HIIII baes! so, that's right, we've hit 1K followers :") thank you so much to everyone who's followed me and shown me support in any facet, whether it be likes, asks, comments, etc. like, it truly means so much to me that you guys enjoy my writing, as well as trust me to execute your ideas into a reality. so, yeah, thank you so, so much. I'm so grateful for every bit of support, and I am so happy I made the decision to start this account. sure, sometimes it's a bit rocky, and I'm currently trying to figure out how to form a healthier bond to it, but nonetheless, I'm incredibly grateful.

so, I wanted to do something a bit special and out of the ordinary to celebrate with you guys! rules are below <3

STORY REQUEST: ✰ OPEN UNTIL FEBRUARY 28TH (REMINDER: I am still on a break + not accepting requests for anything other than the ones for this celebration-thing) choose any three terms/phrases you like from the following lists: list #1, list #2 and list #3. they don't have to be from the same list. the words you choose will essentially frame the request you're sending in to me. (this idea about requests based on aesthetic words came from another writer in the tlou fandom, but I cannot find their original post, so if anyone has any idea who they are, please let me know so I can credit them!) along with this, add if your requested story will be lee x reader or sevika x reader, and if you'd prefer your work to be sfw or are if you're open to nsfw content. + if you'd like, you can also make specifications about: what world or scenario you'd like this story to fit into (such as: knight!lee au, or college!au with sevi), if there are any specific themes you'd like for it to follow (ex. coming-of-age, religion, first love, etc.), and/or any specifications about yourself to make your reading experience more comfortable (for example, if you're a butch or a femme, if you're plus-size, etc.). again, though, adding any of these to your request is optional and you can add all, some of none or the specifications included this paragraph. send in your request to my inbox anytime between now and the 28th, and boom! there you go <3

please be kind in your request! I'm just one person, and because of that, I'll warn rn: it might take me a long ass time to get to these (especially since I'm already quite drained + still on hiatus, so I won't be writing these anytime soon). and if I get too overwhelmed in the future, I may not get to every request. I'm sorry if that feels negligent or unfair, but again, writing is hard work sometimes and therefore, I cannot make promises that I will complete every request, let alone at a fast pace.

works will most likely range anywhere from 200 to 800 words (though, I may go higher if needed LOL), so expect something short and sweet. 😛

I don't really think it's fair to dismiss the idea that that guy might have been framed for killing the CEO as like an unfounded conspiracy theory when NYPD has a proven history of planting/fabricating evidence on people. in 2011 there was a massive investigation of the NYPD and hundreds of cases against people were dismissed after a former police officer testified that they literally have a name for planting evidence on people: flaking. you cannot be out here acting like considering the possibility that cops who do this shit under normal circumstances might possibly also do it when they're under intense global pressure and scrutiny is the same as republicans thinking democrats run a secret pedophile ring in the basement of a pizza restaurant

I actually need some fanfic, where Bruce and Jason are in the middle of some argument, and a casual (and a well-practiced with Dick before) sentence leaves his mouth, something along the lines "How old do you think you are?!", meaning that he is acting childishly. The Exotic Animal Photo Reference Repository is live!

Here's how this repository works: all photos were taken by me, a human, at zoos, aquariums, sanctuaries, and other facilities with animals in human care. There is no AI involved in the photo editing or creation and there never will be. Right now there's 56 species on the site; my catalog has over 300 and I will be uploading the rest of them as fast as I can.

Artists creating derivative or transformative works (without AI) have blanket permission to use these references. Yes, even for work you're going to sell.

All other usage/reproduction requires permission, but assume I'm friendly and please do ask! That's educators, researchers, the media, people who need images for a school presentation, etc. This is just to retain copyright/control in case they're scraped/reused unethically - it doesn't meant I don't want folk to have access! So please do reach out via the contact form on the repository website, I don't bite and I'm most likely going to say yes.

Please don't repost the repository photos to your own blogs: I've created @animalphotorefs as a dedicated blog to share photos from the site, and of course I'll reblog a lot of it here! That again just helps with retaining copyright and sourcing of the images. If you really want to repost some for a specific purpose, please just ask me first!

Also, folks, this project has no funding. It's just me and my camera.

There will never be a paywall on the site - I believe resources like this absolutely must be free for everyone to access. So please, please, please support the repository if you use it.
