been rewatching lots of scott recently

i completely forgot that when grian was recruiting mumbo, his big selling points for why the southlands was the place to be were that it has a defensible location, dark oak and sand. like buddy. you said everything from last season was null and void. that assortment of items is sounding awfully familiar, isnt it.

Every season has a distinct feel, I tried a new style to tell their stories through distinct shapes (and rl is like that for funsies)

The "won by playing fair and friendly and not betraying their friends and/or going insane" squad, and it's just Scott and Joel glaring daggers at each other

the unintentional foreshadowing with grian stealing scars life and telling him that he'll keep it safe for him unless he happens to die. like hey man. cmon.

Scar immediately after tells grian that he trusts him more than he trusts himself and like, yeah its in the context of not dying but still. i am going to eat glass.

lizzie not realizing that scars 'diamond armor' is fake and grian telling her that she's been bamboozled. that ones more funny than anything else but still.

For an au that’s existed for ~2 years, here are the official designs of 16/18 of the main cast!

[note: Scar and Joel will have their separate post. They are m.i.a for a reason]

Focus this time was less in my usual figurative and more realistic when it came to the clothing (as if live action) — carefully considering what practical things and uses each person would have at the start of the apocalypse

At the same time using my artstyle the best I can to make otherwise mundane clothes interesting through how it is worn by each person, what silhouette and implications does it evoke.
