Everything exists within a specific context and while at times elements of the external world can seem fixed, they are every bit as variable as the people who view and interact with them. Synesthesia presents a curious mix of learned systems and involuntary processes that create unique perceptual experiences and cognitive methods that echo the often less tangible diversity of human perspectives.
