The name N95 comes from the fact the masks filter 95% of airborne particles, such as viruses. Lab results show Tommye’s masks block 96.5%.

N95s weren’t intended for all-day use, so they tend to carve painful, unsightly marks into noses, cheeks and chins. Hers don’t.

With nowhere for exhaled carbon dioxide to escape, N95 wearers sometimes suffer dizziness or headaches. Hers have an air pocket so the C02 floats more easily away

Archive.org is facing a lawsuit

tldr: the Internet Archive/WayBack Machine is super important in term of archived content, billions of stuff are on there, and with the current event happening in the world like stated above,without this tool, it will be hard to properly document what took place. It will be easy for certain people to rewrite history. Dont let them.

crochet, knitting, sewing... any kind of fiber art given to another person is just so indescribably filled with love. and i think part of that is bc it is a process. the gradual nature of creation. the stitches you create with yarn and your hands is replicated in your heartstrings. every stitch was made with consideration, counted and recounted. by the time the gift is complete it is heavy with love. it says: this is the part of my heart that you reside in, please handle it with care.

I'm in Ontario and I get $733 a month. My rent, half of the rent of my apartment, is $598. My girlfriend is a saint and only asks for $500. That leaves me with $233 for groceries, meds not covered by ODB, transportation if I want to go anywhere by myself, my cell phone bill, and other bills. If I didn't live with my girlfriend I wouldn't be able to afford rent anywhere, and I wouldn't be eligible if I lived with my mom because her saving are Too Much. I'm totally dependent on those around me and it sucks. I try to supplement with odd jobs and crafting when I can, but in the end I don't know what's worse: being sick or being dependent instead of independent.

Sooo wild that the government openly states that they calculated it and decided Canadians need about $2000/month to live, but think that somehow I'm okay with $811 cause I'm disabled??? It is straight up more expensive to be disabled.

It's enforced poverty, it's ableist, and it's unacceptable.

Regis Korchinski-Paquet was a 29 year old black woman living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She died after falling 24 stories from a High Park highrise while police were present. She was active in her church, a talented gymnast, and proud of her Ukrainian and Nova Scotian roots. She had mental illnesses and epilepsy. Her family called the police as they wanted her to be taken to Toronto’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. The police say she committed suicide. Her family disagrees. Their lawyer calls her death suspicious. There is an internal investigation ongoing by the SIU. We want answers. We want justice.

On May 23rd at 4pm EST, we invite students graduating any level of schooling to participate in our graduation ceremony, and afterwards, to join us for our Aquatic Farewell prom event!

Fill out this form to walk at graduation! Please have it filled out by May 21st so that Flaw can clarify any pronunciations and we have time to prepare your robes.

We encourage you to invite friends and family, and to feel free to dress up for the occasion (although cap and gown will be provided for our graduates during the ceremony).

A quick guide on how to join the server:

Make sure you’re playing on Minecraft Java Edition. Unfortunately we cannot support Bedrock Edition on the Server

Open the Minecraft Launcher (it should look like a grass cube,) go to the Minecraft: Java Edition tab on the left side of the window, then the Installations tab along the top of the window. Select New in the top left, and create a new installation set to 1.13.2 on the Version dropdown menu. Name it Graduation/Prom (or whatever you like,) ignore the other text boxes, and click Create

Hit Play once you’ve made sure the version you just made is selected

Click Multiplayer, then Add Server

Name it Nerdcrafteria, and set the server address to mc.nerdcrafteria.com

Hover over the server icon and click the arrow pointing to it
