‘Insane in the Brain’

I adore ‘Joker’ version of Martha Wayne! She reminds me of Heath Ledger’s Joker, and I plan to draw her as the Joker in the future. For now, I’ve drawn her as an Arkham Asylum patient. I like the Idea of her being an Arkham Family member and her backstory from ‘The Batman’ (Movie).

My Headcanon for Martha:

Martha’s Backstory (as in the Batman movie): After the tragedy of her parent’s death, her relatives sent her to Arkham State Hospital and Gotham Asylum due to her unknown mental illness.

The “unknown mental illness” Martha suffered from is the exact same what ‘The Joker’ has.

This illness appears as a hereditary condition in the Arkham family (like a curse). In every generation, at least one Arkham family member is affected. For example: before Martha, her mother had the illness leading to the murder-suicide.

The traumatic events in her youth had a lasting impact on her mental health however, after meeting Thomas Wayne, and giving birth to Bruce Wayne, she regained stability. Bruce became a source of grounding and healing for her.

Flashpoint: losing Bruce, her source of stability, insanity triggers her return of her illness. Her grief and loss drive her into madness, echoing the Arkham family curse. It makes more sense why she became the Joker in flashpoint.

Note: Harvey Dent was fun to draw. I think I will draw more of Batman’s villains and allies in the future.

To answer your questions, 'Tim Todd' from Batman: The Animated Series has my vote! He’s just so cute and cheeky! I love Tim Drake in general. But I can’t leave out Dick Grayson, the OG Robin. (The Teen Titans Go! version is my guilty pleasure—he’s so cute and extra, I love it!)

So yeah, Tim and Dick are definitely my favorites. The other Robins are cool too, but these two are just the most iconic!
