Hi I just saw your post on the survey about art and health. I was thinking of doing it when I noticed it said that if you were diagnosed with any severe mental challenges you shouldn’t do it.

I wasn’t sure if I counted as I have a diagnosis of ADHD and Autism spectrum disorder. I study the sciences for a levels, and I don’t have any cooccuring learning disabilities I have some challenges with socialisation and executive functioning as well as anxiety, however I don’t believe they impede my mental abilities rather just with meeting deadlines and completing tasks under pressure.

Would I be able to do it or would my disorders discount me?

You could absolutely complete it. I dont beleive your disorders discount you at all.

In truth I am a little unhappy with the wording in the screening for the survey. Initially I wanted to have a specific list but I was advised against it and the current wording leaves it up to potential participants to decide for themeselves.

I will get in touch with my dissertation supervisor and make this more specific. I do hope I havent caused any distress or anxiety with the current wording, and if I have, I apologise.
