When BuckTommy bones happened I put out a poll about what I should post to honor it. First place was obviously a Tommy Bashing fic and the first chapter of that has been posted. I decided that I also wanted to post one of my multi-chapter WIPs and the selection that won for that was the Prison AU, so here it is! Well, the first chapter of it.

Things were finally starting to settle between Buck and Eddie after the lawsuit. More than settle, something had began to really change between the both of them for the better. But the other shoe always has to drop.

A calm evening between Buck and Eddie turns into the worst night of their life when Eddie is arrested for murder.

Buck and Eddie have to figure out what life looks like for them now that Eddie may be gone for the near future. What is Buck without Eddie? And who is Eddie when he trapped in a cage for a crime he's sure he didn't commit?

“Athena?” Eddie called stopping just behind Buck. “What are you doing here, is Bobby okay?”

“Bobby's fine.” Athena took a deep breath, a wash a pain crossed her face. “Eddie, there's a warrant out for your arrest.”

Buck felt himself freeze, he felt Eddie tense up behind him. Eddie saw it coming, not closely, not exactly, but he had always seen something coming. The other shoe to drop, per se.

Buck and Tommy had been together for six months and things were good. Well, not good, but they weren't bad. And Buck is trying to keep it, keep them together.

Throwing together the barbecue wasn't how he'd planned to do it, but it seemed to work out that way. Only, every thing leading up to the day in question seemed to pull them further and further apart.

And Buck was beginning to think that maybe Tommy wasn't the person the universe was pulling him toward.

i saw a screenrant one title 'Sorry, Buddie Fans, 9-1-2 just confirmed your ship won't happen' or something stupid like that. And just based on the little snippet I read, it was total bullshit.

You're absolutely right! Daryl and Carol are the most platonic soulmates . They're so older sister, younger brother coded. Like every time they reunite, he literally runs to her like a little brother who misses his sister. Head tucked into her neck, tears on his face. And carol is no better, holding his head and shushing him.

Also Bethyl is SO weird. Fine, she wasn't a minor when she died but she was a minor for the vast majority of the time she knew Daryl. If Daryl perused her Maggie would have killed him because that would be predatory behavior.

for context the rest of the thread is me talking about how i don't hate carol and am anti-bethyl, unlike this kind and kind of insane user.

if anyone wants a reason as to why i hate bethyl its clear. beth was freshly 18 when she died. she met daryl as a minor. spent most of her time with him AS A MINOR. i don't ship them because she was still pretty much a child when she died and daryl was like 40.

unfortunately for them, this user liked to put words in my mouth and try dictate what i post and i have a history of hating that.

for clarification. i love carol and daryl as the brother/sister duo they are. i ship carol with ezekiel and daryl with connie. and if you don't like that, you can cry about it somewhere else.

i haven't said this here before but im a huge fan of the walking dead, and if you are also a huge fan of the walking dead you should dm me so we can be friends

(except if you ship daryl and carol, if you do that stay as far away from me as possible. that's like shipping wincest which is NOT the vibes over here)
