Okay so I have no idea how long this has been in my askbox, and I know this is probably a genuine question, and I’m gonna give a genuine answer, but first of all I feel the need to get something out of the way.

I am 21 years old and I’ve been in fandom since I was 7 or 8. I have seen all the discourse, I have been shepherded toward or away from this or that thing that has been deemed bad or good. I’m kind of just over it all. I’m gonna do my thing and nothing anybody else says is going to stop me unless I agree.

That said, yeah, I do support shipping the ninja - people date. Even if you hc them as teenagers, teenagers date. In fact, teenagers have always been the people I know with the most active love life. Am I gonna do anything explicit with teen!ninja? No. But I’ll still ship it. And personally I hc them as being in their mid-20s by now anyway.

And yes, I do support shipping Lloyd with people. In show-canon the options are hopelessly limited and I really do not care for most of the other characters as romantic partners for him anyway, except maybe Brad, but the physical age gap makes that ehhhh for me. Movie-canon you could ship him with literally anyone his age and I wouldn’t care. And I deal almost exclusively in AUs, and usually in mentally teenage or adult Lloyd, so... Again. People date. Teenagers date. It’s gonna happen, may as well let people have their thing.

tl;dr - yes. leave me be about it if that’s not your thing, i’m not here for your discourse or your purity culture, i’m here to draw and write things i enjoy.

You’ll wish you were dead, at times. You’ll wish that you were never born. That mom and dad never met. That grandpa hadn’t even made Ninjago. You’ll grow to hate the world you live in.
