"While You Were Dead"

This issue serves as a goodbye to our two most prominent deceased characters - the killer and the victim both. Two of my favorites to write (though not necessarily to draw; their designs are agonizingly complicated), and whose deaths both made huge splashes in the readerbase.

It still really charms me how popular Rainhaze ended up being, and I'm just glad everyone else liked him as much as I did. I got to explore a lot of interesting and complicated ideas within his character. Asphodelshine I sometimes wish I hadn't killed off, but only because it makes me miss her. Which I suppose is how I know I did a good job with it.

The title is taken from Cat Rambo's story "Tortoiseshell Cats Are Not Refundable": “He and Mindy would laugh about that together eventually. He wondered what that would be like, to be able to say, “While you were dead.”

I love all the characters, Momo is the best of all, what a good protagonist she is and Okkarun seems adorable to me, my poor peopl teen, both of them do not have a single second of rest and to make matters worse, they make every friend they meet half Yokais GOODNESS

The animation is very striking to me, it is like a breath of fresh air. It is not necessary for a series to have so many details in each frame, there are times when, like Dandadan does, there are beautiful drawings. Also, I feel like this has helped the animation, By not having as much shading or detail, the cartoon of the characters has more freedom.
