After reviewing over 1,000 charts, I have found some good setups for the week. These were selected and should be viewed in the context of the broad Market Macro picture reviewed Friday which with the month of May in the books, saw equity markets showing some signs of weakness following divergences last week.

Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its consolidation in the uptrend while Crude Oil consolidates in a narrow range after a pullback. The US Dollar Index continues to drift to in broad consolidation while US Treasuries continue their downtrend. The short term move higher in the Shanghai Composite looks to be at risk of reversing while Emerging Markets enter a short term downtrend.

The Volatility Index looks to remain very low and stable making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. The charts of the SPY and QQQ look strong on the longer timeframe, but with a possible momentum reset continuing in the short run. On the shorter timeframe both the QQQ and SPY have reset to their 20 day SMA’s where they often find support. How they react next week could tell if this week was meaningful or not. The IWM continues to be the laggard, stalled near the top of a 2 year range. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

I can’t stop thinking about how unhinged Jayce would’ve acted if Ambessa “Twink Hunter” Medarda tried to come onto Viktor

Ambessa keeps showing up to the lab and it takes him a bit to catch on tbh. until the moment Ambessa is leaning over Viktor with one hand on the table crooning that she's always been fascinated by what fine work such delicate hands can accomplish ("yes thank you" says Viktor cooly, obliviously homosexual and annoyed, "it is often easier when I do not have someone breathing on the back of my neck.")

Rack focus over to Jayce in the background. realizing what is happening. shocked. outraged. absolutely aghast. ExCUSE you Viktor needs a lot of space he is very busy! there's only room for one brick house in this lab anyway they both have a lot to do actually so if you can be on your way ma'am??!

Mel and Jayce look over at some event just in time to see Ambessa pulling off a full kabedon on Viktor (still obliviously homosexual and still annoyed, his expression mostly a "can I help you??") saying that she admires the determination, the will, the sheer grit he must have to get where he is. Especially when it's all in such a...disarmingly dainty package...

And while Mel is desperately trying to find some other twink she can throw in front of her mom, Jayce just broke the sound barrier barrelling over to swoop Viktor up and get him the fuck out of there. You hear a doppler effect on startled/infuriated Czech Freljord cursing as they vanish down the halls

4 Trade Ideas for the Bank of America: Bonus Idea

Bank of America, $BAC, comes into the week at short term resistance. This is midway through retracing a pullback to the 200 day SMA at the beginning of August. The Bollinger Bands® have squeezed, often a precursor to a move. The RSI is on the edge of the bullish zone with the MACD moving to positive. There is resistance at 41 and 42 then 44.15 and 46 before 48.50 and 50. Support lower is at 40 and 38.50. Short interest is low under 1%. The stock pays a dividend with an annual yield of 2.58% and has traded ex-dividend since September 6th. 

The company is expected to report earnings next on October 15th before the open. October options chain shows big open interest at the 40, 39 and 37 strikes on the put side. On the call side it is biggest at 42. The November chain has biggest open interest at the 37 and 36 put strikes. The call side is largest at 45 then 39 and 40 strikes. Finally, the December chain has biggest open interest at the 35 put and 50 call strikes.

Bank of America, Ticker: $BAC

Trade Idea 1: Buy the stock on a move over 41 with a stop at 39.50.

Trade Idea 2: Buy the stock on a move over 41 and add an October 40/38 Put Spread (60 cents) while selling the November 44 Call (45 cents).

Trade Idea 3: Buy the October/November 42 Call Calendar (55 cents) while selling the October 38 Puts (36 cents).

Trade Idea 4: Buy the December 38/42/47 Call Spread Risk Reversal (7 cents).

The US Dollar Index continues to hold lower in consolidation while US Treasuries are failing at levels that could reverse to an uptrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the bounce in  the downtrend while Emerging Markets rise in consolidation.

The Volatility Index looks to remain low and stabilizing making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. Their charts look strong, especially on the longer timeframe with the SPY making a new all-time high Thursday, breaking a range.  The IWM and QQQ are holding up on the edge of a range break to the upside. On the shorter timeframe the SPY is also strong with the IWM and QQQ building momentum as price reaches the August highs. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

I am not in denial i have no clue what you’re talking about—

I ain’t got a clue what these so called ‘jars’ even look like yet but i sketched a thing out immediately and then at that point my intrigueness started to fade, and then the ref came out and for some reason that boosted my interest even further. But i know what a bird’s brain looks like now so thats something.

Every so often I’ll see interpretations of Liara’s N7 armor display as creepy/obsessive behaviour — and that’s a fair interpretation! But it got me thinking about my own interpretation and, well

It kinda makes sense, doesn’t it?

Whether you romance her or not, she still has that armor display. The archaeologist. Displaying the armor of someone Important™️, someone whose most recent importance was downplayed by the Alliance — support for Shepard’s Reaper theory was waning, the Alliance sent them off to more remote spots, Alchera happened…

Liara is first and foremost a student of history, and an Asari one at that. She’s trained to see those patterns of history, and knows a legend when she sees one — beyond whatever else Shepard may have been known for before ME1. And in the aftermath of Alchera, I’m sure she got her first real experience with how humans, and the Alliance in particular, will try to bury or gloss over inconvenient truths — if they can be bothered to acknowledge those truths in the first place

They didn’t memorialize Alchera until Shepard was back, two years later. They didn’t want to keep a spotlight on Shepard, on why they were even out there. But Shepard didn’t stay buried, and, well, maybe other ghosts wouldn’t either

All this to say I personally see Liara’s display as her own way of honoring Shepard as a historical symbol, as someone Historically Important™️, and part of that history is a part the Alliance wanted to forget, was happy to forget until they couldn’t anymore

But Liara wasn’t going to forget, and she’d make sure galactic history broadly wouldn’t, either. And in ME3, she takes that conviction one step further, seeding Shepard’s story, the story of the Reapers, all throughout the galaxy

That just reads as more narratively consistent to me, anyway 🤷‍♂️
