Amidst the chaos of this war, I went to the market, only to find no market at all—just a handful of sellers with the same few vegetables. In this time of famine, my children long for vegetables, for we haven't tasted them, nor fruits, nor meat in a long while.

We are trapped in a war, suffering not only from occupation but from the hunger that follows.
