Over the past months I have been collecting self portraits for my Equity series!

Originally a series meant to emphasize representation of women using the Venus symbol, my current series focuses on marginalized genders- not just cisgendered females.

Anybody is welcome to participate- whether female identifying or not!

To participate, simply print out (or draw your own) template and turn it into a self portrait using whatever medium you’d like! Then, send me a picture (or share it on this post!) of your completed portrait to have it added to the gallery!

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a psychological disorder characterised by obsessive or intrusive thoughts and compulsions or rituals meant to suppress or satiate those thoughts. These obsessions and compulsions are difficult to suppress and can significantly interfere with a person's quality of life. One OCD comorbidity is bipolar disorder. OCD often does not emerge until early adulthood. Watching compulsions emerge in oneself is both surreal and frustrating. Participating in @thesketchbookproject by the @brooklynartlibrary has inspired me to share some of my old art. A few years ago I found this in my dad's basement- my sketchbook from 2010!
