The silence between us de Linda Kage

Garnet - Randy Bachman’s Herzog Model G12-H, 1972
Tube Preamp Amp Distortion Unit & Amplifier Head
"... tube overdrive effect, serial number 7616, ... This is the first version, which is the predecessor the slightly later H-Zog. Both The Herzog and it’s successor have a single 12AX7 and a 6V6. This small head is an amazing sounding preamp, but will also function as a 3w amplifier. Randy Bachman was blowing up Tweed Champs by using them as a preamp, so Garnet effectively reconfigured a Tweed Champ schematic with line out, for proper use as a preamp ...
Developed by Thomas “Gar” Gillies, founder of the Garnet Amplifier Company, the Herzog was built in collaboration with The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive guitarist, Randy Bachman. A former violin player, Bachman loved the effect of a sustained hum sound, and often tried to mimic it on his guitar by plugging a small amp into a bigger amp, and cranking the volume. After repairing countless blown amps for Bachman, Gillies built him the tube pre-amp seen here. The creamy overdrive and sustained guitar tone produced by the Garnet Herzog went on to become the signature “Winnipeg sound” heard on tracks such as “American Woman” and “No Time”"

Just make chatGPT CEO of Open AI. It shares a lot of qualities with your average CEO:
- Steals other people's ideas
- Valued by the market at much more than it's worth
- Doesn't remember things it previously said
- Says patently absurd things with absolute confidence
- Doesn't know what it's doing
- Doesn't really believe in facts so much as what it feels is probably right

“If you want to go into the world of rock, it’s best to teach yourself. If you want to go into the world of classical music, you have to practise eight hours a day and sort it out. I do regret not having lessons, because my technique is limited in certain ways, which at some point I’d like to address. I would like to have some lessons to try to improve my fingering technique and that kind of thing. I would like to be able to read the music of those composers I talked about, too.
But I’m glad I didn’t have lessons, because I think it makes for good songwriters. I think if you spend all your time learning other people’s music, you lose something in yourself. I think you either have the technique or the originality, and having both is something of genius and I think it’s very difficult to find. I think I traded one off for the other. Sometimes, I feel a limitation on my writing because of that. I feel like I’m compromising certain parts because I can’t take them to that next level. Also, I spread myself thinly across three instruments. But I think that’s because my interest has always been in writing music rather than with becoming an expert on an instrument.”
What advice would you give to an up-and-coming keyboardist or piano player?

So, I’m writing a story right now. (I have been since September, even though I still only have, like 15,000 words.) And have you ever just, like…. felt like killing your darlings for no reason? It’s not even just one of those days. You just kinda feel like writing that “because it would be fun” instead of actually doing the productive main arc you’re supposed to be writing?
No? Just…just me? Cool.

Four hands in the centre, a big date and a power reserve indicator, all displayed on the extraordinary Smoked Salmon dial. Presenting H. Simple in appearance yet utterly ingenious, it focuses exclusively on the essentials.…

Un Fléau de Sang & de Pierre de K.A. Tucker

Amp is definitely a WIP but I realized with Amp, Grimm, and Floss (If you mayhaps remember them)
My art looks really good with bulky limbs.
