4 Trade Ideas for Humana: Bonus Idea

Humana, $HUM, comes into the week rising up to resistance. This is part of a rounding up out of a pullback to the 38.2% retracement of the last move higher. The Bollinger Bands® are open higher. The RSI is rising in the bullish zone with the MACD positive and moving higher. There is resistance at 540 and 552 then 564.50 and 570. Support lower comes at 528 and 517. Short interest is low at 1.3%. The stock pays a dividend with an annual yield of just 0.66% and will start trading ex-dividend on June 29th.

The company is expected to report earnings next on August 2nd. The May options chain shows biggest open interest at the 520 put strike and the 540 call strike. The June chain has open interest spread from 515 to 490 on the put side, biggest at 510. On the call side it is biggest at 530. Finally, the August chain has little going on in the put side. The call side has biggest open interest at the 580 strike.

After reviewing over 1,000 charts, I have found some good setups for the week. These were selected and should be viewed in the context of the broad Market Macro picture reviewed Friday which with the May FOMC meeting in the books, saw that equity markets showed resilience with a rebound Friday erasing an ugly midweek slump.

Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its uptrend while Crude Oil holds in the low end of a consolidation range. The US Dollar Index continues to drift sideways at support while US Treasuries consolidate in their downtrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue higher in consolidation while Emerging Markets consolidate.

The Volatility Index looks to remain very low and stable making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. The charts of the QQQ and SPY look strong on the longer timeframe with the IWM in consolidation. On the shorter timeframe both the IWM and SPY look to try to break consolidation while the QQQ heads higher. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

Have any of you ever heard of the hummingbird moths we get in Britain?

So, I thought I saw a hummingbird last year. It was much bigger than a bug could be, I thought, and it hovered around flowers and looked like it had feathers.

I got pretty close but it was never still enough to see clearly. Then, when I told my parents they said "oh! it was probably a moth!" and I was baffled for a long time. Like, how could a moth look like and act so much like a hummingbird?

Until I googled "hummingbirds in the UK" and this fucker comes up:

Before the war, our life was a beautiful and stable life. My husband and I used to go to work every day and return to our beautiful home to make us feel the warmth of our family. My work and my husband's work were destroyed and my house was completely burned. It became completely empty and there was nothing in it and it was vulnerable to accidents. Everything we used to live in was destroyed. We have lost our past. And our future became only in our memories. These are pictures of my house before and after it was burned.

Traveling to Egypt costs 25,000$ (34,162.5 Canadian dollars), and to start a new life there, we need 50,000$ (68,325 Canadian dollars) including traveling, accomodations, treatments, medicines and living expenses.

Humana, $HUM, comes into the week trying to round out a bottom. It has a RSI rising up from oversold with the MACD about to cross up but negative. There is resistance at 331 and 336 then a gap to fill to 340 followed by 350 and 260. Support lower is at 316 and 309. Short interest is low at 1.9%. The stock pays a dividend with an annual yield of 1.11% and begins trading ex-dividend today. 

The company is expected to report earnings next on October 30th. The October options chain shows biggest open interest at the 290 then 310 and 305 put strikes. On the call side it is biggest at 320 and 330. In the November chain is it biggest at the 290 put and at 350 on the call side.

The US Dollar Index continues to drift to the downside while US Treasuries remain on the edge of a reversal to an uptrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the stimulus fueled move higher while Emerging Markets begin a new uptrend.

The Volatility Index looks to remain low and stable making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. Their charts look strong, especially on the shorter timeframe with the SPY, IWM and QQQ all biased to move higher. On the longer timeframe both the QQQ and SPY also look better to the upside while the IWM has some work to do to get through resistance. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.
