Based on the previous ask, I'm obsessed with the thought of platonic yandere!Diasomnia gang pushing you to a certain role, which is the personal handmaiden of the king in the future. Handmaidens usually have a really close bond with their mistresses so Lilia and Malleus assumed that it's the best role for you to secure your position and safety in Briar Valley and also to keep your friendship with Malleus without the others having problems with it because it's normal for master and personal servants to have a close platonic relationship.

So I can see the Diasomnia gang also slowly pushing you into behaving like a proper fae noble because you'll serve Malleus in the future. Them manipulating you into learning more and more about fae culture and etiquette without you realizing it. Malleus and Lilia teaching you how to dance in high society events of Briar Valley, Silver subtly influencing you with norms and values from Briar Valley through stories, and Sebek making sure that you have good etiquette and posture. They're just so good at masking it to the extent that everyone else but you notices the difference in your mannerisms after being with the Diasomnia gang. ⭐

🎀🍜• Mizuki was the one to ask you and Shiho out. They knew they liked the both of you and wanted to ask you out as soon as possible. Mizuki may have made a small scene out of it, bringing you and Shiho a bouquet each and telling a romantic and well rehearsed confession. They would’ve done more but after a discussion with Ena they toned it down just a bit. The confession leaves you and Shiho flustered either way!

🎀🍜• At the beginning of the relationship, the going to different schools thing seemed like it would be a problem but after a few weeks all confusion about different school schedules disappeared when meeting at parks and the mall after school became an almost everyday thing. If Shiho has band practice after school on one of the meet-up days she won’t skip it, but depending on her mood she might miss out on the last 5 minutes of practice to see you two, and even though Mizuki doesn’t go to school very often they’ll gladly take the after school meet-ups with you and Shiho as an excuse to walk you both around the mall!

🎀🍜• Dates with these two are usually things like going to the mall, going on walks or just chilling at one of your houses ( normally yours or Mizuki’s, Shiho doesn’t like going to hers cause Shizuku won’t leave her alone about how cute the three of you are! ). Sometimes you’ll go to the arcade and have competitions about who can get the most tickets, these dates always end with Mizuki pulling you and Shiho into a Photo Booth for cute date photos!

🎀🍜• Once in a blue moon Shiho will let you and Mizuki have tickets to see Leo/Need so you can watch her play. I say once in a blue moon because to get said tickets off Shiho takes a lot of pestering and saying you both won’t go overboard with the support. One Shiho eventually cracks, you and Mizuki definitely will go overboard with the support, showing up to the concert decked out in custom made Leo/Need and Shiho themed Merch. Shiho hasn’t asked the live house security to remove you two yet, but she’s gotten close. You and Mizuki would do anything to show your love for your girlfriend!

🎀🍜• These two would be good at comfort. No matter what your problem is, they know how to make you feel better about it. Mizuki’s good at calming you down through hugs, kisses, cuddles and whatever else you may need, whereas Shiho is great at talking you through your emotions and figuring out a solution for them.

🎀🎧• Ok they probably confessed to you like they were asking you to prom. They were already together before asking you out so they wanted to make a big thing out of it. They had a lot of out there ideas on how to ask you out, An had to stop the both of them when Mizuki thought of getting Rui to build a small airplane they could attach a banner to with “ please go out with us “ written on it.

🎀🎧• You and Mizuki often go to An’s Vivids / VBS gigs at live houses. It’s very easy to tell that you are An’s biggest fans, going to the live houses way before the events start so that you can make sure you have front row seats to see your favourite singer and shouting words of encouragement at her so that she knows you both love and support her!

🎀🎧• An would give you and Mizuki free drinks and snacks from Weekend Garage whenever you want them! She’d make you specialty drinks on your birthdays and would treat you and Mizuki to any of your favourite menu items on your anniversaries!

🎀🎧• Dates with the two of them would definitely be entertaining! The two of them would take you out to places like bowling alleys, cinemas and on shopping trips! Even though dates like that are more common, Mizuki and An also aren’t against chill dates like staying at home together or going to cute cafes!

🎀🎧• When you need comfort, these two are all over you! Both Mizuki and An’s first instinct when seeing you upset is to attack you with hugs and love! if someone wanted to start coining their own xenogenders and post it on social media what apps/techniques would you recommend? Would you have any advice?

You are my whole inspiration and I love your Tumblr blog!

For apps: I only really have experience with Tumblr, but I also think that it's one of the best places out there. Better organisation, more freedom with post formats, and a pretty built up archival community. I've also seen coiners on DeviantArt and a few other places, but I can't really say much about them.

My advice:

Just go for it. My first few flags (imo) sucked! But I made them, and then I had experience, and I got better over time.

Do what you enjoy. Want to coin 200 terms under the same umbrella? Do it! Want to coin a hyperspecific label once a month? Enjoy!

Think ahead. Making a lot of a flag with a similar design? Have a high res template. Have a super long and complex post formatting that you don't really enjoy? You can just stop (if you want)!

As for techniques: I'm going to direct you to a few flag making tips/methods and other resources, and then explain my own method.

Disclaimer: the way I make flags is probably not ideal.

I use Ibispaint X on my phone. For flags with even stripes, I use my own flag templates (as Ibispaint is not a very precise program and cannot really do "evenness"). This allows me to keep a standard resolution and clean stripes, using the fill tool (with no expansion!!).

For flags with uneven or complex designs, I either use an existing template or the symmetry + ruler tools! As for symbols, I normally align by eye using the symmetry tools again (bad practice but. hey whatya gonna do). Most of my symbols are hand drawn, a few are clipart (credited).

I normally do a quick flag draft with default palette colors, then when I think it has a good order/vibes I will adjust the colors. Almost all of my flags have rough stripe meanings, I just don't post them. I may start with a list of meanings and then translate to colors, or just go at it with vibes. It's very difficult to explain how to select and pair the "right" colors. You just need to practice a lot, honestly. Here are some tips that I can easily explain:

Avoid pure white, pure black and most 100% brightness/saturation colors

If you are going to put a gradient in a flag, it needs to be intentional. Flags with mostly or only gradients can absolutely work, but you need a clear vision or it will not be visually distinct (or that can be what you're going for!)

Join some kind of space for advice (optional). I'm in the MOGAI Multiverse discord + another queer server that I both use for flag feedback.

Stuck? Mess around with filters. Colorpick from images. Look up [x] palette. Look at flags for similar identities. Nothing wrong with inspiration, just remember to credit where appropriate.

Still stuck? Go to sleep! Okay, maybe this one's just me but I can often forget how colors work and need a break to recharge.

Here is a quick guide to flag image IDs. As for post formatting, just keep it accessible and have fun! If you want to do a full custom blog/post theme with banners and so on, you can, but you don't have to!

I mentioned I'm back on my Transformers bullshit, right? So I finally put up that other dollar store shelf I got and decided to populate it with some random transformers. And Pavel. And MailBirdramon. And Ryo-ohki. Okay, I guess the theme got a little lost along the way.

And, um, yeah, I'm too short to reach the shelf without a step ladder, and I had to hold my phone up awkwardly to take photos. Hopefully Oil Slick doesn't fall again and wipe the whole group out. Lol.

Aaaaaaand if you thought I could just post a picture without talking for a million years, oops lol. I just wanna reminisce a little!!

The Pavel is a custom (I think a Green Goblin I found at goodwill?) that I made in college and took everywhere with me. His legs have almost completely given out (a couple of the others' have too, lookin' at you, Starscream...), so he's sitting, but I remember taking him on walks around Tucson all the time. I have smaller versions of some of the other main characters of Uprising, and I really have to find the time to finish customizing them because I love those designs. ANyway.

Ryo-Ohki was from Blockbuster! I distinctly remember taking a Tenchi Muyo video out from our local Blockbuster in Chicago, uh, every time we went? And I remember getting a couple sets of little figures, but Ryo-Ohki was always my favorite, and I don't know where the others are. (Side note, we also got the best Clow book and cards I've ever seen from Blockbuster. I want one that's complete but the ones I see nowadays just... aren't as good or are really expensive...)

You can barely see Cyberverse Arcee next to her, but just wook at how widdle she is ooooh. I love little motorcycles, and Arcee's alt mode is just... tactile perfection. Actually, all the Cyberverse dolls are just the perfect size, the style of plastic used is so nice to the touch, and they're so little, aaaa

Um. So. I remember finding the Ultra Magnus at a goodwill we'd never been to before and being so excited. I think I also found a hilarious Yami Yugi mask on the same trip, and I probably should have just bought that as well. I should also go back to packing a Transformer in my purse when I go out; it's good for morale.

I can't say Oil Slick without laughing.

The Thundercracker is another one of my absolute, all-time faves. I think I got him at goodwill, and he's missing his left wing. Perceptor's covering it, but he's also holding a sign that says "Hi, Humans!" that appears to be made from a note my roommate left me? He used to live in my window in college, because my dorm was backed by an alley, and it was really fun seeing him in the window whenever I was on my way back to my room. I also found another TC at some point, but he's also missing his left wing and his legs, so this one doesn't have a replacement wing, poor guy.

I don't have as much to say about the other peeps on the shelf, but I also like them. ::nods::

Looking through my toys, it's wild how many I got at goodwill, seeing as I almost never find Transformers there now. Especially the Animated ones, which are aesthetically some of my faves. I also just really haven't been keeping up with the figures in general (as evidenced by the fact that I just learned that they made a Xaaron, my favorite boy ever and he's convention exclusive so I can't even get him even though I think there's third party sculpts but I haven't checked in years and and and), so I don't even know what's out there. I did hear there's a movie out, though.

Maybe I should get caught up with the comics/shows/movies instead of just rereading 15-year-old fanfiction?

Aizawa doesn’t really care about his clients more than the strictly necessary amount. He arrived where he is because of the cats and the coffee. If people paid more because he decided to mix both together and open a business with that premise than better for him.

 So, yes. Aizawa doesn’t care at all about his clients. Neither held any favorites above the others, don’t matter what Yamada tried to imply with his ‘discrete’ smug eyes and knowing grin as, for the second time today, the black haired worker narrowed his eyes at the boy sitting on the farthest table, lost in his deep thoughts as he stared intently at his notebook just like he has been doing for the past two hours, lazy scribbles fulfilling the lines in a tired, yet determined attempt to keep going.

 The owner of the Cat Café didn’t really care about what his clients did as long it didn’t annoy his cats or him.

 However, that doesn’t mean he kept himself completely oblivious of what happened at his establishment nor the persons who attended there.

Perhaps he wasn’t the most enthusiastic worker there – that is why him and Hizashi had an unspoken agreement that he would stay firm on his place making drinks and serving pastries, sometimes scaring some insufferable clients away, while the louder, social friend would focus in talking and getting the orders, – but he knew enough to not be a bad one.

 He knew that the girl with yellow bright eyes and nuts and bolts shining in between her curls liked strawberry muffins, tended to not be able to stand still for much time, and visited on Fridays, so he always kept one baked sweet hidden for her on these days.

 Just like he always recognized that tall, skeleton-like adult as soon as his form crossed the door. A client who came especially for the cats and the Jasmin tea, although always sneaked a couple and more glares to the cat-themed cookies, so he made sure to “accidentally” drop one with the donuts he always asked to go for “- a friend! He loves them but is often very busied with work… So, I thought I could try and treat him a bit after everything he already did to me!” And also, who, in the next day, came back to attempt to pay for the free cookie but was, day after day, defeat by Hizashi’s stubbornness and convincing abilities, leading the loyal client to make sure to put a generous tip on the Tip Jar as a revenge, making sure to stare intently at the pouting worker during the whole process.

 Or the young girl with red eyes full of curiosity and a tongue full of questions which him and Yamada took turns to answer, eliciting shy smiles, bright excitement and a glare full of gratitude from her older brother, who used the free time to study while she ate and played with the kittens, sometimes even falling asleep when his two friends – an extremely quiet boy with a gigantic sweet tooth and an electric smiley girl who always convinced the younger one to help her to gather the biggest amount of sleepy cats to nap on the blond teen before he wakes up in the middle of purrs and laughter - accompanied them.

 That being said, Aizawa liked to be informed and, above everything else, was good at getting the information he needed. He mastered the skill of analyzing details and understanding situations others used to ignore, making connections and arriving to conclusions that seemed foreign to others, that is why he continued to cast quick frowns and glances to the boy, doesn’t liking at all how his brain continued to run and turn, seeking for any answer or hints of what happened to him, only to get at nowhere. He was, obviously, just trying to assert the situation, which had nothing to do with the fact that the boy – always shining, always with such a bright smile every time he ordered anything – was alone on this Saturday. A not so rare occasion, since even though the café was a common place for him and his friends to meet – an occurrence impossible to ignore due how full of energy and joy and chaos and energy they all were, - he also seemed very keen to spend hours writing and studying on his own.

 However, there was something different today. Something to do with how quiet, concentrated, calm, lethargic the teenager was acting the whole time, which worrie- no, intrigued him.

 Because Aizawa wasn’t worried. Of course not. That would be illogical and preposterous. He wasn’t anything to the child, not his family, not a friend, not a relative, just the guy who grunted a one-word answer every time the younger tried to make small talk and pretend to not notice him and Hizashi trading cute cat videos and pics during the blonde’s breaks.

 Hell, he didn’t even share more words than the necessary with the green haired boy. The longest interaction they ever had was when the younger one came to him on his first time visiting the place and asked for more cat toys, since all the available ones were already being used. Which maybe or maybe not led to Aizawa leaving his friend to deal alone with the orders while he took his time to show and explain the favorite toys of every cat the green boy pointed.

 Which was, sure, only a revenge on his boisterous coworker since the aforementioned interrupted his morning nap by tripping on him on his way to the kitchen (and yes, it was Yamada’s fault for not looking at where he’s going and obviously not Shouta’s because he decided to ‘JUST FREAKING PASS OUT ON THE FLOOR. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO SEE IT?’) and, not content with his actions, decided to lock the other out of his own establishment,  only letting him come back after lunch and, consequently, at least five hours of sleep, leaving him on the care of Nemuri, who proceeded to tease him unmercifully for the whole length of yesterday.

 Consequently, it was only a payback, of course. The gleam on the smaller’s eyes as he took notes on a well worn out notebook and the fact that, on the next Saturday, the boy distributed all the correct toys between his friends and their favorite cats were two completely ignorable things and therefore unrelated with the quick, barely visible smile appearing on the corner of his mouth on the respective day and every time he remembered that occurrence.

 But, when a quiet sniff reached his ears, Aizawa almost felt his neck crack with how quickly he turned on the other’s direction, just in time to see the ending of the teenager’s action of wiping a few tears away. The one who definitely didn’t get enough sleep on his entire life to deal with it sensed his left eye twitch.

 That. Is. It.

 “Shouta…” Hizashi whispered behind the usual smile he plastered for the customer in front of him, nodding while writing down what she said and chipping excitedly for her to just wait a little bit to get her order, deviating his attention to his friend when she moved away to sit in one of the unoccupied tables, both taking the opportunity of having no more customers in the line to held some private words. “Do you want me to go there?” his voice was bathed in worry, because his coworker was emotional like that.

 “No.” And Aizawa didn’t know why he was so fast to answer, however he was already washing his hands, mind running, seeking to remember how other people - besides his friends, who were barely humans, - worked. “You know I hate being the cashier.”

 “Riight.” His way-too-smug-grin was fast to become a snicker when his friend aimed a kick on his shin, which he promptly dodged. “Hey! I didn’t even say anything!”

 “Your thoughts are loud. I will be right back.”

 His eyes were focused on the kid, who now was curled on his chair, chin resting on his knees as his arms firmly hugged his legs, making him look even smaller.

 Aizawa grunted, part of him feeling inclined to just drop an entire gallon of water on his head to successfully wash all his problems way, or maybe shake all the bad, lying thoughts taking over his mind and resulting in a few tears to escape what, on its turn, made a strong feeling of protectiveness, which was immediately ignored, shines on him. But Shouta knew he couldn’t act on any of those two options because it wasn’t “socially acceptable” – nor very useful, but he ignored that part, - and “problems” and “people” tended to be more complicated to help than that.

 The older sighed, kneeling on the spot before the front door where the sun passed through the window and made a perfect warm piece of floor for the big, - extremely big - messy pile of purple fluff lay and nap without a single worry in the world, not even stirring as the customers had to tiptoe around him to get in and out of the establishment.

 Shinsou hissed when Shouta first petted him, although was fast to purr louder than a machine as the human began to scratch behind his ears, going back to his peaceful sleep. He was the most calm, chill and snarky cat he has ever seen. His hobbies consisting on getting on the highest shelves to watch the entire place with a judging, tired glare and napping on people’s laps, especially when they were about to head out, which made his customers to order something else and stay for at least more fifteen minutes, not having the heart to interrupt the purple’s sleep.

 Needless to say, he and Aizawa got along just fine. Even with the animal’s habit of climbing him to nap on his shoulders and teaching the younger kittens to do the same thing, knowing very well the one with dark hair would never have the heart to put them away, the human knew he sustained a soft spot for him.

 Nemuri and Yamada liked to tease him, affirming that Shinsou was his cat form and Shouta would never admit he agreed with them.

 He also ignored the implications of that when he remembered Shinsou was one of the green haired bag of energy favorites.

 “I have a mission for you.” It was the only mumbled warning the cat had before being carefully scoped on the human’s arms, melting on the embrace, hissing, yawning and then proceeding to melt even further. Shouta huffed, amused.

 ‘Brat.’

 Another signal that the teenager was much more trapped in his mind than the normal was the fact he didn’t realize the adult coming closer, nearly jumping three feet in the air as Aizawa’s command hit him.

 “Sit correctly.”

 The teenager yelped, looking at him, at himself and then at him again, a strong shade of an ashamed red taking over his features. “O-o-of course, sir! I am sorry!” He bowed, putting his feet on the ground and straightening his back, a slight tremble on his movements making the adult frown.

 “Don’t think too much about this.” And before any protest could come out of the other’s mouth, Aizawa laid Shinsou on his legs, leading the boy to freeze completely, eyes locked on the cat, who just blinked lazily at him and started to knead his thighs, low, rumbling purrs escaping, demanding the new human as worthy.

 A barely suppressed squeal flew from the younger, who already seemed ready to cry again, although for different reasons.

 The cat café’s owner hid his amused smile by catching a kitten who approached with curiosity, petting him and proceeding to flop him on the soft, green curls. Ojiro meowed, purring and immediately attempting to eat his new environment.

 “I…” His wide, wobbly smile increased further as Shinsou butted his head on the teenager’s palm, his voice, a whisper, lapsing for a beat. “I love them.”

 There was no way for the adult to hide his snort at his words, but the Problem Child seemed unfazed with his reaction, turning to him with shiny eyes and smile.

 “Thank you so much, sir!”

 After a nod, Aizawa turned away and came back to his spot behind the counter. And if talking and taking orders when Hizashi uses part of his break to “discreetly” take a few pictures of a beaming boy smiling to the camera and pointing the cats on him to send to him later, is much more bearable than before? It has absolutely nothing to do with the young figure on the farthest table sporadically giggling as he plays with an Ojiro who is fiercely convinced he can win the battle against the red laser.

 “Excuse me, Yamada-san. I’m sorry, but my order was 476 yens and you only charged me 200.” Aizawa knew the boy was going to lose the fight the moment Hizashi only grinned and locked the cashier, completely ignoring the two pieces of paper on the other’s hand.

 “Don’t worry about it, little listener! Don’t worry! Take this as a thank you for letting Shinsou and Ojiro sleep on you for one hour, okay?”

 “B-but sir! It was no problem at all!” The way he moved to prove his point made Aizawa picture a small, energetic bunny. “I really like them and I was going to stay here longer anyway!”

 “Now, now, young boy.” Hizashi pointed a finger at him, trying and failing miserably to see or sound at least a tad chastising. “Refusing a ‘thank you’ is a serious offense, I wonder if I will need to give you a free blueberry muffin to go because of that…”

 “No!” Aizawa huffed, turning away from them and heading to the tables, taking the opportunity of how low the business was to clean and prepare them for the next customers, stopping right on his tracks, mid step as a wide, pleading glare found his. “Aizawa-san,” he shook the 276 yens at his direction, puppy eyes staring right on his soul, “please.”

 The dark-haired one scoffed, looking away from the powerful graze. “Don’t bring me into this. Fight your own battles, problem child.”

 Hizashi laughed at the pout he received in response, having pity on the loyal customer. “Okay, okay. I give. You can pay for this.” Aizawa glared at him, one eyebrow up in a non convinced expression. His friend winked, big grins as the younger turned to him, much more smiley. “With a hug.”

 Problem child seemed surprised, especially when the flamboyant employee jumped across the counter and stopped in front of him, arms open in an invitation. “Only if you’re comfortable, of course.” His voice was softer. “I can always accept 100 yens if you really want me to, little listener.”

 He didn’t understand the magic thing his friend always managed to do. The way he succeeded to dance around someone’s barriers, finding openings and walking through them, asking no permission to get closer yet always attentive when to stop and retreat or to talk about every or anything. The same magic he showed when they were teenagers.

 Tsuyu meowed and Aizawa kneeled down to give her attention for as long as the embrace lasted, pretending to not notice the two hugging behind him, the taller lightly swaying them while the younger relaxed, melting on the touch.

 A few seconds later the anxious bunny was bowing, thanking them and getting out with a gleam on his face, hugging happily the notebook next to his chest and petting Cloud before going away. Shouta came back to his spot, Yamada followed and the green hair disappeared on the corner.

 “We’re not adopting the Problem Child.”

 “But he already even has a nickname! Shoutaaa, it’s meant to be! And you’re already soft for him as well, don’t deny it.”

 He scoffed. “Shut up. You try to say no to those fucking puppy eyes next time.”

 “You fought well,” Hizashi patted his shoulder, his own gaze getting a dangerous, gleaming light. “Dadzawa.”

 The rarefied clients distributed across the café jumped when, between laughter and dramatics cries of pain, the blonde fell on the ground, a half pleased, half evil smile presenting itself on the shorter’s face in a flash before his impassive expression took over and he calmly continued with his usual chores, pointedly ignoring the ‘It was so worthy it’ snickered by his friend, still laid on the floor.

✦ hello! and gosh thank you so much! im incredibly flattered aaaa!! and hmm... honestly most of my borders and stuff are just a result of me messing aroun in my pixel art program and being like. oh wait i like that ahskdja

i guess for tips i recommend finding borders and stuff you like and trying to figure out what you like from them, and then like, try and adapt those things into your own. like don't straight up copy, maybe try mixing a few different things you like and seeing what the result is! and don't worry if the first thing you make isn't something youre super happy with, just keep experimenting and making changes until it is! it can require a lot of trial and error

for example, I've recently decided to change how i do reply icons (tho i haven't had a chance to show it off yet bc no one has sent in a rq for any, if anyone wants to I'll get them done like straight away) and it took like, 5 different versions before i settled on something i was happy with! so i guess my biggest piece of advice is don't be afraid to try new things

Fan Star Ship Cafe

I got to go to the Fan Space Ship Cafe in Harajuku today and it was so much fun!!! I wanted to do a proper write up with some pictures because it was really a great experience even if, for me, it was kind of last minute so I had to go on my own orz

 full description with pictures under the cut!!

So first it’s located in Q Plaza, which is like a five minute walk or so from Harajuku Station, or even closer to the Meiji-jingu Mae Metro line. It’s on the 3rd floor, and if you take a right there’s a large banner with all the Pythagoras boys that I tried to get a panoramic of but my hand was shaky rip i’m sorry atom and rui T_T

The cafe itself is a bit small, but it’s completely decorated with Pythagoras goods! I didn’t manage to take a picture of everything because I.. forgot lol but right by the entrance are mannequins wearing MG4′s debut uniforms!! They might be what the seiyuus wore to a live at some point, but I didn’t get to confirm that.

The rest of the walls are covered by collages of all the Pythagoras CDs, sorted by MG4, shuffle groups, Lagrange Point, and Unicorn Jr. I only took pictures of MG4 since they’re the ones I like the most though since I didn’t want to get in people’s ways too much.

There was also an illustrated timeline of the beginning of Pythagoras with MG4, and then progressing through the years, but it was along the back wall and I didn’t think to get a picture once again orz But throughout the whole stay there were Pythagoras songs playing and it was such a nice experience hearing the boys’ music through something that wasn’t my headphones!!

There were three TVs set up so you could also watch the kind of PV, which I believe were the Rejet previews?? 

But okay, first walking in my Japanese is only okay so I kind of guessed that basically they were asking me about buying tickets and whether I’d reserved or not (which I hadn’t lol). When I went there it wasn’t full, so luckily I didn’t need a reservation!! But I think for other times a reservation guarantees a seat, since it can get busy fast with such a small space. You can only stay in the cafe for 90 minutes, and they have designated timeframes to enter, but I hadn’t understood that and just luckily got there close enough to 3:10 to make it for the 3:10-4:40 slot and not feel rushed.

There’s a 1500yen entrance fee, and with it you get a random laminated card, a seat, and a “free” drink ticket, with additional drinks costing 700yen and the drinks themselves also coming with a random coaster of each MG4 member. All of the drinks are themed for each of the boys, while the food is modeled after each unit (MG4, LP, and Uni Jr). I didn’t get a picture of the menu because... I forgot again rip. 

But after getting a ticket, you can sit wherever you want and then go order your drink and order food if you’d like! The seats all have placemats with different characters, and of course I chose Aru!! I was kind of scared because a lot of Arus were taken already but luckily there was still a free one *^*

My order was of course Aru’s drink and MG4′s omurice!! Since it’s still MG4′s week, the special menu item is the MG4 pancake which I didn’t have time to order unfortunately :(( I had to wait especially long, but I didn’t really mind since looking around the cafe was more than enough. I also happened to give in to my impulses and buy merch, which were... all random, blind-box esque items, in which I got almost all Atom and one Tsubasa. My laminated card was also Atom, and I love him but he’s not the boy I came to spend money on orz

Luckily though!! While spending time in the cafe, you can trade goods with other customers!! I wish my Japanese were better so I could’ve struck up a better conversation with people, but essentially the items you have for trade you can put at the edge of your table, and people can walk around and ask to trade if you have what they want!! The girl at the table next to mine actually happened to get all Aru merch, but was an Atom fan, so it worked out that once my food finally arrived, I could have all Aru goods T_T I owe her my life, because she even got the Aru coaster with her drink while I got Eru, and still traded me the Aru T_T!!!

This picture is before that happened though, and I brought along my Aru doll and cat to take a true weeb photo.

With the omurice, you could write whatever you wanted with ketchup, and I didn’t trust myself to try anything complicated so I tried Aru’s signature except... writing a star with ketchup is hard T_T The omurice was so good though I genuinely want to eat it again and not just because it has an MG4 flag aaaa. Aru’s drink was also good, though I think I liked the mango ice cream in it a little better than the orange juice itself. The other drinks looked really good too, I want to try more if I can go again this week....

You can kind of see the drink menu here, and this was my final documentation of my Aru goods haul from the cafe!!!  I was really really lucky to be able to successfully trade everything, and even though my wallet is crying the experience was worth every bit I spent!!!

Austin - I’m so sorry. Aaaa… So… You’re here for work? Studying? Ello - I’m doing both actually. I just entered the Brigdeport City Ballet Company. But I’m still a junior there. So I guess the weeks of trainings we are doing to catch up at the Ballet level are like studying… Austin - Wait... so, you are a Ballerina? Ello - [She replied shyly, not knowing if he was interested or disgusted!!] Yes. Well… kind of! I will be officially one in two weeks. I hope!! Austin - Wow, this is… amazing, really amazing! Ello - Really? You really think so? You know… most of the people of our age are thinking it’s so lame… Austin - Lame? Not at all! I think it’s awesome.  Ello -  [a bit emotional] I… Wow… I don’t know what to say… I rarely met with people really appreciating what I’m doing… Thank you. Austin - That’s a shame… People don’t like this? Why? It’s beautiful… At least for me. Ello -  That’s so sweet. Thank you, Austin… So… Tell me a bit about you, I’m curious… What are you doing in Bridgeport? Do you still live with your parents? Austin - Oh, I am… [smiling shyly] I’m a bartender here. Just that. And… no, I’m living alone… for… a long time.

“Just that.” ? Why was he depreciating himself ?

Ello - A bartender ? And you are here on a Friday night ? Austin - [shy] Well, last night was a bit crazy. Some customers... They fought and, we had to call the police… Ehhh, sometimes these things do happen… So, I left the club at seven in the morning and my manager just gave me a night off! And, here I am now! [smirking] Ello - I see it’s dangerous to be a bartender nowadays. [joking] Austin - Yeah… sometimes. [looking down]

She had noticed he had a lot of scratches in his hands… And she wondered if they were due to the previous night’s fight… Austin - Oh...This? Showing his hand. Skateboarding. [smiling] Ello - Ooooh, it’s so late!! I haven't realized!! I really enjoyed your company, Austin. But I need to go home… And rest. Thank you for the chocolate… I mean, for everything... Austin - No… I thank you. Can I… walk you to your home? Ello - Aren’t you far from your place ? And it’s so cold ! Are you sure you want to do this ? [astonished] Austin - Yes, I’m sure! So, we can talk a little more…  Ello - It’s a good idea… But I’m living only one block away actually. It won’t be a long walk... [Bites at her bottom lip while grabbing at her bag] Austin - Oh, okay…

She really hesitated before telling him she had to go… she wanted to stay… he was very  intriguing! So different from what she could have imagined the first time she laid her eyes on him… Very handsome… and yet, so shy… It was adorable. But sometimes tiredness is stronger than the rest…and the physical exhaustion was taking over her bit by bit. So, reluctantly, she decided that it was wiser to head home. Suddenly, he felt scared. He wasn’t used to talking with girls. It was easier to use other forms to express himself instead of words. He tried, making a huge effort, to put his shyness aside. He invited her to a coffee shop, great! Asked about her life, and loved every detail. But now… She was leaving. “Damn, maybe I should have talked more. Did I do something wrong?” He grabbed the last chance he had… the walk to her house. It has to be enough. C’mon Austin!

OKAY, wow it looks like Storium could be really fun even if you’re just playing with the default world settings!

I mean, all you get is a two paragraph world description and you can run with that to turn it into whatever you want! And all the plot cards and npc cards are like a premise with no conclusion, mysteries where you get to choose the answer! And what’s REALLY interesting is the player characters! You can indeed make your own charries D&D style from a set of rules and abilities and stuff. (Tho its waaaay more simple and that could make it easier to get into it! but if you wanted more complex stuff its probably customizeable enough for that) But the REALLY interesting bit is that you can also have the game host/narrator make a bunch of preset characters and then everyone chooses one of them and has to play with whatever randomness they were given. I love that, like headcanoning the characters! Write your destiny to this person even though you didnt choose how the story began!

and just MAN I already have a whole bunch of ideas for characters I could play as in even in this super undeveloped ye olde fantasy setting~ I really really like my dumb idea of playing as a totes non-sentient monster thing, that could be SO FUN AND UNIQUE! Regardless of whether I’m the team pet, a scary villain, or just some wandering adventurer monster who got wrapped up in this destiny by pure chance. Like i dunno, maybe I could be some sort of demon thing and one of the other adventurers formed a contract with me and now I’m stuck with them. That might work better if I was a sentient sort of monster tho, I could be like the sassy mascot who doesnt wanna be here and is always trying to tempt everyone to be evil, but then I end up learning the value of friendship~! Oh and my other idea was literally just Fantasy World Me xD Like.. not a lot of medieval destiny type stories have LGBTQ characters. If I have all freedom to roleplay then i shall be the dashing gender-neutral thief of mystery who swoops in all robin hood style and saves the day~! but also is a totes anxious mess and a chronic comic relief, probably.

I actually really like that the stat screen has a weaknesses section and you’re encouraged to ‘use’ your weaknesses to solve each scene challenge just as much as you can use your strengths. There’s this neat system where its like everyone votes on whether a scene will end positively or negatively, and sometimes you dont have any cards left except a negative one, and sometimes you dont have anything that’d naturally lead on from a scene so picking a personal failure is better than not being able to solve the problem at all. Flawed characters are the best, and involing character development is like the best writing prompt these gamemakers could give us! ‘How will you deal with this particular failure?’ is the most thought-provoking idea, i’m already super excited to fail!!!

and AAAA it would be so cool once I’ve played a few games and learned enough to try making my own custom story prompts! That’d be so fun with my friends!! I would love to make one of my worlds from one of my actual story ideas, and my friends could make ocs in it, and they could help me make the idea so  much better with their amazing writing skills! And I’d be EVEN MORE excited to play within one of my friends’s stories and make an oc for that~ (Summon-daze if you’re interested I would really love a Heroine Sim themed roleplay!) And just AAAAAAAA I hope when i learn how to play this game I’ll discover its even more amazing than I thought and there’s even more potential for AWESOME FRIEND WRITING COLLABS and AAAAAAA i’m just very very excited!!
