Shifting, which I don't understand too well. I want to take actual steps to alter my human appearance to become more animal-like!!!

Obviously I'll never look like, an actual dog or a big bug. But the hope is to relieve some of the dysphoria by altering the things that cause me to be dysphoric!!

For me personally it will be in the form of tattoos and body mods. I would like to get tattoos of some of the markings I have on my bug-type as well as scales. I'd like my teeth replaced with more sharpened ones. I'd like my ears pointed.

My personal favorite example is of a late gentleman by the name of Stalking Cat. While he never identified as transspecies himself as far as I'm aware, I definitely can relate to what I've seen of his struggles and I find his appearance inspiring!! I don't want to go as far as him, but similar!!

Been planning on making a more in-depth post with my experiences, so it's nice to know people are interested!! Thank you for your question!!

i’m unsure if anyone’s made something like this before, but i’d like to share some of these with others (whether for self identification, fic writing, or just as a neat concept)!

ota: omega to alpha ; someone who is transitioning / has transitioned from omega to alpha

otb: omega to beta ;  someone who is transitioning / has transitioned from omega to beta

ato: alpha to omega ;  someone who is transitioning / has transitioned from alpha to omega

atb: alpha to beta ;  someone who is transitioning / has transitioned from alpha to beta

bta: beta to alpha ; someone who  is transitioning / has transitioned from beta to alpha

bto: beta to omega ; someone who is transitioning / has transitioned from beta to omega
