Survey Ideas
Okay we have finally returned! Our mental health had gone to shit for a while and so we took a break from the blog but we are back now and are ready to have more surveys put out along with some of the statistics of the exomemory survey (though that may take us a couple of days to get out)! Though right now we will be posting a survey that give y’all the options to submit ideas to us for other surveys you’d like to see.

Here is a survey to go with our responses. It is mainly for getting a better idea on what type of language we should use for our serveys.
Also for the time being we are closing all of our surveys as to redo them with some of the criticism in mind.
Responses to feedback we have gotten to our surveys
"As my headmate said (copy pasting with slight edits) This implies a certain level of framework use that not every system uses in places(headmate roles, origin theories as kinds of systems rather than theories that system holds, identity labels that not every headmate uses that assume those are also a kind of headmate- might as well call a headmate with a particular sexuality a kind of headmate). We dont use origin terms as a 'type' of system we are. We do not think our origin *theories* are that important to our material experiences. In particular with origins it implies that all headmates agree on a origin theory for the system as a whole or for individual headmates as well. Which is.. Not the case."
Most of our questions are optional. The headmate roles and modifiers were only to see if there was a pattern to see if a certain type of role experienced exomemories more than others. For the origin criticism we will begin to add an option to say you don't want to disclose your origin but once again all of our questions are optional for this reason. On the thing of all headmates agreeing on a origin most surveys will be looking of what is the most agreed on for your system but the survey this criticism came from was individual and that means the headmate puts their own opnion.
-----------
"Exomemories are not exclusive to systems or Only a cover for a real trauma memory in systems with trauma related elements, they are for singlets and for dream memories and for hallucinations and 'kin memories' and can also just. Be a thing. They are simply memories that didnt happen to the body. Thats it."
This blog and by proxy the surveys on it are for plural people or systems. We never said that exomemories are only related to trauma we were asking for those who's exomemories do relate to trauma to explain (if they felt comfortable doing so) how they related to trauma. Though when we redo the survey we will add an option that asks how similar the exomemories are to body memories.
-----------
"Sorry. I have no hate to you, good luck with your survey, but it's hard not to have a spiteful hate towards how the community shifted from trust someone and their experiences to insisting they are just uninformed on things like this."
We do apologize we were under the assumption that it was a community consensus that headmates can not die permanently. We want to make this blog and the surveys as inclusive to everyone as possible and we do not want to invalidate anyone's opinion. We do apologize for that and we apricate the feedback telling us where we were unfair.
-----------
"Brainmade was a confusing term; it took me a second to figure out what the question meant, as all of my alters come from my brain."
We do apologize just as before we though this was a well known community term. All headmates do come from the brain but we were meaning did their source come from the brain. We will be using non-introject from now on.
-----------
So one thing that multiple people mentioned is that certain questions do not apply to the (like the first responed on this post said) and for those questions simply do not answer them. We make almost all questions optional for that reason exactly, some questions will not apply to you and if that happens just skip them.

Exomemories Part 2
This survey is more in-depth than the census survey. It is meant to be filled out as an individual with exomemories. It asks questions such as how vivid exomemories are, how they compare to body memories, how it effects the exomemory holder, ect.

Hi! This seems like a really cool project! Do you think it’d be possible to clarify some of the categorizations you’re using for system origins? For example, are you grouping OSDDID systems with all other systems who believe trauma was at all involved in their origins, including traumagenic but non-disordered systems who don’t fit OSDDID criteria, and systems who formed from adulthood trauma? If a system isn’t sure whether or not they’re traumagenic, if they identify as endogenic but also have a dx of a dissociative disorder, or if they’re mixed-origin, how would you want them to answer? Thanks! <3
So we plan to use a categorization that looks like
System formed by trauma
System formed by other reasons
System formed through creation
System formed by unknown reasons
Born a system
Systems formed due to a mix of things
That away we avoid -genic terms and we avoid the whole controversy of the non-disordered vs disordered stuff. Plus we feel as the categorization we have makes it simpler for us as it doesn’t go into non-disordered traumagenic systems or disordered endogenics and it keeps it somewhat neat and not too complicated.
But for the polls or surveys where OSDDID is a key part of the survey it’s self it will be up to the system as to what they put and the options will probably look like.
Disordered but don’t know what
Non-disordered
OSDD-1b
OSDD-1a
OSDD
DID
C-DID/Polyfragmented DID
Overall it is up to the system on how they want to answer and we will do our best to remember to add options for those with mixed origins, who don’t know, or who somehow fall between two different options.
This is a work in progress so we would love feedback from those who want to. We want to keep this as neutral and open to everyone as we can! Also if we forgot an option or you don’t see one that fits you feel free to send us an ask so we can fix it!

Exomemory Census
So this next survey is meant to see what patterns there are with systems with exomemories. It is mainly to see what origins (we did not use genic terms however), what body ages, and what ratio of introjects are most likely to have them. We highly encourage taking the survey even if you do not experience exomeories at all as it helps with seeing what patterns there might be.

Hi!! Just curious - is this blog meant to be scientific research (like plurality research was suggesting their blog was meant for), or informal community research?
Informal community research we are no where near actual researchers nor do we know how to do professional research and stuff. This blog was mostly made because I love finding patterns in things and want to learn as much as I can about systemhood and I want to share what I find with others as well.

Death in System
We know that death in systems is a very controversial topic but as someone who has experienced a kind of death in the innerworld I wanted to see if others experienced it as well. This survey is for those in a system who have died in some form, it will ask how you died, why did you die (if there is a known reason), and what happened after the death.

Welcome to our blog dedicated to researching systems and plural people!
Tumblr media
Here we will post polls, surveys, ect, that are aimed at gathering information about systems, headmates, innerworld, ect.
This blog is aimed at being completely neutral as to get information on all types of systems. A disclaimer though most things will be separate such as having two polls asking the same thing but one being for OSDDID/traumagenic systems and another being non-traumagenic systems. We do that because having your system formed from trauma and having your system not formed from trauma are most of the time very different experiences.
A better explanation of how we plan to categorize the polls/surveys is in this ask.
Tumblr media
Another disclaimer is that both mods are OSDDID systems and because of that the main type of language we will use on this blog will be lean more towards disordered language. Such as saying system instead of a plural person. We will however refer to alters as headmates on this blog. But if anyone has suggestions on other words or terms we can use we will be glad to hear it.
We welcome asks and ideas to help us decide what surveys or polls to post! Such as asking for us to do a survey on headmates with blue hair and how common they are. While we do prefer the suggestions to be serious we will accept some silly surveys like that. We also encourage criticism and constructive criticism as we are not perfect and will mess up from time to time and we want to be let known when we do. (Preferably nicely but it’s okay if not).
Tumblr media
You may notice that this blog is very similar to @/pluralityresearch and that is because it is somewhat based off the main idea of their blog. We are making our own because we don’t like how biased the blog is towards non-traumagenic systems. So we made our own blog to be (the best we can be) completely neutral. That away everyone can participate without feeling like they are being ignored or looked over. Also due to recent events on that blog please know that if we ever mess up that we welcome people letting us know and constructive criticism.
Last part is our DNI. We don’t want transplural or transid people doing our surveys and we also don’t want @/jess-total-mess or those affiliated with them to interact either. (This is for our own mental health)
