i don't usually post single sketches, but i did a few quick studies of Bellec's face before drawing this and I really like it, he has some very fun features to draw and i love whatever fabric he has covering his neck, i also wonder where he got his scar and i like how it cuts through his facial hair so there's a spot where it doesn't grow anyway i just think he's neat

i need to voice my appreciation for the absolutely amazing expressions in the cuphead show because LOOK AT THEEEEEEEEEEM I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING, AND HALF THE TIME IT'S A SUDDEN CUT TO THE HORRIFIED FACES AND I NEVER EXPECT IT

the show is genuinely so great, i adored it, and these are just some of the expressions that i'm very fond of hehehehehe

i'm learning lacrimosa on the piano (yes it's because of Amadeus) and i'm averaging about 30 seconds per learning session lmao (i can't read sheet music so i have to memorize the entire piece) i'm at around 2 minutes learned and i started 3 days ago, it's fun

going through art block or something lmao, i think i burnt myself out too fast on art fight ngl but here are some doodles from today! i really missed drawing my boy, he's so fucked up

finished the movie, might make a more coherent post about my thoughts on it later but for now

His death, Lacrimosa playing in the background, it made me a little teary, it's just such a powerful song, the fact he never got to finish his composition... and then the fucking whiplash of coming back to the present day with Salieri all giddy and absolving the mediocrities it i couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity

anyway, this is probably gonna make me a little obsessed with both of their music for a bit and i'll most likely try to learn a song or two of theirs on the piano

watching Amadeus and fdkjhngkhnkgd why must i feel so much second hand embarrassment this is so painful to watch but it's so good and also the music slaps (obviously) and i love how much of a little fucking freak Mozart is???? tbf there had to be something wrong with him to balance out the pure musical talent lmao

omg omg omg okay the scene where Mozart is so thankful and he gets on his knees and kisses Salieri's hand and they have this sweet little moment oh my goodness that is so cute it's making me giggle "Please, it's not a holy relic." and they're both smiling so brilliantly!!!! adorable moment, wtf, augh my heart

i do find it interesting how this story is told from Salieri's POV, confessing to a priest when he's older it makes me wonder how much of it is just the retelling of an unreliable narrator and how much of it actually happened the way he says it did

"please enter me" is not a line i think i've ever heard and it's, well, it sure is something

no offense to any religious folks but seeing a man on his knees and praying and saying those words ksjfngkjdn kinda gay and i am so here for it

not to mention the previous scene looked like he came in his pants from simply reading mozart's compositions which is so fucking real, good music really is just like that
