I questioned you about your fondness for Bhujia a few days ago, and I saw that people can't resist it when it's there in front of them. We usually love munching on bhujia because of its crispy and tangy flavor. But are you aware of the consequences? It can result in high cholesterol, poor digestion, obesity, hypertension, and so on. But,no worries. I have a fantastic alternative for that. When I lived in Gujarat in childhood, my mother used to cook roasted murmura poha, also known as chivda, whenever I was hungry. And my love for that is still consistent ❤. My all-time favorite snack. Although it is pretty much common in Gujarat and other western states. Still want you all to know about it and how to make it healthier. So, I want to share a quick and delicious recipe for the same thing. Add 2 tsp of oil to a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and Asafoetida (hing) Add foxnuts Add 1/2 cup of each - roasted peanuts, chickpeas, and cashew nuts. Add 3 cups murmura Add 3 cups poha Add spices-chili flakes, oregano, turmeric powder, coriander powder, amchoor, crushed black pepper, garlic powder, and salt to taste. Stir it continuously for 5-8 mins to make it crispy. Have a bowl of it with chilled lemon water or hot herbal tea whenever you crave for bhujia.
