(After) Book Proposal

In my book project I wanted to take pictures of things and people that I am thankful for. It was a really fun project to work on because I was able to point out things that people might take for granted. Instead of going out far and wide looking for things that people are thankful; I was able to capture things inside a home that people think they should have access to but there are many that do not.

So, in my search of finding interesting ways to take pictures of the people I am thankful for: I decided to walk around the house to capture my family in a way that they were just doing their own thing. The reason for this strategy of taking a picture was so that it did not look rehearsed.

Furthermore, I really like how my pictures are the meaning of what I am thankful for but at the same time they each have their own story.

In this picture it shows a man playing with trains but at the same time his small train tracks turn into real life train tracks. I really enjoy this photo because of the meaning it comes from it. The way it shows the man crying a river is a common saying that people say. The photograph is meaningful because there a bunch of hats in the air that the man is looking at. To me this image is pretty creative because the man in walking on the moon but at the same time he is blindfolding and wearing a party hat. Furthermore, I think the man is on the moon blindfolded because he has no idea where he is and the party hat indicates that it is a special day that he might not remember since he might not know where he is(since he is blindfolded). http://lenscratch.com/2009/03/eliza-french-and-jeff-charbonneau-2/

In this picture there is a man under some building shaped boxes whilde there are some buildings in the background. I find this picture kind of funny because the man is trying to push all the trash into a black hole. As if it was that easy to get rid of things but it is not. It also reminds me of a cartoon(don’t remember which one though).

WoW! what a photo. This picture is very powerful I believe because the way the woman is carrying the house means something. This image is very sad and I believe negative because a child is lying on the street with their hands over their hand. “You can’t see me,” is something that I would call this picture. The way the child covers his face makes him look like a ghost but yet real because we can see his chest, stomach, arms and legs. This image captures a lot even though it looks like a little bit is shown. To think that the sheep are also a part of the hay but they are actual animals that want to eat. i thought this picture was cool because the sheep could be a part of the hay but yet they are different from the hay. This picture is interesting because the human is underground but yet alive. This picture was well made because the dirt color compliments the green leaves color. This picture is very interesting and meaningful. To thing that this could be called an actual tree house because the tree is forming into a house.
