what was your main inspiration to start drawing? :0

I've always loved art, really. It's never exactly been something I've consciously done, just something I've enjoyed ever since I was little. I suppose what inspired me to keep it up as I got older is that it's just something I get so much enjoyment out of. It's always been my 'thing' in a way HAHA

Of course, I do through periods where I'd rather do literally anything else than draw, but I always come back to it. I just love the creative process and experimenting with ideas, it's an intrinsic part of who I am, to a degree :)

I haven't made any art in a while, so I drew this as a sort of warm up

Have you thought up any more gods along with/ in the same world as Malachai and Esmerelda? I think they're neat ^^

Not until this ask, actually (which is why it took a million years for me to respond). After some thinking I came up with four new deities:

Caele, God of the air and sky

Thasa, Goddess of fire and guidance

Agen, God of the sea and weather

Ithim, Goddess of earth and agriculture

I thought it would be cool if in this god universe, Caele is responsible for the night sky, and is said to embroider the stars into the sky with silver thread while living on the moon or something - I love coming up with mythology for these guys.

Originally Thasa was meant to be angry and temperamental, but that felt too obvious so instead I decided to make her nurturing and kind. I wanted her to represent how fire gives warmth and light rather than it's more destructive side.

Like Caele, I wanted to give Agen mythology too. I thought it would be cool if in this world, the reason for the ocean being tidal is because Agen has fallen in love with Caele, and follows him around, but can't reach him from earth. I KNOW it's cheesy but I LOVE a bit of cheese.

I wanted to make sure Ithim was distinct from Esmerelda, and decided to make her a diety of agriculture and change rather than life and nature itself.

So, yeah! That's all the new Gods I've added.
