Unpopular opinion:

Stranger things is better than hp.

Coming from a HUGE (kind of ex?) harry potter fan who red the full book series abt 5 times, same as the movies, wanted a hp room, went to the exhibition and listened to harry podcast at least 6 times.

Main reasons:

-Several ‘main characters’, not just one

-Interesting and more character development

-A wider range of different types of ppl (->different problems, personalities, sexualities, opinions)

-Its made for adults/late teens and not kids ->genuine language(realistic swear words), gore and proper action, horror is not held back, realistic treatment of characters, blood and drugs)

-Playing in the 80s-> looks cool and feels cool, not all about brands and 21st century tech

-music is fire

-Plot is at the very least just as good

-Logical explanations and reasoning with physics

-no homophobe/transphobe wrote it

-way much more but thats enough for now because if Id list everything I wouldnt finish till tmr

When I was younger, I loved this ship most,

Because in s3 especially they are very cute together.

But I am rewatching s1 currently and I’m sorry but I really think that the duffers did not great with her.

First of all, I think she should be a bit more clueless in some scenes, mainly in the first almost kiss scene. Like why tf is she leaning in a kiss if she doesnt even know what that is?

Dont get me wrong, I’m not necessarily against mileven. I just think that whole love thing was wayy too fast in s1 for them.

Ik some ppl say theyre also too young to experience love, which I dont agree with tbh, I also had a partner when I was 12 and I, personally could definitely feel love back then.

But eleven leaning in for a f kiss? Why? Its not like the lab had TV what the kids watched and there were ppl kissing.

Also unpopular opinion, but I think mikes love for el in s1 was at least 50% for her powers. Yes, I also think he had a crush on her, but I also think that was partly also because she was so different. Idk. Thats at least the feeling I get.

My headcannon(s) for barb:

She is definitely heavily leaning into the ace/aro, but I feel like the second one is a bit more cannon, since I think she would feel attraction after knowing the person for a while, but def more with femmes.

I think shed be that kind of person that doesn’t have a love life their whole youth and then gets to know somebody with 30 and gets married with 40+; she probably would her whole youth that say shes aroace.
