large contained theme with many color options and 540px posts.

all text in this theme is 14px or larger for accessibility.

lots of fun with gradients, grids, waves & blobs.

left sidebar with a custom title & description, basic links, and one image (318x250px). image should resize automatically.

navigational popup tab with another custom title & description, five more links, and three images (250x450px, 250x100px, 200x110px). images should resize automatically.

supports old & new post styles (legacy & npf-friendly).

this theme was designed around wanting a simple theme with only 2 colors and options for a couple photos in the sidebars, that also supports photosets with a carousel lightbox (ideal for gifsets) and has a night mode toggle. i'm really happy with it, and it definitely works a lot better than my past themes/pages. it should work well for both text-heavy and photo-heavy blogs.

So you have a Tumblr account for a long time (or not), but probably you may have a theme that is not supported anymore by its developer, or they just vanished from the face of this earth.

That means that you might be having problems with the new Neue Post Format (NPF) and how is handling new post types.

For more on what went into creating the Neue Post Format, check out Tumblr's Engineering blog post.

I know some-what about coding and even made some themes for Tumblr, though those were for a client so I can share them here.

The goal of this blog is to help:

Fix an old theme that's not behaving well with the new format.

Update some JavaScript knowledge that's breaking your theme.

Update outdated code to better display your theme.

And whatever, if I can help, I will.

It's fine you're good really, you actually gave me an Idea to make a separate ask, so yeah thank you actually.

To answer that I actually was gonna do Biblical and religious themes like the bible, Angels and Jesus or something but kinda forgot when I saw Arcane S2.

when i try to edit any aspect of my blog theme's appearance, or even try pasting in the html of a different theme altogether, i'm met with "HTML tags are not allowed in custom CSS code." why? can we not customize themes anymore??

custom font family and size, customizable colors.

optional tags at the bottom of posts.

custom favicon.

a plaid background made of CSS! this means you can change the colors: the lines that are blue, green, and red in the preview can be changed to whatever colors you like.

a floatie image behind the sidebar, so it looks like it's in a pocket. i used a png of a cookie because who doesnt want a cookie in their pocket? you can adjust how far down it is in the "pocket" using the "floatie offset" field in the theme options.
