#MerMay came early this year besties 😤😤 I present to y’all PART ONE of the 7 Sons of Triton in my TD little mermaid au with Alejandro as Ariel. Also I went with inspo from the live action’s designs, but with each character’s own flavour. It made sense given the diversity of the new sisters and the diversity of TD’s characters. Also to choose his “brothers,” I went with characters Al has the most positive interaction with (take that with a grain of salt…) either canon or in the fandom (this is more obvious in part two). I got too obsessed with looking at all the mermaids in this image and I made a few observations:

Mermen of the Piton Sea (Perla's sea) have a difference in the white pattern on their tales; see the Piton merman on the far left and compare to Perla, perches on the rock on the left. The merman features larger white "splotches" on his tail than Perla's "dotted" pattern.

Similarly, merman of the Chaine Sea, Mala's sea, also have a differing tail pattern to mermaids of the same sea. The mermen feature a more distinct "dotted" or "smeared" coloration of pink and gold/orange while Chaine mermaids have a smoother gradient. It also may be a trend for Chaine mermaids to wear the same pinkish coral headpiece as Mala; both Mala and another mermaid, on the rock behind Mala, wear the headpiece.

Karina's hairstyle (silver high ponytail) may also be a trend in the Saithe Sea; a mermaid in the back of the scene sports a silvery ponytail similar in style. There are also multiple Saithe Merchildren with non-silver hair color present throughout the photo.

There are multiple Brinedive Sea MerFolk throughout the photo; a merman sitting on the rock in the back appears to have a more solid "banded" pattern on his tail compared to the henna-inspired pattern in Indira's scales and tail. All mermaids of the Brinedive Sea featured the one-shouldered scale pattern.

Multiple MerFolk sport patterns likely to belong to the Apneic Sea (Caspia's sea).

There appears no notable for certain MerFolk belonging to the Carinae (Ariel's sea, the local sea to the island kingdom) or the Fracus (Tameka's) Seas, sporting either Ariel's tail pattern or Tameka's scales.

The Sims 4: The Little Mermaid Part 2

Ursula bumped into Ariel and at that instant knew who she was. Ariel was her only link to her sister, Athena, as she had been searching for her ever since their father died. Ursula decided to help Ariel and investigate what had happened to her.

Queen Regent Gayla and a mystery man, known as Prince Eric, argued because Gayla wanted Eric to marry a royal princess. However, Eric begged his mother to give him a chance to find the woman who saved him and marry her. After some protest, his mother caved in and allowed the search.

Ariel was unable to speak, and Prince Eric was unaware of her condition. Despite her muteness, Ariel provided comfort to Eric, and he was glad to find a friend in her. He promised to find a solution to her muteness. At the same time, Ursula was searching for answers to help Ariel in her endeavors.

Nine months have passed, and still no true love's kiss. Ariel is scared that her deadline is almost up. One day, Prince Eric arrived from his tour of the kingdom and went to his mother, stating that he found the woman who saved him. Unbeknownst to his mother, he was under a spell forcing him to listen to the commands of this mystery woman. Ariel was distraught and upset. She left, bumping into Ursula from her journey, and it was there that Ursula confessed who she was and that she knows who was behind Ariel's second curse.

Ursula was able to defeat the mysterious woman with her magic and obtain a confession that Ursula's mother, Carina, was behind everything because she wanted the throne for her daughter. Ursula attempted to restrain the woman, but she was able to escape."

Ursula united Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, and they had their true love's kiss, breaking both curses. Ursula explained Ariel's origin, the curses, Lady Carina, and the events that occurred. Ariel forgave Ursula, but Ursula received the bad news that Athena and her other nieces were lost.

Ariel went to the ocean to inform her father of everything. At first, he was upset, but then overjoyed that the curse placed on him and his family was broken.

Prince Eric and Ursula bowed to King Triton out of respect, and King Triton agreed to the union of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel to unite the kingdom and bring about peace.

5 years later, Arial and Prince Eric got married at the age of 20. Nine months later, she was due to give birth to their first child. However, unexpected news reached the palace.

Princess Arial's maternal grandfather, Duke Gael Tolman, approached her with troubling news. He informed her that Lady Carina, Ursula mother, was expecting a child after a relationship with Arial's uncle. This revelation deeply upset Princess Arial and Prince Eric, who is now the King and Queen. In order to maintain peace within the royal family, Duke Tolman suggested that the children of Arial and Carina should be wed in marriage. In return, Carina would disclose the whereabouts of Arial's missing sisters and mother, of whom Carina was aware. Arial had no other choice but to accept the arrangement in order to finally locate her missing family. Both King Triton and King Eric agreed to this proposal.

A month later, Queen Arial gave birth to her daughter Melody.

Carina gave to her son Lord Leo.

Will this be a happy union or will it cause more chaos in the family?

The transition was a difficult one, but the two did indeed meet and happily wed. Vanessa was charmed by the young adventuring sailor, Eric in turn charmed by the beautiful and cultured city girl. As the years passed, however, the long travels, Carinae heat and distance from the mainland put strain on the princess – and the prince, who longed for still greater adventures and someone who would understand. One day a silent girl is brought to the castle, and she and Eric quickly bond.

Is Vanessa’s and Eric’s relationship over, or is Ariel going to ignite a new spark in all of their hearts? And what about that deal she made with the seawitch?

SOME NEAT LITTLE MERMAID FACTS FROM THE BOOK I GOT : ( they are canon for my muses )

According to my book I got about the movie, which is mostly just like a 'research book about merpeople', it says that sirens have different types of song — luring, crashing boats, healing, good luck, shark luring, aaand sleeping songs. Along with just love songs to make people like them. so when sebastian reprimands ariel for using her 'siren song' on eric on the beach , she literally resurrected him from drowning with a healing song.

They also really love the moon bc of the whole tide thing -- they hold festivals for each phase of the moon &* sun, mostly in different regions. they have really cute traditions &* ways of greeting each other in each of the seas , which are all ruled by one of the 7 daughters.

For context left to right , Karina rules the Saithe, or Dark, sea where it's very cold and mostly covered in ice. she's very reclusive &* prefers animals, &* is known for being very decisive &* leaning on her intuition. (Arctic esque) Ariel is the ruler of the Carinae Sea where it's very warm and tropical, though technically she lives in Triton's domain &* lives in his palace . (Caribbean islands esque) She's very sensitive &* kind hearted , and obsessed with reconnecting with the human world. she is renowned for her siren song strength. Indira rules the Brinedive sea , where it is shallow , sunny , &* hot . (Indian-esque) she is said to be the most generous of her sisters and leads with kindness. she is an excellent debater &* diplomat . Caspia rules the Apneic sea , where the waters are 'brackish &* murky' , with rocky islands &* sometimes snow. ( Europe-esque. ) She's selfless &* serves others before herself. She rarely leaves except for mandatory gatherings with her family. she is very protective of coral. Tamika rules the Fracus sea , where the water is clear and sunlit and filled with coral and bright fish. (Africa esque) She is the most tactical of the sisters and rules with an iron fist. She's a strong warrior and once wrestled a tiger shark into submission. Mala rules the Chaine sea , where the waters are full of islands , shoals , and cays . (Asia esque) She is fiercely protective of her waters and the coral in them. She used to send messages to humans before her father forbade it. Perla is the ruler of the Piton sea , where the waters are temperate , but very , very deep . ( i don't know what to compare this one to honestly. mid ocean horrible creatures are down there area. seriously -- they say sea dragons fuck around down there. ) She is the most charismatic and radiates warmth &* charm.

Apparently some mermaids get superpowers. Especially Royal mermaids. Like mindreading or extra skills musically like being able to play an instrument endlessly without tiring. ( there's a legend that one of ariel's sisters was kidnapped for her ability to play the harp endlessly &* triton straight up tsunami'd the town to get her back , but she played for like 5 days straight before that. )

there's actually a few legends on the book that every mermaid knows about ! there was a gay one and it made me scream. went along the lines of , a mermaid wanted a fisherman dead bc he was overfishing and dumping in the ocean , so she got a magic sharp shell that will 'take his heart' but couldn't bring herself to kill the guy , so she asked her merman friend , who agreed bc he's all cold and heartless. he goes to kill the fisherman , but they lock eyes &* fall in love instantly &* hAHA HE TOOK HIS HEART GET IT

Ursula is tridents younger sister and responsible for the sea queens death, though she did not kill her on purpose nor really intend for her to die , but she did nothing to stop it. She impersonated the Sea Queen so she could go fuck with a boat that was annoying Ursula , then she got trapped in a net &* the real sea queen came to free her , but in the mix up , the sea queen was harpooned instead of ursula . Ursula was thus banned from the castle and from seeing her neices .

Also, Ursula is the only known octopus hybrid.

CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Aisha Andros is based on Aisha from Winx Club. She is a 25 year old fairy, bathhouse employee, and uses she/her pronouns. She has the power of flight, bubble manipulation, and water manipulation. Aisha is portrayed by Lovie Simone and she is open.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Hailing from the land of Andros, Aisha is royalty down to her core. She was raised as a traditional princess and every single move she made was scrutinized. She wasn’t allowed to have many friends if her family didn’t pick them out herself and one toe out of line resulted in groundings of the highest degree. Her entire life was mapped out for her before she could have a say; from an arranged marriage to the shoes she chose to wear that day. All Aisha ever wanted was a chance to make her own choices and learn more about her own magic. Her only solace being a place where pixies conjured and kept her company as she gained their trust. She would often sneak around to hang around her pixie friends and after going on several adventures of her own with them, she somehow wound up right outside of Alfea and introduced to several students from there that would change her life for the better. She might have been late to the party, but Aisha fit in with Bloom and the others right from the jump. After begging her parents to let her stop homeschooling and go to Alfea to strengthen her magic, she was surprisingly given the opportunity. Having true friends like the Winx Club was unlike anything she could have dreamed of. She was the mom friend at most times, but of course those traditional royal views came in from time to time. The more adventures they went on, the more she loosened up and let her hair down. Even with her birthright in the back of her mind at all times. It was a no-brainer trying to find Stella the moment she went missing. When tracking her down was easier than expected, Aisha of course, was concerned by that. Still, they made it to Earth and a strange town called Evermore and then…well, Aisha is still trying to figure it out. It felt like one day she was figuring out her place at Alfea and the next she was in Evermore, trying to start a new life for herself while still trying to find her missing friend. She got herself a job at a really weird bathhouse and just…kind of adapted to what she could. In the back of her mind she is worried about her kingdom she feels like she has left behind and the responsibilities that come with that. At the same time in Evermore she could be whoever she wanted to be and that was kind of thrilling to her. As the years passed Aisha was learning that while she knew a lot about herself, there was still so much to discover. She is taking this opportunity to figure out where she stands with herself and her kingdom and how the two can someday co-exist. Stella’s disappearance is still hanging over her head just as much as it is the rest of her friends but she is determined that she will show up and things will work itself out. If they didn’t and they all ended up being truly stuck in Evermore forever…it might not be the worst thing.

She has such a unique perception of life and Aisha feels like she is learning a lot by being her friend! ❀ Ami Mizuno: Aisha really feels like her and Ami are cut from the same cloth. She feels so calm and at peace when she is around Ami and feels like she can fully be herself around the girl. She would easily call her one of her dearest friends. ❀ Haku Kita: One of her coworkers. He’s a bit mysterious and hard to read, but she likes him enough. She’s only a receptionist so it’s not like she sees him that much but when she does she always makes sure to see how he’s doing.
