Darling Raelle - would you believe that it has been four years since that vacation by the lake? I was dreaming about it last night. Remember that funny looking dog would steal everyone's shoes? (Continuing to sort through the prop post cards from Raelle's room. This is another one of my favorites. Not all of them are canon congruent - - a few are just the props department writing random stuff, I think, but I like to think some of these are 'real' things, like this one.)

Big mail day. Literally.

I got my auction win from the latest round of MFS prop liquidation. I'm still going through the pieces of it. But so far, I think these are my two favorite postcards that Willa sent to Raelle.

I got the props from Scylla's credenza that I won in the last Motherland: Fort Salem auction in the mail today. They go pretty nicely in a shadowbox with the sign and the blueprints for her dorm room, I'd say.

The items on her credenza included "An Evening with Mark Twain", a small bottle of essential oils labeled "Slumber", and then a few other things.

Really excited to have this little collection. I'll have to show off Raelle's postcards from Willa next.

Not sure if/when the USAF has shown up in Motherland: Fort Salem, but... I'm obsessed with these jackets.

I hope they liquidate more wardrobe items because I'm going to need a closet full of these from all branches and ranks.

My nonbinary Army sergeant jacket is still my favorite, but... This one is a close second.

I prefer much prefer how comfy M's jacket is compared to Abigail's, but, if I ever go to a speed dating event at a convention, I know what I'm going to wear.

Per Eliot at SDCC during the panel: Scylla's witch mark is under her ribs, and Raelle's mark is indeed shiny.

So here's the rundown of what I know so far for Paper Girls giveaways at SDCC!

- There are four pins that are being rotated through at the Comixology booth two at a time.

- There is one poster a day of each character. Today is Mac.

- Image Comics will have giveaways at their booth that you won't want to miss (no spoilers, since I don't have what they are yet!)

- The pedal cabs with Paper Girls wraps also have posters. Uncertain what those are.

- There are several ticketed signings. Today was the cast signing of this poster. There's also ticketed signings at the Image booth. Your best bet is to make a small donation at Felix Comic Art's booth to get BKV and Cliff. Cliff will do quick sketches in hardcover books.

- The screening on Friday is entirely full. There may be standby.

- There's also a panel in Ballroom 20.

Since USPS has lost my package with M's jacket and a sergeant's dress uniform, I guess the one they did manage to deliver will have to be my cosplay for the MFS panel at San Diego Comic Con instead. 🙄

Okay what is the episode title 'Oh Elayne...' referencing? Obviously the singer, but, is it supposed to be a play on words? Because I haven't gotten the Gob song 'Oh! Ellin' out of my head since I read the episode title.

Scylla is lefthanded and I'm very fond of what it took to get me to finally notice that.

Vira hugged Raelle and Nicte after strongly encouraging Spree face shifting.

Theory time: Scylla's wind strike on Nicte in the trailer was actually on Vira, and physical touch (maybe recent?) is what may actually be needed to face shift. So in one scene, Vira grabbed what she needed to shift for three incredibly important people: Raelle, Nicte, and Scylla.

We don't know the mechanics in full yet, since it was confirmed that they DON'T take the faces of the people they killed. So maybe...?
