Drawing on really cheap paper, using really cheap non waterproof liners, and coloring with really cheap watercolors is the only way I can get myself into the groove of painting. Otherwise, I am mentally blocked by the idea that I am "wasting" my good, expensive art supplies. It's a stupid mindset and it limits me, but god damn it, prices are so outrageously expensive, I can't help it.

Meepppp I hope you enjoy the doodles though ~ I really wanted to draw vampire Charlie, specifically pre-constant. I like it when pre-constant Charlie is already weird N a little bit fucked up.

I like to think when Charlie first got turned into the Grue, she just sort of..l wandered? Do you think she had any idea what was happening? The statues clearly piss her off based on the game lore… they matter to her. What was it like early on?

I loved the stage play's depiction of Maxwell and Charlie when they first met. Even though she resents him so much now, she still describes it so beautifully when she remembers her first encounter with him.
