Her first design pass is finally done!! Yippee!!!

Imma be honest shes basically been done for about a week now, I just got distracted with other things and then struggled with her colors a wee bit. Since this is the first pass things may change as I draw her more, but tbh Gangles design hasn't changed at all and Jaxs design had very minor tweaks (no more blots or the attempt at whiskers: both cluttered his design and added nothing) so--

The girly pop ever!! I hope you guys also like her design a decent amount because I will be drawing her a lot more now that she has a design since I have ideas.

The next may actually be Pomni, but it could very well be Zooble since they just need colors. Or it could be neither if I finally have an idea for Kinger or Caines designs who knows at this point.

Sparkle!Jax is around others much, everyone else being abstracted into their corrupted sparkle forms, and Caine literally being in hiding due to corrupted code making him dangerous. So it’s just Jax, Pomni, and Ragatha. They’re all comfortable around each other, but all have completely lost their social abilities with others because of only hanging out with each other for so long. So yeah, Sparkle!Jax wasn’t very good at interacting with this trio at first bc of this. This interaction isn’t canon!

A funfact about this AUs concept is that what started this entire thing was another AU Jax of mine turning to his partner and saying "If we all were on a deserted island who would die first?"

The brain worms apparently really liked that concept...

This is Spindle, Jaxs only friend (/hj).

Spindles favorite thing to do is hunt, but they also enjoy knocking Jaxs shit over while hes gone (allegedly). They also enjoy sitting on his head because it makes them feel tall. Jax has been bit several times at this point because hes a dumbass, but besides the initial bite and some swelling its never a huge issue. If Ragatha knew of their existence they would have a little hat. Zooble did give them a blunt once--

I am thinking of drawing my oc page in this AU but just kind of make her a little rascal since it would make sense why she would probably try to hang out with Jax when getting the chance even though she's a kid

She probably thinks he's so cool looking that she doesn't realize things she's being a thorn at his side, maybe just maybe she might actually have a chance of buying their friendship with treats that she managed to find. she probably found a bag of marshmallows at least twice

I mean, he'd probably just use her for free snacks that doesn't require him to put the extra effort of robbing the others--

Fair warning though, she wouldn't be allowed to leave the community campsite. Its not that Ragathas strict on who can leave, but she definitely wouldn't let a child wander the island. If the kid shows interest in Jax specifically she'd make sure they are kept away from him for the same reason. She wouldn't want them to wander after him deep into the island for good reason.

I do wanna state as a side note that there was not and never will be any kids actually in Survival Isles. None of these guys are stable enough to properly care for a kid (even if a few do a better job then the others). Realistically speaking if a child ever somehow ended on the island they wouldn't last long. <:]

I have so many ideas for this au it's insane. My brains already made a basic outline for the beginning of the story. I just need to, ye know, actually design everyone else and make their character sheets.

Lots to do before I actually start the story, but this is the first time I have the urge to work on the beginning of the story. Usually I have an urge to work on something that happens halfway through, so this is nice actually!

Yeah i do dw! Just didn't know if i should this early since theres not a whole lot posted about the au yet.

I figured when i finish everyone's first design passes i should start working on the master post, but if you guys want one sooner then later i can also do that! :]

I know it's a wip so technically this question could be beneficial you know get the thinking process going, but do you think there's any kids on the island and if not how would they react if there was a kid that ended up stranded there with them?

Thanks!! I'm glad people have been enjoying it so far its been genuinely heartwarming and motivating to see people show interest in something I've made :]

But no, there's no kids on the island. Similarly to TADC all of the people that woke up there are adults which is very much a good thing (for many reasons).

If a kid were to be found on the shore: (Answers below)

Ragatha would definitely put it on herself to be their primary caretaker and make sure they are safe. Although with how stressed and busy she is she may end up neglecting them due to all her other responsibilities.

Zooble would keep their distance since they don't like kids and know they wouldn't be a good influence on them. If the kid ever tried to interact much with them they'd brush them off and go somewhere else.

Gangle would partake in arts and crafts with them. She would basically fill the gaps that Ragatha couldn't and spend time with them. She often has some free time due to her efficiency on the tasks she's given.

Pomni would avoid them at first, but eventually spend some time with them. There are books that can be found around the island that the others have collected over the years, so she'd read a few to them every now and then. However thats as much as she'd do since shes not the most confident with kids.

Kinger wouldn't actively interact with the child due to how hes often not fully there, but whenever he does he's surprisingly really good with kids. He'd spew random facts about the islands wildlife that hes noticed in the time he's been there. At a certain point though, his voice will trail off and he'd go back to not fully being there anymore.

Jax would also avoid the kid like Zooble; on purpose and accidentally. The only times he'd ever interact with them is to influence them negatively and get them to cause chaos for the others. Otherwise the kid would barely see him.
