I was watching an older First 48 and this one detective is 🥵🥵🥵 so congrats detective guy you’re now gonna be a detective in my story.

I’m so tired. I know it’s because my diet hasn’t been that great but I’m trying to navigate my health on a tight budget. Tomorrow I’ll wake up early and go on a long walk, I’ll do some Chloe Ting videos and yoga, I’ll take my vitamins, I’ll get back on track and focusing on being healthy and loving and taking care of myself. Right now? I’m gonna drink a bunch of tea and write, and when I need a break I’ll work on my sewing.

I’m fostering a parakeet rn and I forgot how much I love them 🥺

I have a parrotlet, Max, and he’s my lil green bean, but he’s kind of a spitfire. The bird I’m fostering has a calmer disposition and is very sweet.

I fell in love with birds when I was younger and have been keeping them since I was 11.

I feel guilty, because when I was younger, I didn’t always go beyond basic care, which you shouldn’t do with any animal but especially with parrots (big or small).

All we can do is be better than we were yesterday.

I bought Lucky Charms for this weeks breakfast and honestly? I might eat it all today lol

I want to watch Halloween movies downstairs but I don’t want my neighbors to know I’m home sooooo probs not tonight 😓

I think I’m gonna crochet and watch something on my laptop till 8 and then write for an hour or so.

I’m so bad at world and character building!

Just gotta keep pushing though! I’m gonna listen to some youtube videos while sewing but yeah...its the worst. I’m the worst. Protag is always just a better version of myself, and the other characters I have end up being super one dimensional. I either put too much detail or not enough. I enter a scene early and leave late. Dialog is flat. But you just gotta keep going I guess. I think I might write a cast list and detail each character and maybe write an introduction for themselves in their own voice? I want to create enjoyable characters and a well rounded story. But...its paranormal romance. I feel that lends itself to being not super serious. Urghhh idk.

Eventually I might share an excerpt after rewriting everything a couple dozen times lol...the ideas are there, I just need to rework and expand on them.

I decided to remake a new account from scratch (prior accounts were unrelated to this username). I needed a fresh start, hopefully in the coming months I’ll be adding photos and give more life to this blog. I missed having a corner on the internet for me.
