This song thrush was going to be perched on an almond tree, but over the past two weeks, I’ve watched the cherry tree bloom beneath my window and a touch of pink found its way in

Deep in the forest, where no human footprints reach, there is a deep pond older than you and me. It is the home of this being, both bright and dark, who only emerges on moonless nights and could answer any question you can imagine. Happy New Year, folks! I hope you had a wonderful time with family, friends and/or yourself. The most magical thing just happened! ✨ A couple of years ago, @tim_buendia commissioned me to do a couple of paintings based on One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, one of my favorite books ever. Yesterday, I received an email from him telling me he has just opened an art gallery in Aracataca (Colombia), the birthplace of Gabo, and that my paintings are part of the exhibition.
