- learn about weaponry (modern & ancient) and combat styles and strategies throughout the ages

- learn about various wars, riots, battles, protests, etc.

- watch war movies or war centered tv shows

- reflect on and address your own fears and ways you can potentially overcome them

🩷New Introduction Post🩷

I felt a new introduction post was in order so: hello everyone! I’m back! I’m Stratus (formerly Mars) and I’ve been a Hellenic pagan for a while now! This blog is dedicated to my faith but I have two other blogs if you’re interested in those: @marsdeathdefiances which is my main blog, kind of a melting pot of stuff over there. Then there’s @pxr-aspxra-ad-infxri which is my blog for the band Ghost! But again this blog is where I’ll talk about all things helpol and witchcraft!

The deities I worship are: Zeus, Ares, Apollo, Hades, Dionysus, Hera, Persephone, and Aphrodite. Though I often mix in other deities as well but those are all my “main” deities.

I have a standard DNI and I will block accordingly. I’m a leftist and strive to create a safe space here on this blog for people so if I see that you’re acting some type of way or hold certain beliefs I will simply block you and move on.

My blog is open to people from all faiths (or lack thereof) so even if you’re from a different religion and are simply curious, you’re more than welcome to follow or take a look! I just ask that everyone be respectful of everyone’s faiths. However my blog is not a safe space for outright anti-theists, just so you know. My blog is also a safe space to people who are new to Hellenic polytheism! Just starting out can be pretty intimidating but you’ve got this!

I will also say that on this blog I don’t tolerate any kind of elitism or bullying behaviors, especially towards newbies or people whose altars aren’t “aesthetic” and things like that. We all start somewhere and we’re all doing the best with what we’ve got! And I try to make my more informational posts inclusive to people everywhere on the Hellenic polytheism spectrum! Whether you’re new, or can’t have a physical altar, etc. chances are there’s something for you on this blog!

I’m back!!!

Hello I’m back! It’s been almost a year since I’ve posted on this blog but I feel like I’ve lived a million lifetimes since then.

First thing is first, a name change: I’m no longer Mars, I’m Stratus now but I still go by any pronouns!

So I know I kinda hopped between Quakerism and Hellenic polytheism and over the past year I’ve really sat and thought about my beliefs and for a while I definitely was Quaker but for no reason in particular I’m back with Hellenic polytheism and I feel a lot stronger in my beliefs!

And I know I posted about going to eating disorder treatment and while I was going to, I got cold feet at the last minute and didn’t go, but I worked on it with a therapist and I’ve made lots of really good progress that I’m definitely proud of.

Just overall I feel very confident and secure in myself in a way I haven’t felt before and it’s pretty exciting for me. Anywho stick around if you want to watch me get back into Hellenic polytheism! I’m going to be working on a new intro post so stay tuned! 🖤🖤🖤

I went back by earlier today and this time there were crows ceasing on the carcass! It looked so cool, like honestly.

I didn’t get a picture of it cause I was driving! But yesterday I saw some vultures feasting on a deer and it reminded me so much of Ares, I loved it.
