driving home i thought of superbat on a cold winter night

they're curled up on the couch with a blanket by the fireplace with bruce's head in clark's lap, while clark tells bruce one of his favorite childhood memories. they have hot chocolate (marshmallows in clark's, peppermint in bruce's) and warm cookies. bruce has so many questions, he loves hearing about clark's happy childhood. they fall asleep like this. alfred catches them like this in the morning and covers them up and let's them sleep in while he makes breakfast. they both need a break.

jason lowkey originally invited alfred for the cookies but he actually agrees with alfred's taste in books

they primarily read romance books: fantasy romance, historical romance, contemporary romance, it doesn't matter

alfred: absolutely not, dain is a respectable boy

im a firm believer that dick pierced jason’s ears one night (after jason begged him for a long time) and they ended up a little crooked. jason doesn’t notice they’re uneven until a few days later and refuses to talk to dick for an entire day.

bruce (a sore loser) reading the rules after clark tries to stack +2 on top of a +4: hey, you can't do that!
