I love these silly protagonists, and Panda and I felt they'd be the perfect pair to represent our community, since we're both currently posting their stories. 🐰

Say hello to some new faces! 💙🩶

The Blue Herons are a team within the Cranes of the Coast, the same organization the Black Herons are a part of. They specialize in a lot of "darker" tasks, which may include assassinations and capturing bounties.

Felex is the leader and founded the team years ago. Jules has been with him the longest, followed by Calil, and then Abril. So these four have been a team together for well over ten years.

Nel is their newest member and the team's hacker. She's getting used to the ropes but has a lot to learn since she's a recent graduate from the Snipe Guild.

Also, the Blue Herons have this rivalry with the Black Herons. They're always competing to be the best. Specifically Viv and Felex, they hate each other.

But the other members are pretty chill around each other. Like Fern will casually work out with the de Lugo brothers at the gym. 💪

Happy (belated) Ace Pride Week from Loki, one of my main beans from the Wolf of Ugol!

I totally didn’t leave this in my drafts by accident during Ace Week lmao I’m not ace myself but our favorite ginger from the Wolf of Ugol is!

Vlad is basically the straight parent who is entirely supportive of his son’s style even though he doesn’t totally get what his kid is about. He doesn’t ask questions. All that matters is that Loki is happy.

OC-tober Week 4 - Forest & Zodiac 🌳🌌

Hello, hello!!

Finished another art prompt for this week! ✨️

I had fun with this theme. I enjoyed mixing an empty forest with a purple night sky.

I also hid two zodiac constellations in the sky, too. 🤫

Okay, so I actually haven't introduced this character yet. Like I had done some practice doodles for them in my sketchbook, but I might properly introduce them later. I just wanted to draw them for the prompt. 💜🖤

So fun fact whenever I draw something, it takes me years to get around to posting it. :) /j

This is actually my art for week 2 of OC-tober over at the Gemini Valley server! The prompt was poison and/or demons. I settled more for the poison vibes here, and while this character isn't actually a demon, he kinda has a more horror/demon-like appearance to some, so he fit!

Another reason I wanted to make this art was because I realized I've had this character for around 10 years now, so the prompt became a good excuse to make a personal-anniversary piece for myself. I first made this character back in October of 2014; I was a sophomore in high school and I specifically remember just generating this black goop monster in my head as an antagonistic-sort of character. A lot has changed and developed regarding all of my characters over the past decade, but I still enjoy going back and seeing where my ideas really started popping up when I was still new to digital art and posting it to the internet. I wouldn't really be where I am creatively today without them. ^^

For more context on the art itself, this character is Ambroax! Also known as Project 1, he's the mysterious leader of the 32 projects. In the art he is consuming this strange oil-substance, which would be poisonous and very deadly if consumed by anything else. The creature is part (mostly) machine, and the oil usually acts as his fuel. Like all the other projects I've been redrawing and making refs for lately, he also received some slight design alterations that ended up being more reminiscent of his first design I made 10 years ago (not that I posted it online because it was hand-drawn by fifteen year old me and looks like hot garbage).

OC-tober Week 3 - Pumpkins 🎃

Christine carved a little pumpkin this week, and she is really proud of it. 🧡

I wanted to play around with some mirror effects, but also wanted to do something that fit a comfy autumn vibe. And Christine fits that perfectly 😊🍁
