I hope everyone is having a lovely Friday night! Instead of spending time with “friends” who are always “too busy” or leaving the 30th voicemail this week on your ex-wife’s phone, try making a new Soup to avoid disappointment!
I’m trying this new recipe I was sent by one of my long-time followers. Featuring both buckwheat and lentils this tasty concoction is high in protein and fiber. Last time I ate buckwheat it set off a terrible chain of events that I still haven’t fully recovered from. But Fridays are for excitement!
No rating as I haven’t finished yet but was too hopped up on that cookin’ Soup energy to wait and post ;-).

Okay, I know I went a little overboard in my last post so just wanted to set the record straight. After thoughtful consideration and internalizing many of your comments, I realize it doesn’t make a lot of sense to open the spooner community to animals. I was in a highly emotional state at the time and was not thinking rationally. It also turns out this dog has the same love for stew as he does for Soup so, of course, he would not be fit for the spooner community anyway.
Welp with that out of the way, here is another hearty and scrumptious Soup that will really excite you health nuts out there! With quinoa, cabbage, and chickpeas you’ll love every spoonful of this flavor-rich soup and you'll feel great eating it too. More Soups should have chickpeas in 'em!

I know for a long time I’ve been extremely vocal about keeping animals OUT of the spooner community. But this little Soup enthusiast really changed my mind. He was more interested in the dish's wonderful aroma than in spending time with me! The enticing call of the broth finally won him over when he got the chance to strike while I took a call from the CSE. I couldn’t be angry watching his transformation into a Soup-obsessed being. I’ve never seen any person finish a bowl with the fervor of this dog. I now believe in a future for the spooner community which does not divide itself among species.
SO I would like to formally welcome this little fella, Ned, into the spooner community.
Oh yeah, and the Soup was pretty decent from the first few spoonfuls. Soup rating: 8.1/10
I haven't worked out how he'll pay member fees yet. Stay tuned.

Hey, fellow spooners. I'm back with another Soup review.
This time around we’ve got a marvelous tomato Soup with exceptional presentation. Some small twists on this classic to really elevate it towards perfection. With a lovely texture and just the perfect balance of flavors to truly excite this Soup lover's tongue.
For a couple years, I could eat nothing but tomato Soup. Not going to elaborate but needless to say eating this did bring back some tough memories. Luckily, Soup is THE perfect food for concealing your tears!
And before you ask, no, of course I did not dunk the bread. I know how important it is to keep the Soup pure. It was for presentation only.

Ran into this delicious lookin' bowl the other day at my local café. I've been trying to eat more veggies recently (doctor's orders). Soup, of course, is the best way to fit them in!
I wasn't able to try this one though. It belonged to the man at the table next to me and he wouldn't let me have any. Was able to get a picture though before he asked me to leave (he wasn't a member of the spooner community so he lacked manner)

Yesterday, I went to my local Panera Bread (finally allowed back) and got their award-winning classic broccoli and cheddar Soup in a bread bowl. All you true spooners out there already know what this is about so there is no need to go into detail but was saddened to see they have not maintained that high standard I remembered and the signature creamy finish that set me on my Soup blogging path many years ago left much to be desired. After so many years, it does beg the question: is it Panera who has changed or is it me? I always enjoy an edible vessel though.
Didn't take a photo since you all know what happened the last time I tried to take a picture in there (shout out to the spooner community for all support in that btw) but it always looks the same so I grabbed a delectable example from online.
